  1. Due to instability this is being turned on and off throughout some of our servers until Facepunch release a fix.
  2. The pouch is for rewards if you are eligible to claim them, any unclaimed will be sent to the pouch and will remain in the pouch for 4 days making it possible to carry them over to the next wipe.

    HOPPER BUG

Thanks for reaching out and explaining what happened, though the screenshot may not fully explain what's going on so I'll try my best to work out the problem you are having. After reviewing the screenshot provided, it appears the items were shown in an item bag on the ground rather than inside a hopper. Item bags will despawn if they aren’t picked up in time, whereas a hopper would retain its contents. Because the hopper itself isn’t visible in the screenshot my best assumption would lead to it likely caused by a line-of-sight issue from the item bag on the ground to the hopper itself. Unfortunately, line-of-sight problems are not a bug and you should thoroughly check the system works before leaving it unattended. Facepunch has also made adjustments to line-of-sight this wipe with other deployables (such as sprinklers and ceiling lights). As this behaviour originates from the base game, it isn’t something we’re able to control or prevent server-side. For that reason, and in line with our policies, we’re unable to compensate items lost due to Rust/Facepunch bugs or game mechanics. We do genuinely appreciate you taking the time to report it though, and we’d strongly recommend double-checking placement and visibility when transferring high-value items in the future to avoid this happening again. If you have any other questions or need clarification, feel free to let us know.
  9. Facepunch have made some changes to lights and sprinkler placement; Lights can be no higher than 1 wall height, they no longer provide any light on 1.5 high roof height set ups. Lights will need to be placed centre to 4 planters intersecting to get max 2x2 coverage. Sprinklers cone of coverage has changed which means that they have to be placed on the ceiling to water down. (no floor or half wall placements)
  10. This is a really solid idea, and I like that it leverages vanilla mechanics. Using the damage split between standard players and those wearing paintball overalls feels like a very “Facepunch-intended” way to enable opt-in PvP inside a PvE environment. Setting paintballstandarddamage to 0 while keeping paintballoverallsdamage active neatly avoids griefing, gear loss, and admin overhead, while still letting players scratch that competitive itch. From a PvE perspective, the biggest win here is player-driven content. It gives people something fun and low-risk to do later in wipe, encourages creativity with arena builds, and opens the door for community events without needing staff to constantly supervise. I especially like the idea that this sort of gameplay fits Pure really well for creating fun events that fit within Facepunch's community guide lines. It also scales nicely: casual 1v1s, organised tournaments, or even admin-run events if desired, all without impacting normal gameplay. Definitely feels like something worth experimenting with, at least in a limited or optional capacity, to see how the community engages with it.
  11. We appreciate you taking the time to share what’s worked well on other servers. Our Discord help channel is intentionally designed for quick, short-form issues and is kept open so all admins can see them. This allows broader visibility in case something turns out to be a global issue or can be resolved more quickly by an admin assigned to a different server. For anything more involved, we already use a structured ticketing system through our website. Store support, game-related help, bug reports, and appeals are all handled there on a single platform, which helps us keep things organised, tracked, and consistent. While Discord-based ticket systems can be useful in some setups, using Discord for quick assistance and the website for formal tickets is a deliberate choice for how we operate. That said, we do review processes as the community grows, and feedback like this is still valuable and discussed internally. Thanks again for the constructive feedback.
  12. You can access it from the back side if you pass through the trucks on the far right of your screenshot
  13. Hi 17PussGaming, Thank you for taking the time to submit an appeal and for acknowledging the behaviour that led to your ban. We appreciate the maturity in your message and the apology offered to the staff involved. After reviewing the timeline, history and circumstances surrounding your ban, we have decided that the ban will remain in place. While we are glad to hear you have taken the time to reflect, the severity and nature of the past actions mean we are not able to reinstate access at this time. We wish you all the best moving forward, and thank you again for reaching out and taking responsibility.
  14. FYI Steam time includes loading screen time not just connection to a server. If the server restarted while afk, you would have been sent back to the loading screen and that time is included on steam but not to the connected server. Additionaly the time is unique to that server, if you play multiple RustEZ servers each has its own play time timer.
  15. I've found 2 on wipe day within the first couple of hours, there was also a few others that mentioned it in global chat they had found them. I have since found some more so I don't believe there is an issue.

