They poop like ever 2-3 hours or something like that... but they don't last hours on the ground. So you need to be there like within 15-30 I think of it pooping. Don't quote the numbers, its a general idea.

Normally if you want to have skins added, you need to provide the link to the Rust workshop

Limiting the stacks to vanilla stacks in the TC would help reduce the large build on Scourge. The no decay or large stacks both independently allow you for larger builds. If you can only put vanilla stacks some of the huge structure would only last for a few hours. unless they plan and put multiple TCs and connect them. I do agree, you can't really change this mid-wipe as a large amount of active bases would decay. There should be a limit per player/team of planters, composters etc. There should also be a vanilla stack limit to food and berries. This would significantly slow down the abuse of farming as a meta. It's not possible to do some of the things being done here on a PVP server to this scale. Farms also get raided on there.

Why do you care so much about being banned from this server if you can't follow the rules? Move on

Probably shouldn't rename other people's bags regardless of racism or not. It's annoying as heck that people do that to begin with. Do that on vanilla servers. Put a bag down that has Oxim's or something and people rename it to something else

PVE means player VS environment. A scientist is part of the environment. So you would die from it unless you're in Godmode "true" on your own server as an admin/owner

If you can't maintain upkeep, it probably means your base is too big.

Wow System Temperature: 121 °C you got one hot potato on your hands!

Dude, you CPU is thermal throttling. The max sustainable temperature for an Intel CPU is 100 Celcius to my knowledge, so if you reach anywhere near that. the CPU lowers its Mhz. And I think your CPU should be base clock of 3.6GHz when healthy and yours is an average of just over 2Ghz. It will do this to allow you to continue using your CPU without it killing itself. It should also be using turbo boost at 4.2Ghz when gaming. Most of the times there are 3 possibilities, more frequently 1. Bad airflow/something blocking cooling vents. Could even be dust or hair build up. (could also be if computer is up against a heat source, like a furnace vent or heater) 2. You CPU fan, or cooling system such as a Water AIO are dead or unplugged. 3. Older systems may need to have old thermal paste under the heat sink removed and reapplied, the constant heat or even on and off heat can cause the thermal paste to dry our and bleed to the outer edge of the CPU. Option 4, is if I am caught offguard and this is a laptop, there are no good cooling solutions for laptops with that generation to give you good performance, Its normal for a laptop to hit 100C when gaming i suppose, not for a desktop, as it will have better airflow. Laptop will generally thermal throttle as part of their design. Buying a Laptop for gaming is like buying a minivan for racing at the track. It will never work good no matter what decals you put on the van. Your specs do show me it's a desktop. I see too many threads of people asking why their laptops throttle on forums/reddit FYI: I am Systems Analyst who specializes in Windows server, Subject matter expert for server performance monitoring in large enterprise environments. I am also Linux+ Certified so not a Windows Fanboy either. When they were first introduced, people would lag servers by launching hundreds. Getting raided? Launch a whole bunch with the flick of a switch and drop their FPS to 5

@Broon Khavar it was a feature before where lanterns, tuna can lamp as well as ceiling lights would use no fuel. It was disabled with the introduction of electricity to force people to use the electrical system to light their base. There were a lot of complaints on performance where people had dropping frames because they spammed tuna can lamps all over the place as well as lanterns. The orange warm glow looks nice. But 100+ tuna can lamps is kind of laggy.

I don't think you earned any loot by just doing pot shots at the heli. There are 4 crates on a tier 1 if I remember correctly 5 on a 2, and 6 on a tier 3. So if you did 25% damage to heli you would be entitled to 1 crate I imagine. Plus the percentage is not even calculated correctly because if you do rotor shots (on the tail and main rotor) it doesn't seem to be calculated correctly as the heli will go down faster but not be reflective of the overall total health. But that is a different story. A lot of the rules are pretty short and vague on RustEZ, they seem to be at the discretion of each admin, and seem to vary by RustEZ server as well.

So if you have your own server, why do you need an unban? You are probably going to be a bit busy running things over there, what is the point? For you to recruit players or to compare your server to this one? And by the way, there is a lot of custom plugins that don't exist elsewhere that runs on RustEZ, they don't necessary buy cookie cutter plugins, they are custom ones, that probably have lots of hours from the owner. Also you didn't seem to make an appeal or an apology, you just expect to be automatically unbanned after a period of 3 months when the ban says "Permanent"

