Request to ban player Sidereal due to antisocial behavior
Rohan replied to TerenceHill06's topic in Ban/Mute Appeals
The situation seems to have resolved itself. The player has left the server on their own. A note has been made regarding this player for now. Kind regards Rohan EU Scourge admin team- 1 reply

More than likely you've turned Global Chat off in Rust settings. Have a look and see if that's the case. Issues like this are also best posted as a Help ticket, or asked on the Discord for a faster response. Kind regards.

Please unban from EU THE SHIRE PVE, no decay, kill,, raid, mensual
Rohan replied to euskalChrox's topic in Ban/Mute Appeals
We are not the administrators or owners of EU the Shire. Please find the correct website or forum from that server owner. Use google or ask around in the official Rust Discord server. Kind regards RustEZ admin team -
Multiple reports of players losing LGF or Crude after a restart on EU Scourge. Looters isn't giving any results of theft. 1 thing they have in common is that they're not covered by a TC. Those with Building Priv coverage seem to be fine. PJs weren't picked up after discovering the loss, so logs weren't deleted.

Thank you for appealing. Your ban was placed after discovering a racist sign saying "N****** Raus" in the database with only your Playername and unique SteamID attached to it. Like this example: The sign was deleted and a ban implemented as per protocol. With the current cancel culture in the world, racism in all aspects of society is being closely scrutinized. While we do understand that it still heavily permeates music, comedy, movies, and other media, it is something we do not feel is appropriate to have in our servers. Words such as what were used on your account, are not welcome in any context wether in chat or painted on signs. This is plainly stated on the server's loading screen before you enter. Additionally, this is also stated on Facepunch's Terms of Service. https://support.facepunchstudios.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007485418-Banned-for-Racism-Homophobia Here are resources that you can explore to learn more: guidetoallyship.com https://guidetoallyship.com/ Anti-Racism Glossary https://www.rwjbh.org/why-rwjbarnabas-health-/ending-racism/anti-racism-glossary/ Anti-Racism Resources https://www.rwjbh.org/why-rwjbarnabas-health-/ending-racism/anti-racism-resources/ The ban will not be lifted. You are solely responsible for what happens on your account. We wish you the best of luck.

Raidable bases plugin isn't up for consideration as Death wants all his plugins to be made inhouse. 🤷â€â™‚ï¸ As for the player raiding their own base, please re-read. 🙂 "a script of some sort that allows others (except the one who sold it to prevent double earning of networth)" Ownership has to be removed exactly for that reason, though more ways to exploit it might happen. it doesn't have to have all sorts of fluff and special effects from the start. This is just to tide things over until something more solid can be developed. This theoretically just runs on stuff that's already there.

I know that the latest we heard on this, Death wants to create something like a custom monument. Until something like that can be done, there is a simpler (coding wise) way to entertain players looking for something to raid. Theoretically it should be possible to scan all the items within a TC protected building privilige area for their total value in Networth. Allow players to sell their base, including all present sellable black market items to enable a script of some sort that allows others (except the one who sold it to prevent double earning of networth) to do damage to that base. In short, the items in the base will remain, the seller will just get the value in Networth (possibly discounted to say 75% or 50% of the value you'd get if you sold everything 1 by 1.) Basically what I envision is the following: Player hits the "Enable Raid" option added to the TC menu. A script will run to calculate the value of networth inside the TC's loot protection area. The seller verifies he wants to enable and gets say 50% of the Networth value, and gets locked out of the base, removing authorizations for them and any others authorized, and allowing other players to damage and loot it. (Should work with some of the coding from the old plugin that allowed players to damage those Garrisons, but not player bases, possibly the builder's ID will have to be removed from the entities placed) An announcement will show in global chat: "Player 'insert playername' has enabled Raiding on their base in Grid X# valued at $##### credits! Get going!" Players will try their best to raid the hell out of it. Fun all around. In addition, the same script could be added to the 7 day Inactivity Purge. Once the 7 full days are up, the base becomes raidable. (The discounted networth value could potentially be added to the inactive player's account) The above will most likely inspire others to build nice bases and fill it up with loot for others to raid. It should also help a lot with player retention. I'd love to hear what others think of this idea.😊 Kind regards, Rohan of EU Scourge

