  1. nope, you're taking what i said out of context. I simplified what the admins meant when they said what was relevant at that time for AU... I'm relaying the AU situation and how it's publicly handled... assumptions are the mother-of-all-screw-ups. I wouldn't go as far to say that what an Admin said made any difference to the matter.
  2. On AU this wipe (and last), it is stone that is done over and over by the same small number of people. Our lovely admin did appeal with a reminder to be considerate that there's only so many events in a day and X number of players on (so you can't gripe it's not you and you should be mindful of others.)
  3. the air car drop doesn't have storage, doesn't make roadkill (or at least in scourge it doesn't kill zombies.) but it is fast and fits in your backpack. There are some places near the road you can't build and sure enough it's where stuff spawns in, i've also heard of possible base destruction because barrels etc spawned in the same spot (it was given as a possibilty of why someone's base disappeared last wipe.) You could always buy the cheapest car and then craft what you need or outsource from somewhere else the bits you want. If someone wants to RP a salesman, maybe RP back and ask for a lower price and more features politely of course.
  4. Do you take Bradley via the roof in launch? if so i can recommend taking him on the ground around the hills/fence/pipes, playing chicken with brad ups the difficulty and fun.
  5. would it be too hard for the server to say 'playername has destroyed garrison' when the TC is emptied by that person? or 'playername has damaged garrison x times' (damage being walls destroyed as to not spam chat for every rocket/c4 or as a percentage such as combatlog for brad/heli) might that help fight the toxicity? possibly nerfing the payout of the non hqm ones might help balance it out.

Server records the player who got kill shot (or above a certain % damage) on brad/heli/garrisons when the same player comes to do it again (server checks records) they do 0 damage (not scourge distress signal heli.) Maybe there's other ways around it but essentially to stop the idea that people either do (or people believe they do) multiple brad/heli/garrisons in a row/daily with some sort of time-out that possibly lessens the toxicity and policing that admins do.
  7. correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not sure i get it... but isn't grubbing (not doing work but taking loot) stealing? i'm just a little confused as to why you'd be encouraging others to break the rules, so i must be missing something.
  8. in my experience; on one rustez server a player asked as they waited for brad and he wasn't there, they'd do barrels etc. they were told by admin they could wait around 10mins, but if brad was 25+mins off, they'd be better off coming back later to try again. i asked if it was camping to wait around (looking for some clarification, so i don't get in trouble ) and an admin said that people should be considerate of others. love it, but i see what you did there on another rustez server, a player waited the full reset time for brad (informing in chat to everyone that they are doing so, they missed out on doing brad as they said they went afk for a sec and they then said they'd wait another full reset.) Community told them that was camping, Admin quoted the camping rules from the site, everyone reading chat understood that to mean it wasn't camping because they hadn't logged off, they could wait around for brad.
  9. on AU PVE scourge, HQM is eating my fuel and not giving loot. i play with eca.morcarn (it is working for him) from the same connection idk if that could be an issue. p.s don't hate me. much Tiff
