Box's ban appeal was granted by the admin who issued it on the day you appealed, but then was reinstated today after you logged on and immediately started breaking the rules again. The original ban meant that any further infractions, even one, on any account, would mean a ban for that account. Why do trouble makers always think admins know less than we actually do?

I don't look at hours played, I consider a main account as the first you played on and alt account meaning alternate as any other accounts you use after. Saying someone else on your IP may be responsible doesn't work as Steam uses both IP address patterns and hardware/system identification to track, link, and verify accounts, such as but not limited to hardware identifiers (CPU, GPU, motherboard/MAC/system IDs) and generated unique hardware fingerprints. Your accounts are from your PC and you are responsible for the activity on your PC. The extra details I mentioned are relating to your association with another banned player who was banned partly for sexual harassment towards one of our admins who separately and coincidently banned both of you. On the day in question you logged on and built a small room just for that pornographic painting and then you left. In my opinion it's clearly evident that you we're not here to play the game but only here to further the harassment in collaboration with your associate based on your shared motive and history. I can further conclude this as you two know each other on steam and on the day you made the painting you were both here already causing trouble in our help channel by talking nonsense to each other about your bans to the point where one or both of you had your chat deleted from that channel. But as I have previously said the reason I didn't need to go into these extra details is because 'why you did it' didn't doesn't matter as breaking our rules on an alt account after being banned on a main is enough. Our decisions are made by our assessment of the available evidence and in my opinion I have seen more than enough to conclude what kind of player you are and I have determined that your style of gameplay is not welcome here. I wish you luck finding a server that better suits your style of gameplay. I consider this matter closed.

Thank you for participating in the appeals process Blinto. "Blinto" is an alt for your main account named "Box" which was already banned. "Blinto" was banned for violating our server rules for inappropriate content on a painting. There is a lot of details I could add but in essence you have proven to me that you have no interest in learning and following our sever rules so your ban appeal is declined and we wish you luck finding a server that better suits your style of gameplay. Scotty.

DarkDani thank you for taking the time to appeal. I appreciate your message and I believe you're sincere so I'll give you another chance. Even though I believe you are sincere, I have to warn you that in these circumstances when a ban is lifted that any more transgressions, even one, can mean the ban will be reinstated permanently. It's just how we are required to do things. I'll list our rules here so you can familiarize yourself once again with what rules we all must abide by to play on our servers. Server Rules - No raiding, griefing, or looting of any kind. - No spam or harassment, either via mic or chat. - Disrespect, racism, or any form of discrimination is not tolerated. - Do not camp loot rooms, monuments, or highly concentrated loot areas. - Building in caves is allowed, provided that you ensure safe passage for players. - Blocking waterways, surrounding monuments, or monopolizing large areas of land is prohibited. - Avoid excessive building. Buildings that cause performance issues for others may be required to downsize. - Pipes can only connect containers that are in close proximity and must not span large distances. - No politics or controversial discussions or imagery. Maintain a respectful and comfortable environment for all. - Cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics in a way not intended by the game creators is strictly forbidden. - You may promote yourself once every 24 hours. You may not promote communities. - And the life rule - Be a decent human being. The ban will be lifted immediately. Welcome back and have fun! Scotty

The concern I have is anyone can join any Rust server, which means there WILL be trouble makers from time to time. How will you handle it differently next time?

Offender: DarkDani Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 5:36 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Harassment. More Info (Optional): DarkDani had an incident with another player who stole his helis and destroyed them. There was some heated conversation in chat that unfortunately led DarkDani to the players base for revenge. DarkDani arrived and tried to use incendiary ammo to destroy the bases foundations, but luckily due to our servers anti-griefing settings it failed. Once he realized shooting the twig was not working he started shooting the base owner instead ignoring the base owners requests for him to stop. I appeared and informed DarkDani that the base owner asked him to leave and not doing so can constitute harassment. He didn't budge and started verbally harassing the base owner instead. The friendly warning didn't work so I had to take the official route. 10/19/2026 - I warned DarkDani for harassment is which included instructs for him to leave. Not only did he not leave but he didn't even pause talking. Again the base owner asked him to leave and it fell on deaf ears. 10/19/2026 - I warned DarkDani a second time, this time making it crystal clear this was his last chance. Again it didn't even break his stride and his dark tirade continued unabated. 10/19/2026 - DarkDani continued harassing ignoring all warnings and admin directives. It became clear that DarkDani was not interested in listening to this servers admins or following the rules explained to him multiple times so a permanent ban had to be issued.

