A while back Death hosted an AMA in which he said he was already planning to overhaul the raid base plugin, but there were higher priorities so it may take a while before changes are made.

Car hoarding is something that your server admins should be handling. If you have players hoarding vehicles, and others cannot find one, then that is definitely something your admins can speak to the hoarders about.

Spoken to in game and instructed to return ALL stolen items. Player continued playing the game, including recycling stolen materials. Given a final warning (translated to Ukranian) which was ignored.

As previously mentioned, servers do not wipe on the first Thursday of the month for AU. Because of timezones AU servers wipe Friday morning after the first Thursday of the month. But yeah, it's still not hard to remember when wipe is. Set a calender reminder in your smartphone people. I hate this time of each month, because I am so tired of answering that question over and over. That, and "is it a bp wipe also?" I will say that when we did have a CC on the map, I had a big ass sign up, with big ass writing, stating when the next wipe was (I have seen AU Scourge take this one step further and set up a security camera pointing at the sign). But I still get asked this question a hundred times a day.

Keep the same, at least for January, until the kids go back to school. Otherwise increase admin powers to regulate player builds.

Hi drew, I'm sorry that you felt it was needed to post this. I'm sorry for your fellow gamers who share your sentiments. I admin on the AU Pure server. Even in that back corner of the EZ community, under 3 logs and 2 rocks, I have heard similar grumblings. There have been forum posts alluding to it as well. I have had for the past few wipes, several US based players play on AU because it's quieter (possibly other reasons as well, I don't know). I'm not about to go on a crusade to bash anyone. I would, however, like you to consider, before you leave the EZ community all together, trying out AU Scourge for a wipe or two, and see how it goes for you. It may not be the best ping for you, but you might find it more suitable. The AU team (Pure, Scourge & Survival) work together, share information, and have similar attitudes. I think you might enjoy the aussie humour for a change I have been an admin for nearly 2.5 years, head of AU Pure for 2 years. I have trained quite a few admins over my time, including a couple of admins on AU Survival, which have in turn trained some admins on AU Scourge. The point is the AU admin team are laid back and easy to get along with, with similar temperments. However, we enforce the exact same EZ rules that you are used to, and we do not tolerate any BS, or favouritism. Doesn't matter who they are, how long they have been part of the community, or how much money they throw around; break the rules and there are consequences. TLDR: Before you leave the community, come try out the AU servers!

When confronted by admins and minicopter reclaimed, they became rude and argumentative. A kick did not resolve the situation. They tried to run away, and refused to acknowledge the rule of no stealing. As they showed no intention of acknowledging the rules, and stated their intentions to steal again, a ban was enforced. You finally found a chest that could be accessed through a window when jumping up. I observed you steal the items from that chest. I then appeared and tried to speak to you and you ignored me. I used Google Translate to communicate no stealing in spanish in the public chat and you still ignored me. At no time did you even try to communicate with me. I kicked you from the server in an attempt to make you realise what you were doing was wrong. I returned the items you stole and teleported you away from that base. You logged back in, immediately went back to the same base, the same window, and stole the items again. I appeared and was saying in voice chat very clearly "NO" many times, but you continued to ignore me, or even acknowledge my presence. You stole the items again, at which point I banned you from the server based on your repeated theft and chooisng to ignore an admin. Even if you claim to have no sound, I was in your face and you still ignored me. I understand there is a language barrier. I tried to overcome that by using Google Translate. You ignored it. If you are joining a server in a different language, you need to translate the rules so you understand them before joining. Something you either did not do or chose to ignore. The ban will remain in place. I wish you luck in your future gaming. (anyone who speaks English and Spanish I hope Google Translate did an OK job...)

@bethfaceplays stop necroing dead appeal threads please. These do not involve you, and only further inflame already delicate situations. If you have an uncontrollable urge to reply to threads, there are plenty of other forums to go to. Locking this thread as there is nothing new to gain here.

First Thursday of every month only works for US servers. For AU it is the Friday morning after the first Thursday of the month. So to implement this Death would have to create multiple defines if that is possible.

One which they put up a sign & wrote "sory" on it. Watched as they attempted to break into several more bases, returning repeatedly to one in particular.

Offender: maks.plotnikov.2017 BattleMetrics Steam Server: AU Pure Time: 17th Novemebr 2021 @8:38pm AEST (10:38am UTC) Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing More Info (Optional): Previous console warning for stealing. Logged in and went for the nearest base. Found an exploit, entered the base and started looting. I appeared, spoke to them & they only spoke in Russian, but continued to steal. Teleported them out & used Google Translate to inform them of the rules. They then immediately retunred to the same base, reentered using the same exploit & started stealing again.

Your ban was appealed, and rejected on the 16th October. It was even reviewed by a member of Leadership (Aurora). A month's passing does not change the situation. I'm sorry to say that your ban will not be lifted. Best of luck out there.

Predator has contacted me regarding the situation. I have taken a look. Your first warning was issued by Butter for going through another player's base. Your second warning was a console warning issued by Predator for looting a sleeper. Now to stop the speculation, the sleeper in question is a known long time SOLO player on the server, who is NOT in any team, nor is he Steam friends with you. Taking stuff from a team mate (like the supposed red card) is not grounds for a warning, and not what happened in your case. Your third incident was last night when Predator WATCHED you fly down and loot another player's furnace. You had the metal frags in your inventory, so this story of "...to see if it had more slots before i built one" does not fly. There is evidence in the form of screenshots for all 3 offences. So, as fas as the rules, and admin procedures go, you had your 3 chances and Predator was completely correct to issue the ban. AFAIK Predator is considering if the ban should stay or be lifted. A discussion was had between us, several other admins, and another head admin regarding this situation. I would expect the decision to lift or keep the ban will pivot on Predator's belief if you can be a valued member of the community, or not. So far, your actions are not in your favour. TLDR: The ban was justified, Predator is reviewing, and will make a decision.

I did speak to TristanBBB in game when I found out about the first raided base, and he confessed to the stealing and despawning items (but not before initially denying any wrongdoing). He also admitted that he was aware of the no raiding or stealing rule. A verbal warning was given and I also warned that if I find his name on any other bases further warnings will be issued. Considering the extent of the stealing and the despawning of items, a permanent ban will be applied.
