Hey there! Hopefully this will make sense (groggy from working nights) This role is a role that is dedicated to only hosting events on servers so that admin can deal with other issues or griefers. The idea of events are thrown onto admin, and with that we barely see events going on in any server for the most part whether the admin don't have time, or they just don't want to host an event. I don't blame the admin for that, I do understand that dealing with these kinds of people who bring harm, racism, sexism, etc into the servers can be a headache, so with this suggestion it will at least alleviate those other tasks (if you want to call them tasks, due to admin not really having to do it) from the admin, and also keeps engagement up for the wipe so that we don't see a severe drop off in servers (US Scourge for example.) How it'd work is pretty much similar to admin, except that their whole thing would be creating these events (derby, chainsaw chase, rocket pvp, etc) for the people of the server to enjoy and have something to do in lieu of just sitting there and making expo for the rest of wipe when they hit the sweet spot of automation. These "Game Masters" would be staff, or junior staff (kind of like a predecessor for admin or a potential-for-admin role) and they'd be able to post in the announcement chat about potential events that are up and coming, or have a new chat dedicated to events that people can check. To fix the issue of it becoming a mess in the channel, could go with the possibility of having four different channels (one for each area in the world) so that it'd be easier to find said events and what not. The role itself should have around 2-3 people per server so that it doesn't fall on just one person to make 75+ people happy every week or so. Yes, it is alot for the amount of servers that are up and running, and some of them could only use 1-2 people and if they need more for whatever reason, then we could pull a Game Master from US Scourge to go help out at US Pure, or US Survival. Again, this is a very rough draft and something that I have noticed. I will obviously take questions and feedback, but I do think it'd help with the decline in pop later in wipe. Thank you, -Quin

I wish him the best of luck in the future, but as this is a matter or record I'd like to set the record straight. The airdrop I looted was a personal one, a signal grenade I got from cargo and used right outside my base, and as always I announced it was a personal drop and gave the drop coords, which is my base coods, in chat. Logs can confirm. And he said we interacted with airdrops in the past but I've never seen him in game before. I don't go for public airdrops as I have always believed they're for new players, not for OG's who know the game and know all the ways to get loot.

Server: [JP] Pure Time: 2024/April/26 GMT+8 4:16 AM Length: Permanent Reason: Racism, I was on JP server mining with Ores with no player encounter. After the server's quick restart message pops out. I waited in the open field and right as the server went back up I received this message: [You've been banned by SERVER for racism. (Expires never)] My friend proceeds to send me the screenshot of the in-game chat. I have no clue what just happened nor what I did to violate the server rule.

"It seems that after all, I told them to check my body. I have nothing else but a knife and a pickaxe. I was farming when I saw the open base and I got in, but you're right, I'm the culprit. I used to come in to play and build for a while. I shot down the helicopter first and thought whoever shot it down was his. After that, I didn't take anything else from helicopters. The castle I intended to build, you told me I couldn't build there and I told you that you could remove it without any problem, although it didn't bother you at all. There were no bases nearby or preventing anyone from accessing it. I did take the horse. At that moment, I thought horses appeared anywhere, but it was my mistake as well, just like putting a roof to avoid being killed by a bear in a base, since being near the TC didn't let me put a foundation. From then on, when I asked you to see who took my things, you didn't ban anyone. They stole airdrops from me and even when I used the giant excavator, they stole from me too, and yet there were no punishments as severe as in my case. I reiterate, Scotty was one of those who stole an airdrop from me and yet he is still playing. I understand that your rules and punishments are unappealable, but understand why he is not banned? If he did steal from me and on several occasions I told him 'that's my drop, give me back my things', and yet he left anyway. Thank you anyway, I'll take the punishment, but I hope it will be fair for everyone in the future. Unfortunately, I made many mistakes that, to my misfortune, ended in this punishment, although you know it was never to oppose or break the rules."

