Offender: Colonizer (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 10:46 PM CST, 7/2/2023 Length: Permanent barring successful appeal Reason: Griefing and player harassment More Info: Player was asked by another player to stop playing a guitar around them on the complaining player's base. Player refused to stop after a verbal warning, so I kicked them from the server and moved them back to "spawn beach". Player proceeded to log back in and return to the base in question. They picked some corn from the base's open farm, entered the base, and left. Player then found an owned minicopter, and proceeded to push it away from the owner's base. I asked them what they were doing, and received a blank note on the ground in response. After showing that notes could be written on, and asked again what they were doing, player continued to push the minicopter. Based on responses in global chat, player understood what was being said in both global and verbal chat, and showed no intentions of changing their ways. A permanent ban has been issued. After being warned, the player proceeded to attempt to steal multiple times, but was stymied by US Scourge's antitheft addons. This month, the offender was warned not to encircle other player's builds. We were later brought to a different player's base, who accused the offender of guessing his code lock (he had used the "funny number") and changing all of his codes. Unfortunately, the accuser had replaced all locks, so we could not determine if the accusation had merit. The offender proceeded to show multiple instances of player disrespect in voice chat, and was given a kick in the hopes he would reform. The offender returned to the server, went back to the accuser's base, and proceeded to try to destroy the accuser's mini-copter. Administration confronted the offender while in the act of trying to destroy said mini-copter. He claimed the mini-copter was his despite not being able to mount the pilot's seat (and the accuser was able to pick up the mini-copter via salvaged hammer). Offender: Jimbo (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 6:19 PM CST, 5/7/2023 Length: Permanent barring successful appeal Reason: Player harassment More Info: Player stole a horse, initially claiming that he found it, then claiming it was given to him while not being able to remember who did so. After being warned, player dismounted and left the horse to its rightful owner. Afterwards, player went to the same horse and attempted repeatedly to kill it with a pick. At this point the player was kicked for player harassment and moved back to the starting area ("spawn beach"). The player returned to the server and made his way to the same team he had harassed previously. He offered to buy the same horse, and the team demanded 700 scrap. The player claimed he had the scrap (he did not), and jumped onto the team's train to attempt to pay with 600 metal ore instead. The team refused his offer, and he refused to leave the train on request, claiming that he was hitchhiking. Given the multiple infractions, his focused harassment of the same team of players, and no apparent intention of changing his ways, a permanent ban has been issued. During this time, multiple players used this window to attack and steal from other players. An admin from another RustEZ server was logged on told people multiple times in global chat not to do so. You, along with multiple others, stole from a minimum of three different storage containers during the period in which PVP was accidentally enabled. In your case, you actively encouraged raiding during this time ("its raid time boys"), accessed far more containers than most other banned players, and accessed containers from multiple players' bases. Offender: Knownixian (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 9:56 PM CST, 4/22/2023 Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing and player harassment More Info: Per his previous ban found here, https://rustez.com/forums/topic/6016-ban-krownixian/, Krownixian had incurred multiple violations and was given a previously permanent ban. The ban was lifted after further investigation, with the specific warning that "any further infraction of any RustEZ rule will result in a permanent ban". Player had started insulting another player, that they had previous negative interactions with, accusing them of hacking or exploiting. Given this continued disregard of the rules (in this case, rule #2, "no player disrespect"), combined with the aforementioned warning, a permanent ban has now been issued. The next day, the player stole from at least 4 different pumpjacks. Given the unwillingness of the player to obey server rules, a permanent ban has been issued.

Offender: Qluxie (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 1:11 AM CST, 4/11/2023 Length: Permanent barring successful appeal Reason: Language and racism More Info: (NOTE: All words in quotation marks are exactly as said by Qluxie.) Other people alerted the admins to Qluxie saying a racist slur in voice chat. I logged in, and shortly after Qluxie, instead of denying, said in global chat that there was "no proof". I proceeded to follow him to his base, whereupon he complained to his partner that it was "just one word". Furthermore, he stated that the current generation are "snowflakes" who are "butt hurt over what I said". Afterwards, they went to the roof of the main launchpad building and shot at all the Bradleys to claim loot. (While the latter is extremely rude, it does not break the server rules.) I decided to wait for server leadership to make a decision on a permanent ban based on the above statements. In the meantime, Qluxie put a homophobic message on an Egg Suit, which he then handed to his partner, who took it and wore it. Other players took screenshots of the message being worn openly, and complained in Discord. I logged in to find that Qluxie's partner had dropped the egg suit and logged off in an attempt to quickly destroy the evidence before I could locate it. I recovered the egg suit and confronted Qluxie and his partner about it. They both confirmed that Qluxie had knowingly made the message, and that Qluxie's partner had knowingly worn it publicly on the server. They claimed that they had done all of this because another team destroyed their 4-mod vehicle. Alleged destruction of virtual assets in a video game will never excuse homophobia or racism. I attempted to ask the player to stop, and they refused. A warning was issued, which the player ignored. As a result, a kick was issued. After returning, player entered the base of the player they built their wall around and refused to leave. I also asked them to leave and they refused. Given all of the above offenses, a permanent ban has been issued.

Offender: Balistic54321 (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 3:59 PM CST, 4/6/2023 Length: Permanent barring successful appeal. Reason: Griefing and harassment More Info: Player was told to leave another team's base and refused. Admin intervention was required. The player then re-entered the same team's base and a warning was issued. Player then attempted to TC grief the team. At this point, a kick was instated and the offending TC's removed. Player came back and immediately resumed TC griefing. Given all of these offenses, a permanent ban has been issued.

Offender: josiah8859 (Steam ID) (Battlemetrics ID) Server: US Scourge Time: 11:30 AM CST, 4/2/2023 Length: Permanent barring successful appeal Reason: Theft, griefing, and player harassment More Info: Player attempted to get other players in trouble for playing music during a public event, apparently as revenge for not doing what he wanted. Player wrote a note in game mentioning that they "dont really care about what people listen to" but still tried to bring the issue up in Discord to punish others. Player has also recently lied about store purchases in order to deceive leadership for their personal gain. They knew they had not purchased their in game items through the web site, as evidenced by global chat, and proceeded to request a store cash refund for items purchased with in-game resources. These are the final offenses after a series of offenses, including but not limited to: heli raiding, camping monuments, player harassment (beyond this offense), and admin harassment (technically also player harassment) Given all of the above offenses, a permanent ban has been issued.
