  1. This has been spoken about internally in the past and still gets brought up time to time, it comes down to how it will be managed so that it doesn't impact normal game play. If it does eventually get implemented then we will most likely only allow the Head admin of the server to create and manage locations.

  2. This is already a feature on our Survival servers. Our survival servers are built on the concept of automation and after the industrial update additional containers had the ability to attached adaptors to them on our Survival server to still keep it unique. I suggest if you haven't already to try our Survival servers if automation is your thing.

  3. In my opinion I don't think it's necessary as it gives a player a destination to travel to and would only be an issue on our Pure servers that don't have the ability to teleport to Outpost or Bandit. Also from my time on all 3 server types I see players create their own little rest hubs outside their builds where they share T1,T2,T3 and other benches for the community to use so it might be worth looking out for them.

  4. The plan is to move our Pure servers back to the community server list and by doing that it will go back to its raw PvE form. Information sessions on progress are held on our discord so please make sure to watch the #announcements and #alerts channels for updates regarding these changes.

  5. I'm all for net worth being used to buy skins, I personally would like to see both official and community skins cost something to use net worth up and then reset it every wipe. I know by having them all listed in game is convenient and easy for players to access but having a system like you mentioned by browsing the workshop, getting the ID and entering it into a GUI will eliminate most of the junk skins.

For workshop skins if someone adds a skin then it could stay in the database for 3 months, if that skin doesn't get purchased again within that 3 months then its removed from the database until its added again. I believe this will keep the popular skins in the database and keep loaded skins at a reasonable level.

Released skins can remain in the database but as mentioned should also cost some net worth to unlock them for use.

  6. I agree with Postanou, I've been around long enough to see the many changes to net worth over the years and the effects it's had on the economy. I do like the competitiveness aspect of a leaderboard but as net worth currently is I do not think it fits. I have known players recently make 25+ million in a single wipe with their (as you call it) scrap farms and then never spend 90% of it, then in the new wipe go bigger just to see if they can get more than their last wipe.

In my opinion if this was to be implemented I would like to see net worth wiped every 1 - 3 months to remove the redundant stock piles.

  7. Not sure if it's possible to adjust the sounds for specific things, to my knowledge creators use what has already been added by Facepunch. If a model was used from the asset library but no part of the current vanilla gameplay it may not have the same propertise hence the quietier sounds. But I'm only assuming this and someone like @Raul might be able to answer if its possible.

  8. With the last update Facepunch might have something happening in the last 24 hours that might be somewhat along the lines of what you are asking for, we will just have to wait and find out.

  9. Thanks for your feedback and hopefully I can shine some light on a few of the things you mentioned. The changes we make from Facepunch vanilla form are to help create a better PvE experience as Facepunch version is tailored towards PvP. Since we have a wide spectrum of play styles it’s not always easy to please everyone.

Loot from Helicopters and Bradleys bought from the shop has diminishing returns. The loot you used to get is not as good as it once was.

Loot is based on Facepunch, though we have made changes to the stacks sizes of ammo, rockets and some other items this was done when instancing was brought in. It was to minimise groups from gaining to much to fast, unfortunately it doesn’t favour solo players but these events are designed to do in groups.

Pumpjacks (both Public and Store Bought), produce at least 50% less Low Grade, than what we usually got, meaning that it's no longer worth buying things from the RustEZ store.

To clarify they do not produce 50% less they still produce 1:1 (1 lgf > 1 crude) but the rate at which it’s processed has been slowed down.

Animals being removed from the server. Now I get this may be to do with server performance, but this has impacted quality of life for some of us.

This as you have said is to help performance. They do get turned on every now and then, however when we can guarantee no performance hits they will come back.

Farming, for example Hemp, doesn't seem to be profitable anymore. Now we're spending more time farming, than actually getting to play the game.

I can’t think of anything we have done to nerf farming it’s what ever facepunch have changed in relation to rates. If it’s the over sized stacks from vendors you are referring to then our solution is far better than the vanilla one facepunch nerfed it to a while back.

When we first joined the server, there also used to be Raidable Bases, but again, maybe due to server performance issues, they got removed as well.

Our version just became outdated over time but works on a new version is on the list to be done. Unfortunately due to the many performance hits we have had a lot of the time has been diverted towards having stable servers to play on. I can’t give a ETA on when though.

again thanks for your feedback as we will review this when making changes to better our servers

  10. Hi The.Demon.Grim

The decision to issue a ban was not taken lightly. It was the result of a careful evaluation of your behavior and actions on our servers, including discussions with other members of Leadership. It was found that you had engaged in repeated instances of player disrespect, which manifested into toxic arguments in global chat. Furthermore, your recent behavior is what ultimately brought us to the conclusion that you are not adjusting your behavior to fit in with our community.

Regarding the specific incident of player disrespect that led to your ban, our investigation revealed that you engaged in a personal attack on another player in global chat. It is important to note that the target of your attack has to this day never logged into the server you described during the altercation, nor had they even joined the EZ community at that point. This false accusation violated our server rules, which prohibit any form of player disrespect or harassment, in this case by naming a specific player and telling everyone they were the reason you gave up your role.

However, that alone is not what led to the ban, your ban was implemented due to multiple instances of player disrespect, including engaging in toxic arguments in global chat over the last 12 months and recently griefing another player's building. These actions were in clear violation of our server rules, which aim to foster a respectful and enjoyable gaming experience for all players.

We take these matters seriously as they not only create a toxic atmosphere but also harm the overall gaming experience for our community members. Our primary goal is to foster a positive and inclusive environment where all players can enjoy the game without fear of personal attacks or false accusations.

We encourage you to reflect on your past interactions and consider their impact on others within the community. While we acknowledge your long-standing presence on our servers and your support through store purchases, it is crucial for us to maintain consistency in enforcing our rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable environment for all players. We understand that this outcome may be disappointing for you, but it is crucial for us to maintain the integrity of our community and ensure the best possible experience for all players.
