Hi Fishy Pete, Thank you for using the appeal process. I have reviewed your appeal, and spoken to several other admins. It is not acceptable to go into another player's base for any reason, unless you have been inivited. In the most recent incident, the base was not freely accessible, unless you consider boosting onto the roof as freely accessible. This behavior implies intent. As you have already received 2 warnings on separate occasions for the exact same behaviour, and this is the third incident of you accessing another player's gear without permission, it shows that you have either not learnt your lesson, or do not intend to follow the server rules. The ban will remain in place. I wish you best of luck in your future gaming.

Caught again stealing parts & fuel from another player's vehicle. When confronted the second time, he refused to acknowledge the admin; continuing to do his own thing, culminating with him running away. Teleported back & locked the doors. Continued to try and get a response from him, without success. Banned for the second theft offense and refusing to comply with admin instruction.

I have noticed that the HQM quarry is still producing ore for me with no LGF in it. I am starting to wonder if there is a second LGF storage of some sort that is not visible, where the missing fuel went to & the quarry is now using that up?

Offender: Big Snag Server: AU Pure Time: 26th September 2021 @ 11:26pm AEST (1:36pm UTC) Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing. More Info (Optional): Big Snag & friend stole from 2 of their neighbours; cleaning them out, including taking the rhib. When confronted, Big Snag did not deny the theft, but refused to cooperate & return the items. I detected no remorse, and expected no correction of behaviour, so a permanent ban was issued. The 2 attached images are one for each of the bases (including sleepers) that were cleaned out.

Those photo galleries remind me of the time I did a "Stalker" photoshoot, where I took a picture of everyone while they were asleep (logged out) and put them up in the community centre. 99% of players said it was creepy. I guess the quote from the Police song 'Every breath you take' helped:

After posting a no stealing PSA translated into spanish, Bradkley was observed trying to get into another player's base. After being sent 2 in game messages in spanish to leave the base, Bradkley found, and accessed, an unlocked large storage box inside the base, located under a barred window. Bradkley was kicked & stolen items returned. Console warning (translated into spanish given), and Bradkley was teleported away from the base. Bradkley logged back in, and immediately returned to the same base & went for the same window again. After being told clearly by me NO, Bradkley stole the same items from the same box again. Bradkley banned as they clearly did not intend to follow the server rules, or try to understand what the problem was. There was no attempt at communicating with me.

Nothing lasts forever. Being an admin is a volunteer job, so there are no obligations to be online at set times, or for a minimum amount of time. That being said, however, it is expected to be online for a decent amount of time, or at least available to respond to in-server issues each month. But IRL obligations come first. After about 18 month's service as an admin on AU Pure, BadMan wanted a change of pace, and is now chilling out as an admin on AU Survival. Frit0 has family priorites, and has stepped back because she knows she cannot give the role the attention it needs right now. Maybe in the future she will return to the role, but that is her decision. jussy126 was always a planned temporary admin when numbers were short. Havok has full time uni studies, and felt it was unfair to remain an admin while not being able to contribute. _Brap_ lost interest in the game & drifted away. There still is Lt Dan, Butter, Squog, Predator, and myself as active admins, plus Leadership & cross admins. But sometimes an admin wants a break from the game, and won't be as active for a while. Better to have a break, than burn out. Currently, I am on the server right now; and have been for 6.5 hours straight today. I am a shift worker, so there are lots of times that I am not available. But usually I am always watching the server chat via BattleMetrics, and will respond if I am needed and am able. TLDR: The server & admin team will always be changing as new players join, and old players move on. It is the way of things. Sometimes for good, sometimes for bad, it is the normal way of life. There has been NO arguments within the admin team, some are just having a break.

Offender: YJSNPI810 BattleMetrics Steam Server: AU Pure Time: 22nd August 2021 @ 10:55am AEST (00:55am UTC) Length: Permanent Reason: Theft, and ignoring admin when spoken to about theft. More Info (Optional): Looted a sleeper, and stole 50k wood that the victim had just traded at the outpost for. Went back and looted the victim multiple times, over several days. Used the wood to build 2 base monstrosities. When confronted by admin (me), initially ignored me until I became forceful. Then said in easily understandable English in voice chat, that he doesn't speak English well. I told him about his theft and expected him to return the wood, but he ignored me & kept playing the game. I then used Google Translate to communicate with him in Japanese, which he continued to ignore, and hopped on a mini & flew away. Warned him to respond or he will be banned. He did not respond.

Hi NineFired, I am sorry, but your ban was enacted by the automated system, and I will not reverse it. The system was put in place, along with the ban lengths, by the server owner, and I am not about to change something the server owner put in place. It is an unfortunate situation, but nothing can be done now. Hopefully you can find a server that suits your needs, and hopefully you have a better appreciation about the importance of combating racism. Good luck in your future gaming.

Actually, that is not correct. You accessed you friend's bag twice, the second time to rename it. That was an intentional decision. As you can see, there is only the one sleeping bag.

I am sorry SomeMonkeysKill. The ban is from an automated system installed by Death on all servers. I cannot overturn, or change the ban for 3 reasons: 1) I am not about to create inconsistencies in ban durations, as this will cause a cascade of other players asking "if he can get the ban changed, why can't I?" and that will generate no end of headaches for the rest of the admin team having to deal with it. 2) All admins have been told very specifically from Leadership & Death (server owner) not to change automated server bans in any way. 3) I am not about to go over the head of the server owner. I prefer my head to remain attached to my shoulders. I personally agree with the zero tolerance stance on racism, so I agree the ban should remain as is. As for aNoNiM's comment, please refrain from posting pointless replies on threads that do not involve you. Comments as such do nothing but worsen an already delicate situation.

Sorry Derodan. I will not change a server racism ban duration. They are automatic & set in stone.
