Think you have what it takes to earn the title of top sniper on US Scourge? OBJECTIVE: Capture the longest distance zombie kill with the L96 Rifle during April wipe. Players will have from Friday, April 5 to Monday, April 29 to submit their best shot. RULES FOR SNIPERS: 1. You must upload a full-sized screenshot that clearly shows the hit in the kill feed. No cropping or editing. 2. You must secure your own L96 Rifle to enter the challenge. Ammo & attachments are your choice. 3. You can build sniper towers or work in pairs/groups but only the player name shown in the kill feed can enter the screenshot. 4. Yes, capturing and posting the screen is required (see #1). 5. No cheating or being dishonest: You will be disqualified from this and all future monthly server challenges. REWARDS: The Top 3 Zombie snipers will receive a supply signal to use on wipe day in May. The top sniper will also earn the L96 Rifle on wipe day in May. GLHF! Even if it's not a winning shot, please feel free upload and share your kill feed attempts, screens of your sniper gear or sniper tower here for discussion!

Does not appear to be an issue for players, only admin role (or possibly heads?). - I do not have access to use /vip on US Scourge. When I use this perk, I get the "Upgrade to unlock perks..." message. - Other VIP perks, like instacraft, full backpack and /rec work fine. - On the other servers I checked (where I play but do not have admin priv), I do not have the smexy pink subscriber role colour in game chat.

Does the fix require containers to be shared again (i.e. right now containers that were previously shared are unshared).

Previously, when players died during an event they could rejoin us using the respawn option. This would send them back to event location with just a torch and rock. Here is how event = true respawn works now: 1) RESPAWN: Player arrives at event spawn location in Scourge starter gear (EZ PJs, Hunting bow, 31 arrows, rock, torch). 2) REVIVE: Player arrives at event spawn location with only torch and rock - but they use caps. 3) BED/BAG: Player arrives at event spawn location with only torch and rock - but they must have a bag placed.

Player-owned and placed pumpjacks can be opened and looted (both the LGF storage and Crude loot containers) by anyone. Tested: Had a random person open the containers on a PJ owned by the player who reported the issue. Could open and loot both containers (no team or shared TC access, and the PJ had a locked TC beside it). Player was Build blocked area when they looted. Also had a player open Tankie's pumpjack and they could loot both containers there as well.

All container types previously shared using the new "Share Container" button revert to unshared (third time shared containers are unshared this past week). Not sure what is causing them to change back.

All event participants were still at event location when the event was ended. Players who waited until we ended the event used home ports and left by their own means. This happened during both events we ran on Scourge 03-25-19. Only players who left the event early using /leave were ported out correctly.

Knocking on Death's Door - Saturday March 30 @ 8pm EDT Come on down! You're the next contestant on Knocking on Death's Door! This time around it will be 12 players competing for the top three spots and the goodies rewarded for making it that far. The Rules are simple... The first 12 people to come into the event using the /event command and successfully grab a seat will be able to play. Once all of the seats have been filled we will start the game. During the game we will go in order and have players select a number 1-50 (that remains, of course) until everyone has been "knocked out" except for the final player. You are "knocked out" when the door behind you opens when another player or yourself picks your door lever. There will be up to 2 rounds of play with 12 people each. Admins will let players know at the start of the event if there will be 1 or 2 rounds. Note: Players who win a prize cannot claim a seat in additional rounds. Prizes (First Round): 1st Place - $10 store credit to RustEZ.com 2nd Place - $5 store credit to RustEZ.com 3rd Place - 3 Supply Signals Prizes (Second Round): TBD based on number of participants.

I missed it! -
Keep an eye on the Announcements channel in Discord and in the forum thread. The RustEZ Casual server hosts some pretty fun PVP events and participants can usually claim any prizes on any RustEZ server. Much like Scourge events that we add to the Announcements, you don't have to be a "regular" on that server as admins usually provide the event gear and so on. If I'm online I usually try to find some Scourge players to join me on Casual for the events. Always a good time! =D
