  1. So much good feedback, some really good idea's that made sense to me. It's hard to suggest things at times, because I'm of the opinion that if it floats your boat to farm massive Networth, is it really going to break the game for someone else? And if not, then hey, whatever makes you happy! Obviously lag can and does create a problem for individuals when they play (because of big farms), so really that should be addressed. Like someone else mentioned I also usually blow a bit of networth on a new wipe session.... so to me I like to have a nice safety net put away. I've voted for the break even option, because of the lag concerns, and there are other ways to farm. Even my 16 plots for the occasional help rotation sets me up with a nice little top up of networth. But ultimately I like to use stone (pub quarry), HQM (pub quarry - halving output would still give me enough for my few builds plus some to put towards scrap for "costs"), and of course LGF (which I do a lot of mini flying with...but also the obvious Networth top ups every few real life days with a bulk sales). In between running "the dailies", if I've got time to muck around, I like to farm crates or hit heli's and the APC as natural or signal spawns. I end up amassing a heap of components that even if I had a full time shop going - I'd still not run out of pipes, gears, tech trash, stop signs, gun bodies. And then there are the excess guns I try to give away occasionally or just end up scrapping. I hate to think of the calculations needed to balance such changes - but could I not sell excess custom SMGs, pistols, or ladder hatches to the /shop? Or my mass of sewing kits? Sure I can scrap them down... but wouldn't they be worth more to the shop as a whole product in a role-play sense? I'm wondering now if I actually have or haven't seen sewing kits as marketable items ? I guess the analogy of a smorgasbord comes to mind. If you don't want everyone at a Chinese banquet to all focus on eating the honey chicken and avoiding the chicken chow-mein, then you better have some sweet and sour pork, special friend rice (edit: Oops, my secret is out), honey prawns, and rainbow beef available as well.... thanks for reading, hope you're all hungry now
  2. Greetings, Firstly let me say, life is too short to worry about plagiarism - but the next couple of suggestions come from my experience on a server by the name of: [AU] Plagued Rust - PVE. ( https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/rust/8193258 ) Some different experiences I had there: 1. Zombies include the grenadier class, and they seem to behave more aggressively and are likely to be in groups. 2. Regular Event "crate drops spawns", that are guarded by different levels of guards e.g. Easy/Medium/Hard(these guys are super accurate/aggressive) 3.a) PVP zones, appear like a transparent dome, covering a few grids in radius. 3.b) Inside PVP zones you find spawning NPC bases with the general turret defenses, including flame turrets which are a nice source of low grade when destroyed. 3.c) One monument is included in a PVP zone - on the Plague server they used Launch Site. Not sure if I even would like to see something like that implemented... but it adds excitement. 4. Quest mod. Quests have varying rewards when completed, and fall into 3 or 4 categories. Killing, Gathering, Crafting/Progression related (e.g. Build a T3 workbench, achievable once). Killing quests may include bears/scientists/etc and once completed and claimed, can be reset to complete again - may reward anything from Salvage Picks, to AK's, to Scrap. 5. One additional Skill, gathering - improves from collecting the lootable stone, metal, sulfur, wood, and hemp resources. While I find EZ Scourge to be my favorite haunt, this Plague server certainly tickled my fancy - as the saying goes. Thanks for your time
  3. I'd love this ability - if only for the scenario of accidentally dropping out of a mini (or having to bail from SAMs). I'm sure it could give added entertainment of building a platform up high on a mountain and base jumping (maybe?). I would not like people to be able to spawn randomly with a parachute - it should only be accessible while you are alive and falling. That would be my main consideration after reading the post by Aurora above. Air transport is of course a fun aspect of the game I love, and it takes resources to initiate and maintain - which I think gives a little more balance when it comes to "fast looting". Meanwhile, without having seen/experienced the parachute functionality it sounds like it would be available to players right from the start? Can you have timers or a counter for the amount of parachute uses per real world hour/day? Just some food for thought.
  4. Can confirm this also happened to me, yesterday. When I logged in today however, after 14:00, was able to claim my airdrop. Seemed to glitch out for just one day, at least for me. How about you today @Brictoria ?
  5. Minnows only stack in lots of 10? Is it possible to adjust to allow for bigger stacks? Like 20, or more minnows? I end up with say a 2.5 stacks of 8 trout from my 20 or so fish traps - but there'll be like 4 or more stacks of minnows. Just seems like minnows are trash. Wish I could cook a stack and eat it all at once in a stew or such - but I'm sure that's getting into Facepunch territory. Not sure if I should have made this a straight up suggestion by itself? Kind Regards, Thanatos