This is the first time admins are hearing of you having an issue with this player. When things go unreported, it makes it impossible for admins to catch everything and help maintain the integrity of our servers. The rules of the server apply to every player equally; it doesn't matter if they're a member, VIP, subscriber or admin. While online, you claimed you didn't touch anything. Now you're saying you did but it was a joke. The evidence does not support either claim. Offender: -_- The Rebel -_- Steam ID BM ID Server: US Pure Time: 4/25/2024 10:47PM Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing More Info: On 2/25/2024, this player took all of the boxes from patrol helicopter after only doing 13% damage. They were sent a message (not a warning) letting them know the server rules regarding loot sharing for events/monuments. Player was advised to review the server rules listed under /rules. On 3/7/2024, a warning was issued for stealing after this player stole another players horse after the owner told them multiple times that it belonged to them and was not free for the taking. Player was again advised to review the server rules listed under /rules. On 3/15/2024, this player was warned for blocking access across a waterway with a build. Again the player was advised to review the server rules listed under /rules. On 3/21/2024, this player was warned (in both English and Spanish) for griefing after twigging onto another players build. Yet again, player was advised to review the server rules listed under /rules. Today, 4/25/2024, this player walked into another players base and started stealing their gunpowder. The base owner had the box open and witnessed them grabbing the gunpowder so they shut the door to their base. This player tried teasing their victim in chat until they realized they were stuck. They then put the gunpowder back and tried claiming they never took anything. Considering the number of warnings issued and the ample opportunity this player has had to abide by server rules, a ban has been issued to prevent further disruption to the community.

I just want to appeal to my ban since for playing a prank on Scotty they banned me but the last wipe he stole an airdrop from me and they didn't ban him that's not fair for all the players, even worse is that I disconnected so he could see that I don't have his things I know I can't steal and I told him I didn't want to be banned and yet I see that those who pay for some type of VIP have more rights than those who don't

Can heli damage to player structures be turned off? This would help prevent people from accidentally griefing others bases when taking the roaming heli.

you can pick plants as soon as they reach the ripe stage they don't give any more yield from there but facepunch have given them a 14 hour time on ripe to allow you to have crops growing while your offline

Hi Silver! Plants now have a lifespan of 14hrs or so, it's a recent change.

came on this morning to plant cloth at farm base, had 1 planter still growing left from last evening. Looking at details it says, 13 hours. Hope they haven't changed planting or it was just a glitch.

Offender: ：D Steam Battlemetrics Server: [EU]Pure Time: 22.04.2024 17:47 Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing raiding and severe griefing the player got found picking up doors from a tower wich got reported today in #help and also gained acess to several bases via /ladders /twig and griefed them in placing tcs, walling off doors. ban got issued to the severity of the offenses and to protect our community. he collected 16 large boxes filled to the brim within 9 hours on the server with various loot like ak´s resources components supply drops and gear . tons of more evidence availlable on request

Okay I understand I should've not typed it out in the first place and I am truly sorry. But it wasn't something I just said randomly to a stranger. I told my buddy about it and he understands, I know I am at fault and I take full accountability of my negligence. Quite literally Scourge PvE is the only server I play on Rust and I enjoy it ever since joining the server.

I was auto banned from the server for slur typed on to a note. It wasn't towards anyone in the server, I have a buddy I play with on the server and he was offline. I put two cans of beans in his inventory and wrote a note for him but I forgot the server had instant ban filter and kicked me immediately. Again, I did not mean to write that towards anyone else in the server and I apologize.

Raid bases were taken out for performance reasons a while ago. I think I read somewhere that Death was considering adding some kind of alternative? But only if it had stable performance.

Saku im not sure if you realize this yet but the RustEZ admins and staff are usually pretty on top of things. Also if you dont get a responce well its because they have RL stuff to deal with too.

They repeatedly came back to the areas to mock the victims, call them names and tried to belittle them by asking them to say/do things in order to "earn their base back". Both this player and their teammate would leave the server in between rounds of harassment to change their name, rejoin and start the harassment over again. When I popped in and attempted to talk to the player and their teammate, they repeatedly talked over me and began yelling about wanting to be intimate with my mother. Considering the complete disregard for server rules despite multiple players and an admin attempting to help curb the behavior and the obvious lack of desire to be a positive member of the RustEZ community, a ban has been issued to prevent further disruption to other players. There are a lot of logs available for this players offenses. A limited number has been posted here, but more are available upon request.

Offender: GBUMP Steam ID BM ID Server: US Pure Time: 4/20/2024 2:42AM Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info: Player first joined the server today, 4/20/24, at 12:27AM and began stealing from players with their teammate. They were warned at 1:02AM for stealing from another players furnace. At 2:15AM they were warned again for stealing from another players box. They were informed of the server rules and told these rules must be followed in order to play within the RustEZ community. At 2:30AM they began changing codes on another players build without permission. Considering the rapid build up of infractions, a ban has been issued to prevent further disruption to the community.
