this incident had nothing to do with a sign, if it did it would have been a manual ban by a member of the admin team, and generally signs that break the rules would only be a warning (with a couple exceptions that are immediately bannable)

hello @cernr_ i would like to start off by making note that we are not allowed to discuss player bans with anyone beyond the admin team and the banned player, however what i can say is that if this is in relation to [REDACTED]'s ban, what you're being told is not what actually happened, and it was 100% legitimate, and 100% content created by that player at the time the autoban trigger happened. Appeals for that type of language ARE accepted from time to time, however in the players appeal post, instead of being sincere and giving us a reason to consider the appeal, they attempted to downplay the situation by lying about what actually happened. While we appreciate character witnesses, we can only consider the circumstances surrounding the incident when making a decision on a ban appeal. thank you for your understanding! -A3

it looks like you used F7 report, those reports go to facepunch and do not always alert the server admins unless they're actively watching the server at the time. For quicker response times we're generally watching #help on discord, or if you catch an admin in game taggin them with @(theirname) in global chat an asking for help i've passed your help request on to your admin team, so hopefully you recieve a response soon!

we are generally unable investigate lag complaints unless it's reported to us or we stumble across it naturally during gameplay, which doesnt always get a chance to happen. From that point it can be a days up to week long process of verifying lag with other admins, and working with the base owner(s) to make modifications that will be less impactful, so please keep in mind that (post report) just because you may not see anything being done immediately, that doesnt mean that nothing's being done

Offender: Text<colo Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 12:08 AM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing More Info (Optional): After logging into the server to investigate a twigging incident, i had found that Text was actively twigging onto another players base after being asked to stop. Text was kicked at this time with the message "read the rules and rejoin" as well as sent a console warning advising them of our rules regarding twigging onto other players bases and griefing. Alongside this incident, i also found another base text had twigged onto as well as a base text entered without permission, took TC auth, and locked the TC on the base owner. After returning from this kick, Text proceeded to swim out to an island base and use exploits to enter the players compound where text stole food from the players chicken coop(s) and began to eat all of it. Text was warned at this time regarding our rules on stealing as well as urged to type /rules in chat to prevent future infractions or possibly receive a ban. After their second warning, text respawned themselves and immediately came upon a base with a couple rhibs in their boat garage. Text went to the neighbor's refinery which had a small amount of lowgrade in it and stole it, bringing it back and entering one of the rhibs they saw earlier and attempting to drive away with one of that players RHIB's. at this time, given the intentional ignoring of server rules and the impact on our community, text was issued a permanent ban for their actions.

Offender: Fungushumongous Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 11:33PM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): on 9/3/24 Fungus was warned for griefing after twigging onto 7+ bases, in addition to accessing any containers in bases he was able to enter, authorizing on TC's that werent their own, and locking players doors in an attempt to take over bases that werent theirs. Fungus was urged to type /rules in chat to become familiar with the server rules so that they may continue to play as an upstanding member of our community. on 9/10 Fungus was again found to have twigged onto another players base and accessed containers within that base. Fungus was warned a second time for griefing and stealing, and again fungus was asked to type /rules in chat to become familiar with the rules on our server, as any further instances of griefing could result in a ban from our servers. on 2/26/2025 while cruising around the map, i noticed that Fungus had twigged significantly onto a base that wasnt their own. Given their repeated history of these same exact infractions, and that they continue to brush off our server rules in order to maintain a toxic state of gameplay that's abusive to the community, a permanent ban has been placed on their account.

