  2. I'm a little confused because this is already a thing, just click the chat icon next to the voice channel and it will open up a chat channel specific for the voice channel.
  3. Thank you, I'm wondering if its a population issue since they are increased on Elysium. I have added it to the task board for Death to look into.
  4. This is no switch just the fuse holder, however on Survival the fuse does not link to the door properly and therefore doesn't light up the green card door. If after the next map update doesn't fix it then we may just remove the door in question.
  5. We are not really limited and can usually adapt a event to the terrain/map, so it doesn't really hinder an admins ability to run them in that aspect. As Postanou mention most of the event ideas you have mentioned already take place with some of them run each wipe, the only ones I have not seen yet are the harbor take over and Rock climbing. What is an issue sometimes is the set up, and take down which can take a bit of time depending on the event that is being run. If I was looking for a dedicated events map then I would want it tailored for events, meaning custom map with zones that already have event stages set up. For example if you have ever participated in charitable rust that is the kind of map I would be looking for, pre built race tracks, arenas, galleries, sideshow games and the list goes on. This however is not an easy task to set up but with the growth in map makers this might be plausible in the future. So its not a bad idea and I think admins would love it, however one of the purposes of running events is to draw players to servers and increase player numbers on those servers. Having a dedicated map draws players away and doesnt give them that chance to expirence our other servers.
  6. I can confirm this has now been fixed in the latest hotfix by Facepunch. You will need to update your client for it to take effect. Rust #hotfix-changelog We've released an optional client update. • Fixed modular car (and others) blacked out windows.
  7. I'm guessing you are using the bind bind <key> chat.say /backpack this is why it's now always showing the hint because there is a new shorter alias for that command. If you change it to /b then the message would go away. However the best practice bind for backpack is. bind <key> backpack this will also remove the message from always popping up
  8. This is a facepunch bug introduced in the latest release. We are going to have to wait until they release a fix for it.

  12. I agree with you on this a drop down for connect should have the compare listed. It may have been overlooked or still a work in progress but something I believe should be easily accessible @Death

  15. I think this is a long outstanding bug of Facepunch. I can't remember the last time or ever that I required a fuse to open any of those doors.

  17. Thanks Angie I can confirm that the current state does not match what is listed in the FAQs. Tested: Owner not hitting the heli = Can not loot (no message comes up in chat to say they can not loot) Owner hits the heli but does not meet min requirments = same as above Owner hits heli and does the min dmage = can loot with others that met the requirments
  18. I will need to come onto US Survival as I'm not getting this issue on AU Survival with multiple tests there. As for the log you posted, that only shows the inventory of the players that were killed by force nothing to do with the loot boxes.
  19. We are aware that the issue may have been present from last wipe but more noticeable this wipe. It’s been looked into now.
  20. You are right it is probably due to the fact it’s not a standard launch site on Elysium. I’ll forward it on to see if there is a fix or at minimum get the signal removed from the black market so no one has to waste networth on them.

  22. This is not a bug just an undesired effect of the salvage hammer, it has come up many times before. We don't see it as a huge issue as its far quicker to farm wood through other methods eg. good old axe to tree. Thanks for reporting it though.
  23. Our subscriber server Elysium has a plugin that might be something that will spark an interest to you. Its Defendable Bases where hoards attack and you need to defend them off, there is enough of a challenge to them that you might want to think about recruiting some help.
  24. It is a lovely map and by the sounds of it Facepunch will be holding a competion for map creators to have a chance to have their work take its place. I would however also love to play the Hapis map again but this time not having players mow me down constantly the custom NPCs on the other hand will have a field day.

My concern with this is a further drop in player interactions, since the release of them in bandit and outpost I've already noticed a drop of players running around the map to buy something from a players vender. I myself enjoy running to a vendor and seeing the fantastic builds players have and chatting to anyone I see along the way. Sometimes doing things manually pays off bigger in the long run.