Thank you for participating in the appeals process WrenchNit. I'll give you another chance but first I'll let you know some simple methods to make sure you can avoid facing any more issues. Do not enter other players bases without permission, and if you don't own it don't touch it without permission. As far as decaying/purges bases is concerned you are only allowed to take loot from grey satchels on the ground which appear when chests and containers decay, nothing else. Also I have to warn you that in these circumstances when a ban is lifted that any more transgressions, even one, can mean the ban will be reinstated permanently. It's just how we are required to do things. Just to make sure you know our servers rules and avoid any more issues I'll list them here. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them. Offender: Sandra Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 4:44 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing/Griefing/Harassment. They were discovered flying around in it. 10/12/2026 - Sandra and his accomplice were in a players base severely harassing the players there. They were asked to leave and refused so I intervened and instructed them to leave whilst explaining the rules governing harassment so they understood. They were specifically told if they returned to this base it will be considered harassment. After his accomplice had been banned Sandra farmed a lot of wood and returned to build right on the harassed players doorstep. I explained this goes directly against the previous instructions not to return so an official warning was issued. 10/12/2026 - Sandra went and farmed a lot more wood then returned and started spam twigging the same players base inside and out. Sandra had shown that he was not interested in respecting the community or following our rules so a permanent ban had to be issued.

He said he understood and apologized to the base owner, then after some prompting he left the area. 10/11/2026 - Jaxson re-skinned his kit and a minute later snuck back to the same base and started shooting the base owners chickens. As soon as he pulled the trigger he was re-spawned back to the beach and was warned again for Griefing. Hello lazydog85, thank you for taking the time to appeal. It is the responsibility of every player to read and abide by the rules of any server they join. While we do understand that words and phrases such as what you used still heavily permeates music, comedy, movies, and other media, those words and phrases are not welcome here in any context which is why our rules expressly prohibit their use. There are only certain conditions where a ban of this kind may even be considered for reversal, but after an investigation I believe the circumstances in this incident allow you another chance. Just one. Please understand that any other infraction of this nature will result in a permanent ban. The ban will be lifted once 72 hours have passed from the time of this reply, but it will remain on your record. There will be no additional chances as this post should encourage you to change how you use language in any format/medium on our servers and to abide by the rules. - Scotty. Hi Badger, thank you for taking the time to re-appeal. I appreciate your message and I believe you're sincere so I'll give you another chance. Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing/Griefing More Info (Optional): 10/05/2026 - BOBThefirstone was warned for Stealing after he looted another players large furnaces. The warning included instructions to type /rules in chat to learn what rules he must abide by to play on our server. 10/05/2026 - BOBThefirstone was at another players base killing all of their cows and chickens. To stop the griefing he was kicked from the server with instructions to read the rules before re-joining with the added warning that this was his last chance. 10/05/2026 - BOBThefirstone re-joined the server and immediately went to the next closest base and started killing the cows there. It was crystal clear that BOBThefirstonewas was only on the server to cause trouble so to protect the community a Permanent ban was issued.

Offender: jaggy_wags Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 3:08 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Harassment / Stealing. More Info (Optional): 09/28/2026 - 'jaggy_wags' was warned for Harassment when he wouldn't leave another player alone or leave the players base after many requests for them to do so. What I observed made it clear this was not a new player who was just hanging around who I'd lovingly shoo away and explain what can constitutes harassment, but it was indeed intentional and malicious harassment so I officially warned him on the spot. I explained the rules and instructed him to leave and and go play the game which he appeared to do but he didn't go very far. After our interaction I posted a message in chat explaining where players can learn the rules. 09/28/2026 - 'jaggy_wags' returned pretty much straight away and stood a short distance from the victim's base staring at them for a few minutes. Eventually he made his move and went back onto the victims base. I had already explained in person that not leaving a players base when asked to do so can constitute harassment, which he was now violating a second time, so before he could start up again with the victim, and to hopefully impart the gravity of his situation, I kicked him from the server with instructions to read the rules before re-joining and removed him from the area. 09/28/2026 - 'jaggy_wags' returned and I watched him loot a sleeping player on the side of the road. 'jaggy_wags' was given many chances to learn and follow the rules, in person, in chat and in warning messages, but he ignored them all so to protect the community a permanent ban had to be issued.

Offender: Negus Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 4:05 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing, Griefing, Harassment. More Info (Optional): Negus joined with an accomplice and it was quickly apparent they were not here to play the game and only here to cause trouble. His accomplice was banned within 18 minutes for racism towards another player and Negus was already being belligerent in chat. 09/18/2026 - Negus started crawling over other players bases and I issued a warning after I watched him steal from another players beehive. The warning included instructions to type /rules in chat to learn the rules. 09/18/2026 - Negus was warned again after I watched him twig onto another players base to get to the base owners minicopter but I was there and able to intervene. This warning also included instructions to type /rules in chat to learn the rules. 09/18/2026 - After two warnings Negus then ran to the base of the same player his accomplice had harassed earlier and started harassing him too. The base owner asked him to leave him alone several times and Negus refused to do so. So I warned in chat that he was asked to leave and to do so. Negus still did not leave or stop harassing the player so I appeared and asked him in person to leave and he still refused. I asked him one last time telling him this was his last chance and again he refused. It became undeniable that Negus never had any intention of playing the game and he was just here to cause trouble so to protect the community a permanent ban was issued.