Offender: i want to greif you Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 10:58PM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): The player joined the server and immediately went to one of the first bases they saw and began twigging onto it. A warning was sent notifying them that twigging onto another players build is griefing and against the rules of our server. The player was urged to type /rules in chat to bring up the server rules and become familiar with them. Shortly after the previous warning the player returned to the base they had twigged onto earlier and stole the base owners scrap heli. i want to greif you was kicked with the message "read the rules and rejoin" and sent another console warning letting them know that stealing is against the rules, including players modes of transportation. The console warning included a second reminder to type /rules in chat to bring up the server rules so they could continue playing on our server. i want to greif you was moved to the hobo hut to protect their sleeper/loot and remove them from the base owners they were previously griefing. After returning from their kick, i want to grief you immediately left the hobo hut and began to place twig on it, at which point it became clear the player had no interest in playing on our server as a rule abiding member of the community, and a permanent ban was placed on their account to prevent further griefing of other players on our server.

Offender: Atraxz br Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 1:55PM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): on 5/15/24 Atraxz was warned along with their teammate for entering another players base via exploit and stealing a significant amount of items as well as the players mini helicopter and crashing it. Atraxz was sent a console warning outlining our rules regarding theft including typing /rules in chat to become familiar with our server rules to prevent breaking them in the future on 2/12 atraxz was warned along with their teammate for blocking the mouth of a river and given 24 hours to make modifications to their build so they can continue with the wipe and their base how they'd like, on their terms. Atraxz and their teammate immediately became combative in chat insisting that they were being targeted unfairly and that their neighboring bases blocking the river hadnt been warned. After being explained that we do not show favoritism to any players, and that the rules are applied evenly across the board, atraxz and their teammate began to destroy their own base and eventually rage quit the server. Atraxz and their teammate returned a short while later, and continued to play the game, however i was eventually notified by another player that the area atraxz base was located in was now covered by foundations. After teleporting to the area to confirm this, it was also noted that atraxz and their teammate had surrounded some bases with walls and foundations, twigged onto other players bases in the area, destroyed at least one players base, and laddered onto it. Given the severity and retaliatory nature of this griefing, over a relatively minor issue such as riverway blocking a permanent ban was placed on their account to avoid them coming back and causing more severe disruption to our community.

Offender: ☯۞SON-CFBR1۞☯ﾠツ Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 1:55PM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): on 5/15/24 the player had entered another players base via exploits with their teammate and stole numerous items from within the base as well as stealing the players mini heli and crashing it. Player was warned at that time in english and spanish that stealing is not allowed on our servers and they should type /rules inn chat to bring up the server rules and become familiar with them. on 2/3 player was warned for blocking off large areas of land encompassing the entire lower portion of a river they decided to build on, without any base build to make use of the land they had blocked off. The player was warned again that blocking off large areas of unused land was against the server rules and they would need to reduce the amount of TC's they had blocking the river to something they would be able to actively use. on 2/12 player was warned for blocking the entire mouth of the river they chose to build on. they were given 24 hours to make modifications, however immediately became argumentative in chat insisting that none of the neighboring bases blocking the river were warned, and that we were targeting th em specifically. After letting them know that any and every base in violation of the rules at that time had been dealt with accordingly and that we do not play favorites, player decided to rage quit with their teammate anyways prior to making any modifications to their base. a short while later the player and their teammate returned to the server, and i was eventually notified by another player on the server that the banned player and their teammate had covered the entire grid square in foundations and walls upon their return. i teleported to the area and found significant retaliatory building, as well as multiple neighboring bases griefed, destroyed, twigged, and laddered on to. at this point a ban was issued to stop the griefing and allow me time to sort out the situation. Given the severity of the griefing displayed here after what was a generally minor issue a permanent ban was placed onn their account to prevent further actions such as the ones displayed today.

