    Describing what you did as a "distasteful joke" is a really far stretch.

    6 months ago there was zero tolerance for racism, 1 year ago there was zero tolerance for racism, and to the best of my knowledge there has ALWAYS been a zero tolerance for racism on the RustEZ servers. 

    This ban will remain in effect for the specified time

    Please not that there is no safe harbor for here for that type of behavior and will not be tolerated

    This decision was made based on the rules and standards that all RustEZ servers use and are available for view both on the RustEZ website and in game.  Feel free to consult me if you have further questions. 

    To simplify it:
    You got caught, accept the consequences and learn from your mistake and become a more respectful player.

    The rules are located on the Server Info tab. While connected to the server, hit Esc and scroll to the bottom of the server description. You can also access server rules from our Connect page.   On our modded servers you can also type /info in game chat to read the rules.

    Here is a breakdown of them:

    Rules ● No raiding, griefing or looting of any kind ● No mic or chat spam, player disrespect, racism or harassment ● No camping loot rooms, monuments or any highly concentrated areas ● No building on roads, around monuments or large areas of unused land ● You may build in caves but you must ensure safe passage for other players

    Please familiarize yourself with them and if you wish to continue the appeal in a few days, by all means, do so.

    How to Play

    This event is a Free-for-all style and the goal is to knock your opponent’s down out of the twig platforms. Everyone will start at the top of the structure and players will slowly fall. 

    Rules and Info
    - The last 3 players will receive the top 3 prizes
    - Players will be given a set of weapon, ammo, and meds (bow, 200 arrows, fire arrow).
    - Each player will have ONE fire arrow that will instantly break a platform. Use them wisely!
    - If you hit the spikes or not in a twig platform you are out.
    It is possible to fall multiple levels which could get you in a wounded state, if you don't get back up you are out, although you can try to convince other players to help you back up.
    If you fall and hit the next floor you may shoot the platforms above you if there are players above, however, if you are out, you may not shoot platforms any longer. Also, playing and standing on the wall frames will get you a disqualification.

    Can we just implement it without the respawn part? make it expensive in caps to use as respawn, but cheap for player use?  That would stop the F1 kill abuse of it.  Or make it landable on ground/water or player builds only, try landing on monument and its instant death.. just some thoughts

    The fact that you find my ACAB sign so hateful, yet so strongly stand in front of the blue shirts matter is really telling. This banning is racially motivated because of this. I’m really disappointed in the RustEz admins decision and when my ban is lifted I will no longer play on any US servers, and will stick to the actually neutral EU servers. 

    This  was motivated by your prior infractions and warning given by other admins during your time here in the community,  not because of racial bias. With the number of prior warnings you have received, the 3 day ban was lenient.  The absolute last thing any admin wants to do is to ban a player, but we can not just turn our back and ignore violations of the rules.

    Thank you for taking part in the appeals process but the original ban will not be lifted by myself prior to the 3 day term.  

    As previously stated our we do not condone violence, bigotry, racism, sexism, hatred or derogatory statements to groups of people. As you return you will notice your BLM signs are still in place. They are political/political movement signs and there currently is no rules against them, just as no rules against other peoples political/political movement signs such as the  Biden, Kanye, Trump,  BLM, Thin blue line etc....

    The issue came of your use of the ACAB slogan, which is used by the group "Skinheads", It is known to the general consensus as a violent hate group. And as such it was treated no differently than any other known symbols/sayings of hate.

    Player was given multiple warning about mic spamming,  harassing players and intentional crashing mini heli's into other peoples bases.  Player ignored both verbal and in game warnings, and would run away and would have to be brought back to admins position and/or taunt admin with disrespectful name calling  such as "PEE PEE HEAD"  (yes, player was very young)
