  1. A player on EU Scourge BM is adamant that they had enough upkeep to last until wipe, claiming that they checked the upkeep in the tool cupboard just last night but upon logging in today the base was completely gone. No evidence of foul play in BM logs and nothing remains in game to give evidence of what happened.

  2. There's been another instance of this happening. In all cases it appears the players have teleported home from a safe zone and not stood up, leading me to believe the safe zone status is not being removed until the player stands up.
This is much like teleporting a sleeper out of a safe zone if they ask to be moved on discord, 20 minutes after they disconnect the server deletes their player. In the cases of teleporting, it's 20 minutes after they teleport as they still have the safe zone status, this also causes their client to disconnect when their player is deleted.

  3. If you watch my video in the report I linked above you can see the issue is caused by the amount of scrap in the stack in the buyers inventory, the amount of available space in the vending machine is irrelevant, if the buyer has a stack over stack limit and makes a purchase for over stack limit then the scrap will drop on to the floor. Someone buying out all your LGF to run quarries/buy diesel/sell for networth would not be uncommon as it's a direct increase in networth gained and there's plenty of players with more than enough scrap to do so.

  4. Hi guys, this has been an on going issue for a while now and the only way to avoid it is to limit the amount of stock you put into the vending machines or reduce the price so that someone can not make a purchase with a scrap value over stack limit.
If someone has a stack of say 19k scrap from selling hqm to bandit and makes a purchase over 10k then the vending machine doesn't accept the scrap and it gets dropped on the floor.
Here's another report with a video too showing issue.

  5. Hi Corujão, It looks like you joined the wrong server after the restart.
RustEZ as a network has 9 servers, there is a scourge, survival and pure server in each of the 3 regions, AU, EU and US.
I can see you were playing on US scourge for a significant amount of hours and then after the scheduled restart you joined US Pure, EU survival and EU Scourge.
As long as you had upkeep in your TC on US Scourge, everything should still be there.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion.

  6. Each of your offline deaths are logged as suicide by suicide suggesting this is the monument killing you when the loot respawns.
I checked around your base and 1 edge goes right up to the build block restriction from the abandoned military base, I even put down a small shack the other side of your base between you and your neighbour to see if it would still kill slightly further away and it does.

All we can really suggest is to log out naked with an empty inventory like dave said so you don't lose anything in the event of it happening again and to build a bit further away from monuments in the future.

I do find it strange though that for over a week you've had no offline deaths while there and now in the last 2 days you've had 5.

  7. I've actually looked back through many of the reports of this since it re-occurred and have found a common trend in a lot of the video evidence, in most cases the vending machine had sufficient space to receive full payment but the payment was being made with stacks greater than stack limit and in these cases where the payment was greater than stack limit in the buyers inventory (eg selling hqm to bandit to get a stack greater than stack limit then using the scrap to buy something) the scrap would fall out onto the floor regardless of the available space in the vending machine.

Seems like this would be tied to containers not being able to accept stacks greater than stack limit after the mega stack nerf.

  8. There was a few spawnable rock/cliff prefabs introduced this wipe for things like this. If you open the f1 console and type "spawn" followed by 1 of the following you'd be able to block it off without using traditional building pieces.

    admin_cliff_low_arc
    admin_cliff_medium_arc_arid_small
    admin_rock_clutter_medium_d
    admin_rock_formation_medium_a
    admin_rock_formation_small_c

  9. I made a support ticket on the facepunch website a couple of days ago and have had the following response.
"-Go to "device manager" on Windows and update all audio drivers.
-Go to your Windows sound settings through control panel and disable all playback devices you're not using"
Drivers were all up to date, disabled a couple of playback devices that were not being used like my monitor and this has fixed the issue.
