More Info (optional):  Player was found having looted another player by accessing their base through base exploits. When confronted they continued to deny it and claim they didn't know what I was talking about. I explained that admins are able to see loot logs, giving them undeniable proof that a player has accessed a container. He still tried to deny having done it and then suicided and logged. Player has been banned for 30 days to learn the server rules and understand that they are strictly upheld.

After these two warnings, the player still chose to access another players base and loot them. Ban implemented to prevent further disruption to the server.

Thanks for taking the time to make an appeal.

Your friends ban and yours are completely unrelated, so I will not be addressing that in this forum. I noticed the sign on your base as we were next to it when I came over to confront your friend. I politely asked you to change the sign as it goes against RustEZ's stance on politics. Rather than comply, you spent 5 minutes trying to argue with me and kept saying "its just white and black on a sign" I kept asking you to change the sign and let you know that admins aren't here to argue the rules, but to uphold them. You followed this up with "So what, you're gonna ban be for a sign?" I replied that if you refused to comply with server rules, there are consequences. You replied "then I guess you'll have to ban me. its just a sign".

Considering your disregard for the rules, and attempt to bluff your way out of the ban, it will not be lifted. Spend the next 30 days reviewing the server rules and I hope to see you back as a wonderful member of the server.

As you can see here, you were not banned just for looting, but for repeatedly breaking server rules even after admins had given you multiple warnings and repeatedly tried to explain the server rules to you. You'll also see that this is your second ban from the RustEZ community. Every time admins tried to explain the server rules you were repeatedly dismissive, in fact during your final conversation on the server, I personally was trying to explain the rules to you when you said this:

and immediately left the server before finishing our conversation.

Considering the repeated dismissive attitude towards admins, the server rules, the number of infractions and the fact that this was your second RustEZ ban, I've determined that it will not be lifted.

I wish you luck in finding another server more suited to your playstyle.

More Info (optional):  Player was verbally and console warned at 11:25 PM for harassing another player, following them around and trying to loot from them. They acknowledged that they understood the rules as I explained them. 8 minutes after being warned, they proceeded to do the exact same thing to another player and when that player accidentally DC'd, they looted them and the recycler they had been using.

Filled all 3 quarries completely before logging yesterday, today they're all completely empty.

I've been leaving 1 LGF in each of the quarries over night to keep track of this. Last night the sulfur quarry lost its inventory, the other two were fine.

Last few times I've completely filled the quarries they've been empty when I check back a couple days (IRL) later.

They then apologized and said they understood. Less than 5 minutes after we had this discussion they continued to access other player's bases and loot them.

I have to say, I was quite disappointed finding your name on another players things, especially since it had been only a couple hours after you asked for my help after going through the same thing. I'm willing to reduce the ban from permanent to 10 days, giving you 3 more days before being able to rejoin the server. Understand that this is your last chance to follow the rules, and any further infractions will result in an immediate and permanent ban that will not be lifted.

I highly suggest you use the next few days to familiarize yourself with our rules and reach out to an admin either on the forums, through private message on the website or in the server discord if you would like clarification on anything. The RustEZ rules are as follows:

You only have about 50 odd minutes on the server and you absolutely did not start off on the right foot. Understand that no matter what your circumstances are out of the game, everyone is coming here to have fun and relax.

Within 30 minutes of joining the server, both players accessed another players base. During this time I was watching and posted multiple PSAs about looting. I popped in to have a chat with them, one of them returned what they stole and the other began yelling into the mic. I explained this would be their one and only warning for looting, explained the server rules, and advised them on where to locate them. 2 minutes after this discussion both players entered the same base I caught them in previously. Both have been banned for an obvious disregard to the server rules.

Player logged in and immediately began looting any open bases they could find. They entered the open base of another player that was online and began attempting to despawn their items. I came in and tried talking to the player, they stopped to look at me and then continued to try to despawn things. As I was trying to explain the rules they tried to run away while using the items they stole in an effort to prevent them from being returned to the player. Due to the severity of the infraction and the refusal to listen to admins nor comply with server rules, the player has been permanently banned to keep from interrupting with the gameplay of other players.

Player waited for another player to open the loot room at satellite dish. Upon the door being opened they rushed in and looted everything in the room. The player that opened the room attempted to talk to the to explain that is considered stealing and is against the rules but they ignored them. I came in and tried to have the same conversation with the player. They kept repeating that another player did it to them yesterday when an admin wasn't on and they didn't catch the players name and nothing was done about it so "fair is fair". I repeatedly tried to explain that two wrongs don't make a right and looting under any circumstances is not allowed but they refused to cooperate and return the items. A 5 day ban has been issued to allow the player time to review the rules and reflect on their actions.

Immediately after they received the warning they asked for a 1-on-1 conversation about it, during which I fully explained the rules. They apologized and said they didn't know it was against the rules and gave some of what they had stolen back. After I pointed out they were still wearing the other things they stole, they returned that as well. One hour after we had this conversation, the player went on to loot another player through their window bars. This player obviously has a complete disregard for the server rules and therefore has been banned to prevent further disruption to others gameplay.

Today I was made aware of a player who thought their base had been purged, upon investigating however, it revealed that this player along with their teammate looted and completely demolished another players base. Considering both players have not only been warned about the rules, but know them from the time they had been looted, it's obvious they do not intend to follow the rules of the server and therefore have been banned.

Quarries appear to still be clearing their inventories upon either restart or server crash. I'm not sure which the more recent one was caused by since the restart happened a few hours after the most recent crash on US Pure.
