I understand where you're coming from, and it's a question we've seen come up quite a few times. The main reason is that Pure is listed under Rust's Community servers, which are governed quite heavily by Facepunch's Community Server rules. Because of those restrictions, we can't add gameplay features that alter the vanilla experience, such as raidable NPC bases or other modded PvE content. Custom maps and monuments, like Waffle House, are permitted under those rules, which is why you'll occasionally see custom map additions while the gameplay itself remains vanilla. If we were to add features like raidable bases to Pure, it would no longer qualify as a Community server and would have to move into the Modded category. That said, we do offer many of the features you're looking for on our modded servers. From what you've described, I think Elysium would probably be the best fit. It includes custom NPCs at monuments, roaming train and convoy events that you can raid, and a much more challenging PvE experience overall, while still giving you plenty of opportunities to learn combat and base defensefrom the NPCS before jumping into PvP. We know those types of features are popular, and we'd love to offer them on Pure if the rules allowed it. Unfortunately, that's a limitation set by Facepunch rather than a decision made by us.

Compared to Pure (vanilla) Air Drops the modded servers have really sad loot tables for them.
-
It's come to my attention that the auto claiming has not worked in a while, tested today to confirm. Will need to manually claim them prior to the time running out for them to be stored in the stash. Believe it's the case on all modded servers running it.
-
If we were to introduce something like that, it wouldn't be added to the existing servers. It would more likely be implemented as its own server type so players who enjoy the current experience aren't affected.
-
That's a great suggestion. I'll pass it on to the development team for consideration. I'm honestly not sure why fish aren't already included on the Black Market.

@Death - See my last comment on this bug report, its the last time I can see this being brought up. ( I think it's been so long we all accepted that we lost the discount when becoming an admin)
-
Thank you for the report. This is a known issue affecting all collection-based server challenges due to a hook issue. Our developers are aware of it and are currently investigating a fix.
-
@Raul Please see this help ticket for details but we have confirmed all decor packs are not working.
-
Could you please provide some more information. Have they been placed by players? Have they been placed by admin? Has an admin touched them with tools?

Door closer attached to the industrial garage door dlc
Elixil3 commented on ShadowStorm's bug in Issues
@Death You might need to add the industrial garage door dlc to the custom timer you have for the normal garage door -
Due to instability this is being turned on and off throughout some of our servers until Facepunch release a fix.

Thanks for reaching out and explaining what happened, though the screenshot may not fully explain what's going on so I'll try my best to work out the problem you are having. After reviewing the screenshot provided, it appears the items were shown in an item bag on the ground rather than inside a hopper. Item bags will despawn if they aren’t picked up in time, whereas a hopper would retain its contents. Because the hopper itself isn’t visible in the screenshot my best assumption would lead to it likely caused by a line-of-sight issue from the item bag on the ground to the hopper itself. Unfortunately, line-of-sight problems are not a bug and you should thoroughly check the system works before leaving it unattended. Facepunch has also made adjustments to line-of-sight this wipe with other deployables (such as sprinklers and ceiling lights). As this behaviour originates from the base game, it isn’t something we’re able to control or prevent server-side. For that reason, and in line with our policies, we’re unable to compensate items lost due to Rust/Facepunch bugs or game mechanics. We do genuinely appreciate you taking the time to report it though, and we’d strongly recommend double-checking placement and visibility when transferring high-value items in the future to avoid this happening again. If you have any other questions or need clarification, feel free to let us know.

Facepunch have made some changes to lights and sprinkler placement; Lights can be no higher than 1 wall height, they no longer provide any light on 1.5 high roof height set ups. Lights will need to be placed centre to 4 planters intersecting to get max 2x2 coverage. Sprinklers cone of coverage has changed which means that they have to be placed on the ceiling to water down. (no floor or half wall placements)

implemented Supporting Paintball PVP in PVE server
Elixil3 replied to polyrain's topic in Suggestions
This is a really solid idea, and I like that it leverages vanilla mechanics. Using the damage split between standard players and those wearing paintball overalls feels like a very “Facepunch-intended” way to enable opt-in PvP inside a PvE environment. Setting paintballstandarddamage to 0 while keeping paintballoverallsdamage active neatly avoids griefing, gear loss, and admin overhead, while still letting players scratch that competitive itch. From a PvE perspective, the biggest win here is player-driven content. It gives people something fun and low-risk to do later in wipe, encourages creativity with arena builds, and opens the door for community events without needing staff to constantly supervise. I especially like the idea that this sort of gameplay fits Pure really well for creating fun events that fit within Facepunch's community guide lines. It also scales nicely: casual 1v1s, organised tournaments, or even admin-run events if desired, all without impacting normal gameplay. Definitely feels like something worth experimenting with, at least in a limited or optional capacity, to see how the community engages with it.- 4 replies

We appreciate you taking the time to share what’s worked well on other servers. Our Discord help channel is intentionally designed for quick, short-form issues and is kept open so all admins can see them. This allows broader visibility in case something turns out to be a global issue or can be resolved more quickly by an admin assigned to a different server. For anything more involved, we already use a structured ticketing system through our website. Store support, game-related help, bug reports, and appeals are all handled there on a single platform, which helps us keep things organised, tracked, and consistent. While Discord-based ticket systems can be useful in some setups, using Discord for quick assistance and the website for formal tickets is a deliberate choice for how we operate. That said, we do review processes as the community grows, and feedback like this is still valuable and discussed internally. Thanks again for the constructive feedback.

You can access it from the back side if you pass through the trucks on the far right of your screenshot

Hi 17PussGaming, Thank you for taking the time to submit an appeal and for acknowledging the behaviour that led to your ban. We appreciate the maturity in your message and the apology offered to the staff involved. After reviewing the timeline, history and circumstances surrounding your ban, we have decided that the ban will remain in place. While we are glad to hear you have taken the time to reflect, the severity and nature of the past actions mean we are not able to reinstate access at this time. We wish you all the best moving forward, and thank you again for reaching out and taking responsibility.

FYI Steam time includes loading screen time not just connection to a server. If the server restarted while afk, you would have been sent back to the loading screen and that time is included on steam but not to the connected server. Additionaly the time is unique to that server, if you play multiple RustEZ servers each has its own play time timer.

Elysium's Loot Table Might Be Missing Large Backpacks
Elixil3 commented on Theodore Baggins's bug in Issues
I've found 2 on wipe day within the first couple of hours, there was also a few others that mentioned it in global chat they had found them. I have since found some more so I don't believe there is an issue. -
