Candles are really nice decor, but they obviously look prettiest when lit! Would be awesome if they could just stay lit and not melt away after 30 minutes. That is all xD

+1 to this suggestion! If it's possible, that'd be really neat to have on the modded servers! -
I definitely support twig decaying quicker! Twig should definitely decay faster to encourage people to upgrade asap! Also agree wood should remain how it is because many people do use it for aesthetic purposes, like SCE_Wraith pointed out!
