  1. Offender: MrCheezyTaco BattleMetrics Steam Server: AU Scourge Time: Between 11:59 PM Length: 30 Days Reason: Continued player harassment, even after spoken to by admins. More Info (Optional): Player was warned first for trolling another player not long after being on the server, then went on to steal car parts from an open lift and was given another warning. After some discussion on global about a player asking/telling this player to leave, I teleported in vanish to watch this player continue to climb into their base, climb structures, just being annoying. I hopped out of vanish, advised on server rules against griefing and player harassment and told to move on. Player then went straight back, and I kicked for ignoring the rules and moved player back to their base. Player logged back on and went straight back to the base in question and sat outside their walls in a chair they placed right becide someone elses TC, ran inside again and ran around again. A 30 day ban was then implemented as it was clear MrCheezyTaco wasn't interested on following the rules.
  2. As per FAQ (thank you elix) "The player who deployed the signal will always be able to loot the resulting crates. Up to four additional players who participate and meet the minimum damage threshold will also have their own instanced versions of loot crates." Seems like it's not the case, as we were doing group helis (less than the 4 people) and the player who threw the signal couldn't open the boxes. Setting it as high because.. well it seems important.
  3. Merry Aussie Rustmas from my family to yours! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, filled with love, and food, and presents. AU SCOURGE #1
  4. G'day Cal! Love seeing fellow Aussie's infiltrating our sister servers. Who doesn't love a good Australian every now and then?! Welcome to the community, and to your unit a very big welcome too! You guys should fit right in, and have a ball of a time. We have a discord too if you really want to get chatting as well, good for recruitment, memes and keeping up to date with any server info you need as well as getting help from admins when your local ones aren't in game! https://rustez.com/discord/invite/Link/
  5. I'm after 2 potatoes and 4 red berries for my skull!!
  6. ZOMBIE RUN TIME!!!!! Saturday 22nd October, 7 PM AEST/8PM AEDT For a bit of mid-wipe fun, I've set up a zombie run arena - which is as easy as it sounds! You start from the starting area, and run to the other side to collect an item, and run back! Don't worry, each round you get fun weapons to defend yourselves, including but not limited to: Jackhammers Chainsaws Snowball guns M2s Beancans Eokas Spears Flamethrowers MOLOTOVS!!! (and some more, just for some giggles.) The prizes will be an all you can loot comp-fest, as the zombies you'll be running from are our normal resident zombies NOT the Halloween zombies, so a bit of a leg up when it comes to crafting or even selling for a small bit of networth. As ALWAYS, ALL RustEZ server rules MUST be followed, and any rules set by the admins during the event to make it fair on everyone. (Also watch your step I may have placed some spikes)
  7. I'm super excited to do this.. even more excited to tell people to fetch me things for my skull. muahahahaha
  8. Offender: Broisbad Battlemetrics Steam Server: AU Scourgee Time: 11:50 PM AEST Length: Permanent Reason: Cheating Player was caught noclipping through the map, noclipping through oil while players were on it, spamming mic. Permanent ban implemented and F7 reported. Clips available upon request.
  9. I don't think anyone can earn 600k networth a day, but I've never pickle farmed so if it is possible we might need a RustEZ support group or stage an intervention lmao
  10. I love this tbh. Net worth grind/obsession is one of the reasons i avoided the modded servers as a player, and i feel it takes away from the spirit of the community. I'm probably one of the few people who can and willingly blow through 100-600k net worth a day or a wipe so this would hurt But I also don't pickle farm and have never done so - I did the last meta before the /shop was upgraded which was hemp > scrap > smokes > explosives, which still required a bit of farming due to needing sulfur and charcoal. But I also won't lie that I've got a note-pad with all the /shop sell prices and the best way to get net worth to fund the gross obsession of APC/Apache signals that I throw down for myself, my team, or.. unsuspecting victims players, so we can all have a bit of fun.