Offender: Donbryce Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 3:30 AM Eastern. Length: 3 Days Reason: Harassment/Disrespect More Info (Optional): Donbryce is a long time and valued member of the community. The only problem we've really had is when he gets riled up in chat he gets argumentative, which can lead to being abusive and it tends to go too far. This is an adult server and arguments happen but there comes a time when it happens too often and the severity of the language can effect the peace and harmony of our environment and so action must be taken. 01/11/2024 - Donbryce was spoken to about chat etiquette. The discussion outlined our rules and expectations in regards to harassment, griefing, event spawns, chat etiquette, and using the mute function with players they disagree with instead of creating a toxic environment for everyone on the server. 02/04/2024 - Donbryce was spoken to about chat etiquette again after another incident. 10/21/2024 - Donbryce was warned about chat etiquette after another incident. 11/13/2024 - Donbryce was warned again for abusive language in chat after an altercation. 1/16/2026 - Donbryce hid behind another players base to avoid the Patrol Helicopter with another player who had previously mentioned doing this on purpose to remove the other players build. 02/05/2026 - Donbryce was warned in person about abusive language in chat after an altercation and it was made crystal clear that we can no longer tolerate it and the next time we will have to take action. He said he understood the rules and would no longer express his frustrations in chat. 09/05/2026 - Donbryce was verbally abusive towards another player once again. Considering the many warnings he's received for this behaviour, and the several in person discussions outlining that it's going to catch up with him, a 3 day ban was issued in the hopes this will finally impart the seriousness of the situation and show consequences will follow if he continues. This is what's known as a 'last last chance'. Next time the ban will have to be permanent.

Offender: Ldgpro1 Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 3:52 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Harassment More Info (Optional): Ldgpro1 went to a players base was being a nuisance. He started talking nonsense to the base owners, claiming he was an admin and was going to ban them, claiming the base was his and they should get out, claiming his gear was stolen by them, which after checking logs, I confirmed it wasn't, saying he won't leave until they gave him items etc. And he refused to leave their base upon their request. When a player refuses to leave another players base after repeatedly being asked to I always appear and simply explain that not leaving a players base upon the base owners request can lead to harassment warnings etc. Usually situations like this are from ignorance of the rules and a quick chat can solve it, but Ldgpro1 said he didn't care, he was never going to leave and I should just ban him. Well the friendly route didn't work so I had to take the official route. 09/04/2026 - Ldgpro1 was warned for harassment after refusing to leave a players base upon the base owners request and then admin instructions to leave. 09/04/2026 - Ldgpro1 was warned for harassment again after still refusing to leave the players base. This warning made it clear this was his last chance to comply. 09/04/2026 - Ldgpro1 still refused to leave after two official warnings and so had shown that he was not interested in respecting the community or following our rules so a permanent ban had to be issued.

Decay for me, from a player point of view, adds a little more challenge and more of a feeling of accomplishment for my wipe, like I earned it more, and makes farming/tea making something I need to do later in the wipe too which is great. Usually my farm is unused in the last two weeks which makes me sad From an admin point of view it's really great as it clears out abandoned buildings which greatly improves server performance (less lag) and leaves much more good land open for building bases. It ensures cars in those abandoned bases decay too so they return to the wild to be used by active players which is great, and it has kept the economy humming more in the late stages of the wipe. All good things.

Offender: ノヴチソク Battle Metrics Steam Profile Server: (US)Pure Time: 2:58 AM Eastern. Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): 08/16/2026 - ノヴチソク was warned for Griefing in English and Russian after entering another players base and clearing auth on the base owners TC, then authing on it himself and placing a lock on it to deny the base owner access. The warning included instructions to type /rules in chat to learn what rules he must abide by on our server. 08/16/2026 - ノヴチソクwas warned for Griefing again in English and Russian after I watched him ladder onto the same players base he had griefed 5 mins earlier. This warning made it clear he was on his last chance. 08/16/2026 - ノヴチソクlogged off for 20 mins then came back and immediately laddered onto another players base. In a short time ノヴチソク ignored multiple warnings for the same infraction which showed he is not interested in respecting the community or following our rules so a permanent ban had to be issued. За короткий промежуток времени ノヴチソク проигнорировал многочисленные предупреждения за одно и то же нарушение, что продемонстрировало его нежелание уважать сообщество или соблюдать наши правила, в связи с чем было принято решение о бессрочной блокировке.

The base owner removed most of the twig before I could take images but luckily he missed two from which I could retrieve evidence images from. kitsune was given multiple warns and chances yet continued to Steal and Grief which has made it clear that they are not interested in respecting the community or following our rules so a permanent ban had to be issued.

08/02/2026 - 2:00 AM - Harveypup returned to the server and griefed another players base. Harveypup was banned previously but after an appeal he was given one more chance. As per the conditions of his ban being lifted if he transgressed our rules again, even once, then the ban would be reinstated permanently, and so it was.
