Removing Flame Turret with salvaged hammer causes it to explode (with or without LGF). The explosion doesn't cause player/base damage but the resulting fire does. Damaging the flame turret to 0 (tested with jackhammer and MGL) is same result.

Yeah try adding elevation to increase the distance (i.e. sniper tower) -
Correction: It is only the first time on server. Same issue happened when I joined EU Scourge tonight. I entered on the beach (standing no sleep state) with game tip showing. Was immediately killed by a zombie and when I hit respawn I did parachute in. Here is the log from EU:

When I'm grocery shopping and stand in the pickle section --- I'm imagining everyone in the aisle chugging and puking the dills.

New spawn & respawn on AU Scourge has players starting on the beach. The blue game tip for how to guide the chute is displayed.
