  1. US Scourge / VIP Benefit suggestion.

Currently VIP need to add wood to the Barbeque (BBQ) in order to start cooking whatever one may add. This is also true for fireplaces. One can not cook without wood.

Suggestion: Remove wood necessity for BBQ to cook.

  2. Auto-Collect looting system works on zombies, and any lootable crate. It doesn't work on air supply drops.

Public ones, I can understand why they may be that way, but is it possible to have auto-collect work on personal drops?

Allowing them to stack was messing up the sell orders at the Fishing Villages, allowing players to buy multiple fins/goggles/tanks for the price of one. A similar issue to the mixing table sales at Bandit Camp. So the solution was to change the max stack size back down to 1 for those items.

    Ah RIP.

It makes barrel/crate running a bit simpler but not a big deal at all.

Thanks for the replies Death, Alexa

  4. Wiping mining and wood cutting levels in a modded server is unnecessary, especially with an XP system.

I propose 1 of three things to fix the massive annoyance (my personal position about the subject) of having to (every third wipe) start all over bonking rocks and nodes for marginal benefit. That is, 1% per level is minimal and marginal.

If you mine 10 stone nodes at level 0 you get 10,000 stone (I think, not totally sure about level 0 loot)
If you mine 10 stone nodes at level 99 you get 19,900 stone. (99% increase at level 99).

To get to level 99, it takes many, many, many, many, many hours of endless node smashing, even with the bone club method.

    1. Increase the reward per level for all levels about 50
ex: At level 0-49  you get 1%... At level 50-75 you get +2%... At level 76-99 you get +3%
For a total of 168% boost.

    2. Add a Mining and Wood cutting level boost, which costs Net Worth
ex. Red Bull power up that gives you (hypothetical numbers, I don't now the XP levels) +1000 wc and + 1000 mining ex.
ex. Power up for wood cutting as it's own entity, power up for mining as it's own entity (1000 xp each, but separate items).

    3. Don't wipe levels in the traditional third rotation way.
People active in the wipe have spent a lot of time (likely big bucks) to grind net worth and play on the server. Their levels could be maintained through the wiping of everything. Every wipe a person doesn't play (or every 2nd wipe) their levels get sent to 0.

The reason for this again, is that it is significantly inconvenient as a grinder on the server to have to do nothing for an entire wipe but grind mining and wood cutting levels. Literally. Sitting at the PC smashing nodes to prepare for another wipe isn't ideal. Hopefully others agree.

  5. It would save me at least half my life span being able to have a stack of 250-500, maybe 1000 on pickles. They are currently 100 and filling composters is a lethargic and demanding task.

Stacks of 100, in 11 spots and 1 output for fertilizer will take approximately 7-8 hours (ball park).
So I request that limit increase because fertilizer stack goes to 10k and not having to spend a full time job worth of time on composting to grind for scrap would be totally awesome.

    If not:
What if we had a tiered VIP system.
    VIP
    VIP+
    VIP++
    or something like this.

The idea being, we have regular VIP to date.
VIP+ Could double the stack limits of everything for the user (probably miserably difficult to do in practice, but maybe not).
VIP++ could be 5x perhaps. Price in according with the demand for it.

In short, I need a higher stack limit for pickles so I don't have to set alarms anymore :)

This has nothing to do with hindering your point gain. It has everything to do with everything stated in the message you quoted.

What exactly are we doing that reduces your grinding abilities and what are we not doing to stabilize said grinding abilities?

As I said the change isn't RustEZ's fault in any fashion, but if you are able to influence the shop exchange respawn rate that would be something that would help me sell off 12,000 corn and like 100k cloth

@DragonCoffee The changes mentioned above is not our doing, in fact, we've already buffed the restocking times of NPC vending machine. I will keep an eye on this thread to see how we can better optimize it for our servers.

As for trade cooldown, that argument is very overused at this point. Trading should not be used on demand like this. It circumvents vending machines and face to face transactions. I've stressed over this enough that trading is not designed to be what you want it to be.

Rust Realism is going to be a miserable lump of shit not worth investing in.
This server has modded stacks and a point system people grind for. Take away their trading capacity, and reduce their gains is not generally a positive thing unless intentionally trying to reduce the point gain in a wipe. It is not to the benefit of this server, especially grindy players to have NPC trades.

There is not a single shop on the map buying cloth or corn for an equal rate, and thus establishes the market.
That you aren't interested in considering changing it or super-amping it up (maybe  consider end of wipe 100000000000000x increase?) is really a mixed message as having a point system becomes useless if you're reducing our grinding abilities, (no it's not actually your fault, it's Rust's) and not helping stabilizing grinds, then this experiment is basically over.

Yes I came at this heavy but take this serious, this one little thing is enough to make me not have any interest in Rust, let alone Scourge.

They are less material expense but with your current rates,

    3 c4 = 3750

    7 hv = 10,500

And idk, I think the rest of the points seem to correlate with each other. Although i'm not really 100% sure about adding items into the shop. Just because at the start of wipe I would have everything right off the bat, I think adding stuff like M2's and L9's might hurt the in-game market.

Stuff like 16x scope or pants I can't see myself wasting points on, It'd only take me a couple minutes to farm the supplies for pants or the 300 scrap to buy scope from bandit or outpost wherever its from.

Edit: And also to add, You have the M2's at about the same price as 2 heli attack signals. I think with that rate it would make more sense if both the HV rockets and C4 equaled a heli attack signal. (1 brad kill per 1 heli kill using points)

Second Edit: Brad is spawnable just like heli, What if we just had a brad signal instead of the C4 and Rockets?1

Are you more likely to buy brad kills from pointshop or blueprint the more useful/resourceful one. Although that I think about it, to be fair yeah 3750 points at start of wipe is a great deal for a brad kill on day 1 when you can farm that fairly easy in a wipe. That value and HV could both be raised

  9. I made this post separate from ni the feedback for Scourge (US) so that it isn't buried amidst the ever growing list of suggestions.

After grinding the point system an entire wipe and spending most of my free time playing the game, I have come up with what (as a player, and grinder) I think are reasonable values for prospective items to be considered for adding to the point shop (/shop) exchange is.

Buying = thing we can buy
Selling = Things we can sell

    Buying (points):
    LR96 Rifle: 2000-2500
    M249:7500-10000
    Pants: 100
    16X Scope: 500
    Snow Jacket(Jacket): 250
    C4: 1250
    HV Rocket: 1500
    Corn/Pumpkins: 50food for 400 Points (1:8)

    Selling (points):
    Air Supply: 300-500
    Pookie: 150
    LR-300: 200
    M249:1000-1500
    Charcoal: 20000 Charcoal = 25 points

These are just some items that came to my mind that I thought would have a positive influence on the Scourge economy, incentivizing game play, trading, and making grinding more balanced towards a rounded game play/experience.