Yes, but no. But also yes. Maybe, but maybe also yes or no. Yes? Context and situation is important for the interpretation and reaction. In most cases looting a room someone else opened would be griefing, but not always. If it becomes a discussion, it's up to the active admin(s) to make a judgement call, and for that you need to weigh the facts. My reaction just explains the difficulty with that in those cases, though our competent admins usually work out satisfactory solutions in my experience. 😊

It's one of those things that are incredibly hard to moderate, as each situation can differ. It's usually not as black and white as it seems. There is no strict interpretation of rules regarding card rooms. In theory, a duo could be running the whole rig. Killing all scientists, opening the green and blue card rooms, and then suddenly someone flies over and opens the red card room and yoinks the locked crate. That also negatively impacts the duo's fun. The above is just one example out of dozens. For us admins, we try to appeal on the players themselves to cooperate and share. It's a community server with hundreds of different players and a limited amount of monuments . Interacting with others is a big part of it. Sometimes you can take it all, sometimes you have to share and sometimes you have to take a deep breath, accept a loss and try again later. If a situation turns heated you can ask an admin to mediate, but if there is only fingerpointing and no clear evidence to back up either story, there won't be much an admin can do. Hope this clears it up a bit. If you have more general questions it is best to ask them in #General in the Discord chat. You can get input from players and admins alike.

Only the name was banned. If you change your Steam name and restart Steam and Rust so the change goes through, you can login just fine.

Currently Scraphelicopters can't be picked up with Salvaged Hammer after being thrown. The new attackhelicopter blows up after a single hit with a salvaged hammer.

Agree to the above. Or hide it in another menu like /shop or /skin 🙂

Admin privs allows to mount the driverseat and driving it after putting in the code. Tested accessing with my normal player Alt-Account.
-
Players are unable to enter cars drivers seats despite knowing the codelock codes. They can only mount them after placing a codelock themselves. Removing the codelock altogether does nothing to change that. Players can access the passenger seat, but they get stuck if they use X to attempt to switch seats. This forms a problem for the players that roleplay as a Car dealership, and the players wishing to buy cars. It's a lot of hassle to be able to access cars this way. Knowing the code should allow access to the drivers seat as well.

A suggestion for the difficulty: Have the zombies increase in durability/strength the longer they remain alive. At least so they remain a challenge for the players with full endgame kits as well. The ones near the spawn coast get killed relatively fast, so it shouldn't prove too hard for new spawns to make their way, but the ones at the opposite coastlines/dirt paths tend to be left alone after the first week of wipe. This should increase the difficulty a bit without causing extra strain on the server by having more zombies spawn. Just an idea. Not sure if it's been suggested before, I couldn't find any mention at least.

Hello, I checked the logs we have for that, and can confirm your story. I've undone your ban. You will be able to join the server again should you decide to in the future. Be sure to refresh yourself on the rules by typing /rules in chat to see what's allowed and what isn't. Kind regards, -=Rohan=-

not authorized to pick up Deluxe Xmas Lights purchased from black market
Rohan commented on Rosemary Mint's bug in Issues
Seems to also be bugged in the January wipe. Players can't pick them up after placing them on EU Scourge. -
Happy Holidays and a hopefully healthy and happy New Year for all. 💠😊 also, EU Scourge is #1 RustEZ server. â¤ï¸ðŸ˜ˆ

Noticed that the Bandit Camp guards are shooting at immortal zombies all day long. The zombies around the camp have safezone immortality. Kindly make it so the Safezone status isn't added to Zombies. As it is now, it's an ear-sore to walk into BC. Kind regards, -=Rohan=- EU Scourge

Perhaps having an decay-increase every other day or every week would decrease base sizes and therefore entities as well. Now you only have to farm wood/stone for a single day to have enough upkeep for the rest of wipe if you build an average sized base. It'll force the lazy/casual players to build more modestly and it'll get rid of abandoned twig bases sooner as well. Can also be done per week I suppose. Example rates: Week 1: 100% vanilla decay, week 2: 200%, week 3: 350% week 4: 500%. Just an idea on this topic.