  11. It's end of wipe weekend, so time to have some explosive fun on AU Scourge! 7PM Saturday AEST Goal: Each team will have a few minutes to get to their side, climb one of their four towers, and load your launchers. When everyone is ready, fireworks will be set off in the middle to signify it's launching time. Players must then shoot through the wall of doors to reveal the other teams towers, and keep firing until the towers are destroyed! The game ends when all players from a team are either on the ground, or all 4 towers have been leveled. But be warned: be careful where you stand! That's only twig supports designed to knock out the floor below you! Winning team will receive 3 supply signals for next wipe, and bragging rights that they're better with a launcher. As with ALL events on ALL servers, the RustEZ rules must be followed, and any rules set by admins. Come join us for some fun!
  12. The decorations thing I think was supposed to be fixed with the changes to the blackmarket, or the store. I honestly like the rotation of things, the temptation to buy a lot of the decorative things ESPECIALLY the holiday items is high, and it gives everyone a chance to spend hard earned networth on. Maybe a suggestion to change the rotation hours from 3 hours to maybe 1 might bring in a bit more of a roleplay aspect and give people better designs and open up new opportunity for things like that. There's also the build contests that are held by leadership, and of course you can also suggest build like contests to your admins for a bit more of fun/roleplay, Aurora has held some fantastic build events for cross server fun, and I honestly had a blast participating in the event and helping as an admin. More stuff like that, pushing people to use their talents or free time to build things like that is always great, I have vivid memories of the Wild West build comp and being a cowboy on a horse who policed the mean streets, and the laughs from some of the players hearing an Australian say "Y'all be good now y'hear?" I know from hopping around on all 9 servers people play differently. Some people like the mindless grind of farming for networth, I've seen people build mazes, escape rooms, galleries, racetracks, player-built-events, I liked to build parkour courses for a bit of shits and giggles (again I'm sorry everyone on AU Scourge who I may have pushed to insanity from some of my jumps, and I make no promises that anywhere in the future they won't rear their ugly heads) I'm not sure how much the servers have changed, due to taking so much time off. But honestly you're right with maybe a few smaller fun plug-ins/mods that won't revert the servers to unplayable for some people sound great. Things to kill, puzzles, more things for networth, even a way to make a player market just for networth would be good IMO - can't tell you how many times I've been short for scrap but loaded for networth lol Also fuck yeah on building things for other players to enjoy! Nice work
  13. I agree with all of your suggestions except this, and the chickens. Fuck chickens. The only reason I don't agree with the chainsaw/jackhammer is purely based on the availability of wood/stone. If you have a good setup with the public pumpjacks and player purchased level 10 pumpjacks on the modded servers (Scourge and Survival) you can fuel chainsaws for years in just one good day, and in my opinion it's opening up a world of useless/unnecessary/stupidly large builds because what else can you do with an excess of wood apart from sell it for pennies? if the goal is to sell wood to the /shop for networth, chopping wood is pointless. If you don't mind the grind then fuck yeah, go for it. And if you need the wood to build and upgrade, then it shouldn't take too much time with an axe, or even a no% chainsaw and you'll still do it quick enough, rather than having all of it done within the first few hours of wipe with nothing else to do. As it stands there's either chop wood by hand for the bonus, which is good if you've leveled it or are needing to level it, or trade stone for wood via outpost, which is easy enough if you put LGF in the stone quarry or are hitting rocks to upgrade/craft. Sure, you can sell stone and wood in the /shop, but for an almost stupidly low amount because it's already so easy to get. In regards to the jackhammer, it's opening up the chance for people to upgrade from twig shithouses, yeah, but it's also going to make farming sulf/metal/hqm faster and easier, giving players the ability to sell the more expensive items to the /shop, giving birth to wipes of players that now have millions upon millions of networth with not really much to spend it on apart from brad/heli sigs, and a good run of the /shop. And as someone who regularly abused heli signals, there's only so many you can do a day before you need something else to do. So pets, or something else to blow a wipe worth of networth on seems great. Again this is all my opinion, I've never seen the need to hit level 100 in anything purely based on laziness and the fact all of my mats were easy enough to get through mindless farming with a good K-drama episode on, and I had large builds (not built by me) I farmed for that were completed in days with nothing else to build. I had boxes of wood and stone either sold every week or given away, so it's based on my experiences on the AU servers I played and by mid wipe I just kept fueling the public quarries on Scourge, or my time on Survival the personal deployable quarries. New fun stuff for the modded servers sounds great, given the servers can handle it; it would stop people getting burnt out and bored in a few weeks.
