  1. Actually, I've never tasted Häagen-Dazs. But my point is still valid: 20 pints of chocolate ice cream please.
  2. OMG you certainly do need 20 pints! Make sure it's all chocolate as well!
  3. You know the human psyche. Even if it has a max limit of 100, someone will damn well max it out.
  4. If you want to show financial support to the servers (and rightly so), plus make a positive impact on the community, try buying a couple of mass Pookie & mass supply signal drops. That way you can support Death with dollars (pounds) and be a good guy to the player base. And who knows, maybe once other players recieve your gifts, they will then decide to pay it forward, and also buy mass Pookie & supply signal drops for the community. Be the first to start a knock-on effect.
  5. VIP perks will be removed from the Pure servers ONLY. You will still be able to enjoy all VIP perks on Survival and Scourge as per usual, as well as access to the EZ Store.
  6. Players come and go from the servers all the time. Everyone seems only focused on players leaving (and making big statements of the servers dying). With the return of Pure to the Community Tab, there will be many more new players joining, discovering the EZ Community for the first time. I'm betting the server numbers will go up once Pure is back in the Community Tab. So come on peeps, think positive. Also, I don't believe those who make the fatalistic statements of never returning because of changes; They usually come back in the end.
  7. And that's how vanilla Rust is played. Death is intentionally realigning the server to vanilla for a reason. If you don't like that, you can always play on Survival or Scourge, which will remain modded. Pure was meant to be the gateway for new players to discover the EZ community, which has been largely lost when Pure left the Community Tab. It has also been a server for new players to learn the game. Death also said Pure will not have access to the Store, so no purchased PJs or recyclers. Gotta do it the old fashion way. As for the admin concerns... no comment.
  8. Tribrats! How are you! Think about you often
  9. Hell yes! IMO instanced public pumpjacks & quarries ruined the economy on Pure & in turn negatively impacted the server experience. I was advocating to have this removed shortly after it was first brought in.
  10. You could always start on a new server. There are 3 different Pure servers to choose from, plus 3 Survival & 3 Scourge. And as a Subscriber, you also have access to Asylum. Plenty of opportunities to restart each month
  11. Bad bear jokes can be POLARising
  12. I'm pretty sure the decision had already been made, with or without this vote.
  13. What ever happened to the plan on splitting Pure into 2 servers? ie. the plan to have a server that is the same as Pure is today, and a completely vanilla one? Then you can keep Pure with no upkeep and the vanilla one with. That way players can choose which they prefer.

    Map ideas

Way back in 2019 (I think it was) We had a world map as the wipe. It was really great, and I have always hoped to see another one again. The map that was used is no longer compatible with the current Rust version unfortunately. I built a base in Germany. Someone announced they had deforested the entire of New Zealand. North America was connected to Europe with a massive bridge, with lots of loot & NPCs. 2 Brads were cruising around the ruins in North America. Cargo lost the plot & sailed right through the land, destroying lots of bases. Someone built the most amazing ice cave base in Greenland. Good times.

    Wipe?

Australian servers wipe on the Friday morning after the first Thursday of the month.
  16. Simple. The networth is never put back into the server/community. And it does negatively affect other's gameplay. Players build massive farms/factories to generate massive amounts of networth and never use it. They just want to collect it, as you are desiring with this thread, for showing off, and to have more than their neighbour. The problem with doing this is you have huge bases, that cause a significant amount of lag annoyance to other players. And a lot of the time, these networth farmers play very little; they only log on once in a while to collect resources, sell to the black market, and to stop being purged. I'm sure you have seen massive buildings & not seen anyone inside for the whole wipe. Yes, some players spend some networth at the start of the following wipe, but not millions worth. Yes, there are players who use networth as it was originally intended. But I also believe networth ruins the game, as networth farmers rush to the end in the first 2 days, build up their megafactories, and then don't play for the rest of the month. There is little to no player interaction with the community as a whole. I often wonder why some networth farmers even bother when they hardly play, I can only imagine it is because of some form of FOMO. I wholeheartedly agree with Elixil3 that networth should be wiped on a regular basis.
  17. They are probably having trouble identifying the ban from 2 years ago, and whom should handle this appeal. To make it easier on the admins, post server you were banned on, what your IGN was at the time, and ideally your Steam ID (big number that starts with 7656119...). A link to your original ban report on this forum wouldn't go astray either.
  18. I never said networth was a bad feature. I'm saying the hoarding of networth is the problem. Winning or losing? Losing. Losing because of the massive farms & factories solely designed to churn out networth that already tank player FPS. You won't see any new imaginative builds, just look around the servers and you will already see the peak creativity players go to just to hoard networth. Creating a leaderboard for networth will just compound the problem with more large builds. The purpose of networth, as you pointed out, is to be USED, but mostly it is just hoarded. Great plugin, but it's abused.
  19. And this mindset is the main problem with networth ^
  20. Firstly, the definition of camping is hanging at launch, specifically waiting for brad to respawn. So chilling at launch with others as you described would be considered camping. However, it is NOT considered camping if you take brad killing equipment to launch and loot the launch site while you are there. If you are actively doing something, then you are not breaking the no camping rule. Standing in one spot, doing circles, or pacing back & forth waiting for brad is a no-no. This camping rule also extends to any timed event; It used to include players who would loot a puzzle room, log out while still inside the room, wait until everything respawns, log back in, loot, rinse & repeat, but with FP's "kill sleepers at monuments after 20 minutes" function, puzzle room camping is no more. What is NOT against the rules is taking brad (or heli, or cargo, or oil rig) multiple times in a row. This is a common misunderstanding of the 'no camping' rule. It is even less of an issue now with the introduction of instanced loot. But, if one player (or small number of players) continually take brad, and the rest of the community regularily misses out, you can ask the admins to speak to the players to let someone else have a turn once in a while. The alternative is to get better at anticipating when brad respawns, so you are at launch already looting the place when he does. There is nothing wrong with having a base next to launch, or using drones to check out if brad is back. If you don't like it, fight fire with fire & start doing it yourself. Lastly, ANYONE can shoot at the patrol heli (or brad). Doesn't matter if it is already fighting someone else, you are still free to attack it if you wish. And there is no such thing as calling 'dibs' or the like, it is a public server, with public events, that anyone can participate in. And if anyone objects to you participating, keep calm, don't be toxic, and just report bad behaviour to the admins. The other main problem you have is playing on US servers.
  21. Not on Pure. Pure is a server for more laid-back gameplay, and less active members of the community. Reactivating decay won't solve any issues; we already have a purge system that removes inactive players and their bases. Large farm bases are more of a problem for Survival and Scourge servers, where players build monstrosities just to generate networth. I just don't see the point of decay on Pure.
