I don’t particularly believe this is the place to rant or vent frustrations. facepunch are known to re-release items, festive or not. it’s down to the consumer to work out if the item is worth purchasing. RustEZ is a community of servers and not a recognised Facepunch affiliate. Your best bet at venting frustrations is at Facepunch themselves.

I don’t think garrisons should be removed, but at least tweaked to be more rewarding and removal of sams as some players do have low distance of view for fps reasons or otherwise. While I like the idea of NPC garrisons, from what I’ve heard (as I play pure, mostly) that they are in their current state, not really profitable unless you’re intentions aren’t profit but to use your rockets/c4 that otherwise don’t serve much purpose other than for Bradley or if you want to pummel scientists into dust. just my 2 cents anyhow

I personally actually quite like the idea that FP implemented as it was presumably designed mostly for PvP servers and to stunt player growth and snowballing and makes trips to outpost/bandit a bit trickier. However sometimes some updates FP release negatively affect the pve aspect of things but it’s swings and roundabouts as they can and have released a lot of pve relevant updates that’s allowed a lot of pve servers to expand (EU Pure for example). my argument is that while some people may portray it as a shitty update or along those lines, it’s designed to slow down the snowball affect of many players in pvp servers (or at least that’s how I view it)

@LasseThor I speak from Pure servers, so I’ve little experience with backpacks. But it feels more rewarding to actually farm say 30k stone and use it for whatever it may be. Quarries are painfully ugly to look at, easy to loot from and just god awful viewing trying to watch someone place one on uneven ground lol. I feel like the servers, whether it’s just pure or Scourge and Survival too, it would just actively get players to stop wasting time being AFK while their quarries are farming for them. Besides, jackhammers are faster for farming than quarries are anyway. pls death pls remove quarry

What I am about to say is partially controversial and also hypocritical given my previous opinion in the staff groupchat a few weeks back But after some time playing as a player instead of admin, I think it would be beneficial to remove quarries when necessary as i think it dismisses the grind that Rust offers and allows those with the resources to essentially farm without needing to do any work at all. While i know they're planned to be removed, I personally think the earlier the better, as some players can get them early on, allowing for them to get the upper hand with farming, base building and then also grinding as well. While they are a great addition to the server(s) I think that without them it would also cause a great deal of relief to admins so they are not getting pinged every 5 minutes about loot being stolen from them (i talk on experience of this as an admin and resonate with those feelings of 3am pings and you're the only admin online) I feel that overall, they allow for more experienced players to be more relaxed and do less work than the newer players and may even be quite daunting for the other players as quarries can be found scattered everywhere amongst EU Pure (was admin, I know all about them) and as well as this, they take up a great deal of space, especially when some players may use two or more quarries. Lastly, they're big and ugly and server performance could be helped greatly by the removal of quarries. But that's all my own opinion and I personally think they should be removed.

I second this! I’ve seen a couple of people creating custom monuments with their only way to show their progress being in #memedia. It would be nice to have another Discord channel or forum area for players to show off their Rust Edits and also further help the custom map community (I mean, surely if ones good enough we may even see it on a RustEZ server, right?)

Hi, The player was banned after being warned twice for looting. The next day the player was banned after two reports in the space of 5 minutes utilising a minicopter to raid the players compounds and loot the quarries ect. The argument of "better protect your base" is a poor argument, its a pve server that has in the rules: ● No raiding, griefing or looting of any kind. Yet your friend had repeatedly broken the rules. If your friend wishes to dispute this ban he may, otherwise, the ban stays.

After some time, both players were in server at same time again. With Complaining Gaming mocking the other player about the loot he stole, that he got certain items and would return it to the tower that the other player took heli from. We try our best to keep politics to an absolute minimum as we know it can cause divide among players and we want to ensure our servers are a place where you can escape the stuff going on in the real world.