  14. Not sure if anyone has reported - but if throwing multiple bradley signals, if you have a stack and attempt to throw one too many it removes the stack and just give you one. for instance I had a stack of 5, went to throw one down, it removed the signals from my hotbar and only put one in my inventory
  15. Had a really good idea for an event on AU Scourge for something like this
  16. Just hit my 1 year anniversary of owning Rust! I need to spend time on other games
  17. Consider this an official welcome even though I've said it in game a few times ahaha! I'm glad you chose to come visit us in AU Scourge this wipe, we all love having you as part of our community and hope you find it to your liking!
  18. Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy day for me here! I'm glad we got it sorted in the end and thanks for being so patient and understanding. Sometimes the restart of steam/rust can be a bit weird.
  19. Thank you for taking the time to appeal your ban. When you join the server, our server description shows our rules. Multiple PSA's were posted onto global for all to see, and multiple admins verbally told you of our ruleset. As you've previously been banned before and were lucky enough to have a permanent ban changed to a 3 day, this seems to have not changed your mind on adhering to our rules. Below is your previous ban appeal. The ban will remain in place, and will not be lifted. I wish you luck in finding a server that suits your gameplay style.
  20. Offender: SourFruits_V2 BattleMetrics Steam Server: AU Scourge Time: 7:49PM AEST Length: Perm Reason: Multiple warnings by multiple admins, looting/theft, accessing multiple bases via exploits. More Info (Optional) First and second warning on 11/04/2021 for player harassment and damaging vehicles, third warning today for theft, final warning today for accessing multiple bases via exploits. Player accessed a base with an unlocked TC, took items from boxes and furnaces. (see logs below) - stolen items were taken off their body and given back to the victims as player was kicked by another admin for the rule break, told to move on and to read the rules when joining back. After a short while, player accessed another players base and attempted to access car lift, I advised him to move on and do not enter another players base, and to yet again read the rules after just being warned for looting. Minutes later player again crouch jumped through an open window that had locked doors. Ban implemented to disrupt further players gameplay and not wanting to follow server rules.
  21. I'm with Tiff here - AU Scourge had little to no issues with much this wipe. Everyone had their own corner of the map to build in, there was enough resources for everyone and no complaints (only because I think a lot of people didn't notice) about smaller map size. The only real issues I can see in the future is the populated areas like rivers, lakes, monuments, Wook-E-Mart @WooKiE_MaNlol, being a learning experience for all servers when the TC range is back to being increased, and of course the usual mega-builds like hemp and pickle farms taking up an even bigger portion of the map; all which can usually be fixed if people build up and not out. having a 30x30 hemp or pickle farm isn't ideal when in reality you can build it in theory 7x7 and have a few stories which I'm sure all admins can help with some amazing space saving techniques. It'll be weird not having neighbors so close also, but we can still have our little towns and communities where people can congregate; just safely. All in all from AU Scourge side of things the map size is great, performance has been great, and even visiting US servers it's been less of a clusterfeck so hopefully next wipe we can shuffle over there for some events.
  22. public helis will spawn on the map, player engages after a minute or two, and after another minute or two of constant gunfire the heli will leave the fight and continue on until another player tags it. personal heli's have usually had a few weird flying movements but have just had a players personal heli fly backwards away from the fight and stay still. not sure if this is normal or can be fixed
