I can confirm that if there is a server restart or crash quarries and pumpjack's will loose most of what is in the containers
On scourge I don't know of a work around but on Survival if you set the conveyer to only put in a max of 100-500 then the most you will ever loose is that max value, output if piped doesn't seem to have that problem because it usually all transfers out every cycle.
Can you confirm if this is still the case?
I jumped on just now and could craft them. I do know that for a long time there is a maximum you can craft in a single stack, even though it allows you to select more than that limit.
Also just looking at that EAC log you may have lost sync with steam and possible rust didn't recognise you owning them.
Thanks for reporting I have identified a bug but if you stay by the drop zone until they drop it shouldn't be a problem until we fix the underlying issue.
I see what you mean and is unfortunately a Facepunch prefab issue not isolated to EZ servers.
I have managed to get in though by holding down the crouch key while climbing the ladder and then make sure you look dead ahead at the window and you will get in.
It doesn't hurt to send a bug report because yes it might be normal for native Rust but because EZ has added the ability to pipe to them it may not be the desired outcome EZ was intendeding thus a report doesn't hurt.
As Sweet mentioned from time to time we open this up to VIP players and times when everyone can access it. It doesn't happen often because it is a subscriber only server and need to retain that exclusiveness but does happen a handful of time a year to promote it. It will usually be announced on our discord server when it does open up.
It would be super handy to have them go through solid walls just like electrical wires. Something I do is use wall frames, run my pipes through them and then place a prison cell wall. This also works for chain link fences, any window and floor grills which is super handy and you might be able to incorporate one of these methods in your build.
This has been spoken about internally in the past and still gets brought up time to time, it comes down to how it will be managed so that it doesn't impact normal game play. If it does eventually get implemented then we will most likely only allow the Head admin of the server to create and manage locations.
This is already a feature on our Survival servers. Our survival servers are built on the concept of automation and after the industrial update additional containers had the ability to attached adaptors to them on our Survival server to still keep it unique. I suggest if you haven't already to try our Survival servers if automation is your thing.
In my opinion I don't think it's necessary as it gives a player a destination to travel to and would only be an issue on our Pure servers that don't have the ability to teleport to Outpost or Bandit. Also from my time on all 3 server types I see players create their own little rest hubs outside their builds where they share T1,T2,T3 and other benches for the community to use so it might be worth looking out for them.
I know of a Facepunch bug that may cause this and has been around for a long time but depending on how you place the triangles will determine if you have issues down the track as you were in your report.
The easiest way I can replicate this is by making a ring using square and triangle foundations and then fill it in, most times I get down to insert the last foundations and it will give me the same error. I believe triangles want to snap to 2 different points in some scenarios which in my opinion tricks it into seeing 2 buildings.