EU Survival Reporting player Siggesatan for breaking rule "Be a decent human being" and bordering on looting and not apologizing for it. More screenshots available Upon request. For the full conversation ---Short version, I went to outpost with 1600 Scrap, bought water components for farm and researched them at outpost research bench. I didn't realize I left my scrap at the research bench. Left for bandit camp by mini, didn't have scrap the buy the sprinkler and Large planters. So I left and went back to outpost to find out someone took over 1000 scrap that I left by accident, for a very short time. ---Long version I was going to go build a Farm, so I brought my entire stack of scrap that was over 1600. To buy the missing water components from outpost and bandit camp. And research them on the way instead of doing the math to bring the correct amount. As soon as I bought the components from outpost I researched them with my entire stack that was over 1000 when I left it at the public research bench. I admit this was a mistake on my part. From some of his statements it seems the user watched me fly away on my mini from Outpost. I was heading to bandit camp to buy the rest the components. I did hear someone coming in as I was leaving. My friend sent me a trade request as soon as I landed at bandit camp so I can buy him 10 planters with 300 scrap he sent me, When I tried to buy myself 6 planters, I noticed I didn't have any scrap on me or in my backpack. Oh crap I think to myself, so I immediate rush to fly to outpost to get back to the research bench.. As soon as I approach outpost I see someone running away form the research bench area. Trying to get the players name. I lost track of the player as soon as I landed as the player would be behind me as I overshot almost destroying my mini. I immediately check the research bench, no scrap. So this whole ordeal is probably not much more than a minute. So I asked in chat if someone just took scrap from the outpost research bench. I don't get a reply as I continue to search Outpost for the player. I then ask for @admin in chat. So they can see who took it. Other than my friend, there are only 5 other players. But then I get a reply from Siggesatan. Keep in mind during this exchange I didn't know who took it the entire time until the end. I Was asking him if he stole it, after his statements. But he is trying to justify reasons he would be allowed all this time? That was why I was trying to rephrase the question each time I asked it. An analogy: It's as if he watched me drop a $100 bill from my wallet and waited for me to leave the store without telling me to pocket the $100. And as soon as I noticed I don't have the $100 bill he ran away as I was walking back into the store to look for my $100. And then argued it's my fault and he's entitled to the $100. Conclusion: Honestly I don't want the scrap back. Just show how this person is not following the rule of "Being a decent human being" Well if I would of seen someone just leave I would do the decent thing and say in chat, whoever just left Outpost by mini, come get your scrap in research bench. Not try to make all kinds of statements that the scrap is rightfully mine.

@Sararainmaker I think the point they are making is that not everyone can afford to pay for it. If it's free to everyone, it's going to be a bigger problem. I've bought them in the past and rarely do now. Not a financial problem, just give you too many resources too fast.

Pumpjacks+quarries make the game too easy. At least if you have only quarries that you need to farm the low grade from animals or buying the low grade from outpost with other resources it makes it more challenging. Having too many easily accessible resources, will not only affect the economy, everyone will have all the blueprints also everyone rich without farming anything on the server. But having access to unlimited resources mean more huge bases that make people drop frames and complain about server/client performance. Having more pumpjacks and quarries running 24/7 with refineries and furnaces going all the time does make it lag. When the servers reboots for instance the refineries and furnaces turn off so that skews your calculation. I seen it in the bug logs for RustEZ as a fact this was implemented. I say no thank you, if at all I would prefer if the pumpjacks would be taken out entirely. It would nerf the quarries, and put everyone on the same playing field if that is what you are looking for. Some people all they do is log in and move their stuff in the quarries. But I am sure this won't happen.

And I agree with SCE_Wraith the problem is more than likely a problem your end. I have played US RustEZ Scourge, not interested in playing there. Too much drama, can never do heli or brad or cargo, or oil rigs, as too many people lined up. Also your comment about allowing other players to do heli? Lag was an issue in pookie town before electricity was a thing, but they were also spamming tuna can lamps. Running your game in potato tells the game that you don't have a graphics card and forces to use more CPU. Rust is already a CPU bound game. You will see a massive difference in intel vs AMD as Rust prefers single CPU performance, as per Allistair(Facepunch dev) . Ryzen users have a tendency to complain more about Rust performance because of latency issues. My game normally runs at 150-195FPS. when I get frame drops on a slow server or huge builds it drops to 110-130. And I play at 1080P with graphics set to 6, I only have a GTX 1070 waiting on RTX 3000 series. But I have the top of the line gaming CPU, that gave me a huge FPS boost in Rust, since it's a CPU bound game so made the huge difference.

You explain that people have to take time to setup a complicated electrical system, to save FPS on your computer. But you can't be bothered to type again or copy paste text properly. It's not really sending the right message. It takes more effort to setup a day/night electrical system with a solar panel and blocker than it is to copy paste. Plus they would need to do this every month. What I don't get is how do you know it's not the lights and the fact there are a lot of build blocks. You do not have the ability to shut off all the lights from other people to know the lights would have an impact or not.
-
Ive never had issues of people's lights lagging. Not quite sure it's the lights how can you tell unless you had the ability to turn them all off? It's more than likely your computer or your connection The other problem is it might be a client side issue, such as you settings on shadows etc. Or your computer is not fast enough to play Rust in a densly populated areas. Not sure how you are going to get people to add complexity to their electricity setup when you are too lazy to highlight text and copy paste to be honest.

investigating Increase zombie population at night : 3 or event
aNoNiM replied to BoneDaddy's topic in Suggestions
One of the issues that Facepunch has not resolved client side it seems still. If you have a miner's hat, weapon flashlight or a combo of both+ the glowing eyes of the zombies. It disconnects you at night and you could die from the zombie, you spawn and you don't see where your dead body is and you have no option to revive. You sometimes have to go find your bag. It was a reason why the nights were not extended by too much, increasing population too much can have that negative effect more. -
Maybe I need to update this now. The price at bandit camp is 750. It was originally 1500 on staging branch when I made the comment. Iv'e seen quite the reduction in Mini usage, but still see it and use it myself. igor, if you want we can organize some flying lessons to help you. I thought a few people. But it does make it more expensive now to try and learn to fly. I know there are flying school servers just like there are aim training servers. But we can't promote 3rd party servers here I suppose
-
I've been on servers where they have harder bot NPC. They don't seem to keep populations. People pretty much spawn in and curse and log out. We have to pretty much escort them as other players so they can make a base and store their loot. and have a bag etc.

Reporting player for engaging heli from another person's base
aNoNiM replied to aNoNiM's topic in Ban/Mute Appeals
Another shot showing my heli tower, the heli shot him when it ran low from an angle from the side/rear. I couldn't tell what it shot at when it shot the rockets, because I use armored windows. I could not see the base from my windows, only the heli firing rockets in that area