  17. Two wrongs don't make it right but I will say the two messages that player posted was not even close to rage baiting and at the time you did not respond. After 30 minutes you then directed a message to that player unrelated to what was being said or had been said in chat leading up to that point, but related to a warning you received the previous wipe for using a patrol heli to damage their build. Without any interaction from that player you proceeded to follow up with another message directed at them and from what I can see you didn't like the fact they were not responding to you in chat so you proceeded to fly to their base and antogise them verbally. You are right they eventually did respond to you with "Not as ugly as your mum" off your comment "I don't know why you are clapping its ugly as shit", from that point they didn't say anything further but you proceeded to body shame them and called them a hippo. Again two wrongs don't make it right but in this instance you were harassing them and looking for a rise out of them. As far as what was you allege you heard to what was actually said you can not provide me with anything to backup your claim but the other side can therefore I have concluded my investigation around that and the chat logs which then followed that point in time. Unless you can provide me with substantial proof I will not be discussing this issue any further.
  18. Hi 17PussGaming, For context I will start with the night of 8th June which you requested someone above server admins in which I told you to DM me. You had mentioned a slur was used over the in game voice which you believed was directed at you. You have also said following that incident you we told to "stop taking patrol heli down or else" followed by the admins coming to talk to you about it, but you have described it more as screaming and swearing. I asked if you had recorded any of this for me to review, which you replied with "no unfortunately i dont". I then followed up the incidents with the involved admins in which I received a recording of what was said to another team member as they past by you and that they may have gotten loud, told you to "shut up and listen" due to you talking over them. My findings being that the phrase said was not directed at you but was said to a team member in another language, part of the phrase sounded like the slur, but the full phrase translated to "Hurry up, lets go". It was clear in the chat logs you were advised to let the next heli go to allow other members of the community to have a go not how you described it. As for the screaming and swearing the "shut up and listen" might have been a bit heavy but it isn't considered swearing and its natural to get louder when someone talks over you either way spoke to the admins about it. This is where it should have ended but it didn't; Which brings us to the night of 11th June in which you continue to throw accusations at those involved 2 nights prior in global chat. While I was going over the logs for this night you had turned your focus to another player in which they replied to others but not your comments which lead to you flying to their position. Once you seen the player at their base you proceeded to hover over them in your minicopter and antagonize them through voice comms. You would leave briefly flying to another part of the island they were situated on and return to further try to get a rise out of the player, this is the point at which I drew the line on harassment. Not only did you continue to harass the admins from an issue that shouldn't have gone any further than our last DM but you started to harass another player that was unprovoked. Normally this would be a warning for a first time offence but as it has been stated to you before you already had several warnings and next time would result in a ban. After reviewing your past warnings, player interactions and mutes starting from February this year it was clear you were causing a negative impact on the community therefore I deemed it necessary to proceed with the ban.

    Possible PJ issue

I believe what is happening is on restart the containers ignore the modded stacks and reverts to vanilla stacks and basically anything in the containers over the vanilla stack size gets deleted. Example; Vanilla stack size for low grade is 500 if before a restart there was 1500 in the input container then after the restart it would show 500 therefore losing 1000 low grade. This applies to the output container too.
  20. This has been broken for quite some time, but good news you should see this fixed in an upcoming patch
  21. Thanks we have found the issue and will be released in a later patch
  22. I get this quite often and this is the bandaid method which has worked for me but onlt 50% of the time to restore it back to normal; (until next login) Open the Black Market Select the Buying tab Find the cheapest item (or something you don't mind buying) Press the Purchase button, NOT the cart icon then in the checkout pane press the Checkout ($XX.XX) button Now go to the selling or buying tab and select the item and adjust the quantity and checkout like normal, it should now calculate and show the total cart and allow you to checkout out. My experience with the bug is anything that is in the shopping cart pane which includes using the shopping cart icon but not the Purchase button in the Buying Tab and all selling buttons in the Selling Tab. When trying to process the shopping cart it is not calculating the cart and moving to the checkout pane (sometimes spam clicking will make it work). The only button that does work is the Purchase button because it goes straight to the Checkout pane.
  23. Added to discord events https://discord.gg/rustez?event=1366723360121425970
  24. I did not realise that was an issue until I tried skinning a door last night and it wasn't loading because of all the other skinnable items within my radius. Either a paginator or maybe reduce the radius it looks at will help this situation.