@Trann-EE-the-Trexthanks again for participating in the appeals process. i apologize this reply took some time, but i wanted to make sure i reviewed everything and spoke with the team in regard to this issue in between workdays this week. In reviewing the evidence logged by the team for each of your warnings, it's clear that these were all proper warnings for legitimate rule infractions. Generally, we'll afford a player three strikes before placing a ban on their account giving them ample opportunity to become familiar with our server rules and remain on the server as a rule abiding member of the community. In this case you were given 4 of those chances, being banned for the 5th infraction. We also take a look at other contributing factors such as time on the server, and/or general history as a helpful member of the community, which may all be taken into account in the decision to both place a ban, and further, overturn a ban on an appeal should things progress to that point such as in this instance. We do appreciate your well thought out and heartfelt ban appeal, and we also appreciate those times where you were a super helpful member of the community, both to individual members, as well as participating in those server wide events that make the monthly wipes fun for everyone! with that being said, we do have to enforce the server rules consistently for all members of our community, including VIP's, subscribers, or those that regularly make purchases from the website, and cannot offer preferential treatment to anyone beyond their actions within the game itself. At this point in time the ban will not be lifted, however we would encourage you to re-appeal at a later date if you choose to do so. Offender: joyeux Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 10:56PM EST Length: 7 Days Reason: Stealing and griefing More Info (Optional): on 12/29/2021 joyeux was found on the logs of a player with items reported missing. a warning was sent notifying joyeux of our policy regarding theft as well as a reminder to type /rules in chat to bring up the server rules and become familiar with them. on 1/17/2022 joyeux was again found on the logs of a players corpse with items that had been stolen. another warning was sent notifying them of the rules on our server, as well as a reminder to use /rules in chat. on 1/7/2025 a player reported their base was demolished and all of their items stolen. Upon investigation, i found that joyeux had both accessed all of the players vending machines, and was in possession of the items reported missing (a significant amount of wallpaper in amounts ranging from 19 to 30 per design). It was also noted that joyeux was killed by patrol heli just minutes before they accessed all of the vending machines stolen from. Given the repeated instances of theft from joyeux, as well as the escalating severity of how they're accessing other players items, and the effect it's having on the gameplay of others, a 7 day ban was placed on their account. The 7 day ban afford joyeux some leniency given the age of their prior two warnings.

Hello, and thank you for participating in the appeal process @The Great Reset I'm A3, the head admin on US Pure, and was asked to review your appeal. First, i'd like to clarify for you, that when issuing console warnings, admins are presented with a confirmation message letting them know that the warning in question has been delivered to the player it is being issued to. These messages display as a pop up on your screen in game that you cannot exit without clicking the "i understand" button at the bottom of the message. After reviewing the evidence collected by the admin team surrounding your infractions, you would have recieved 4 of these, and an additional one "not a warning" sent as a information to you when the admin team was forced to remove your excess tc's. Failure to read/understand these messages as they are recieved does not relieve you of your responsibility, and expectation to abide by the rules of the server which are applied consistently throughout our community, regardless of player status as vip/subscriber/regular member/amount of store purchases. Given the relatively low overall severity of your infractions, you were granted additional opportunities beyond where a ban would typically be placed, allowing you additional time to become familiar with the server rules, and continue to play as a rule abiding member of our community, however you continued to play and break rules in such a way that has significant impact on other members of the community who are attempting to enjoy their time with us, showing no remorse for those actions beyond your own ability to access the server, even now during the appeals process. At this point in time, the ban is justified, and will not be lifted. We wish you the best of luck finding a server that better fits your style of gameplay! -A3

Offender: HUNT3R Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 10:00 AM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing More Info (Optional): on 12/27 following reports of a player being shot down by an active SAM site, i investigated the area the player mentioned they were flying in while shot down. I found HUNT3R's base as the only one in the area with a pair of active SAM sites on towers above their base along with a significant amount of loaded flame turrets, and shotgun traps in the open and able to target players passing by. HUNT3R was warned in English and Spanish at this time that traps, and turrets are allowed however they must be close to or within their base and shouldn't be set in a manner that targets innocent players walking or flying by. HUNT3R was asked to type /rules in chat to bring up the server rules and avoid any further infractions of this nature. Their traps/turrets able to target other players were also unloaded and/or placed in defender mode at this time. on 12/29 HUNT3R was warned for stealing the contents of a players backpack and stole items from it after the backpack owner died near them. HUNT3R was again sent a warning notifying them of the rules of the server and reminding them to use /rules in chat to bring up and become familiar with our servers' rules regarding theft. again on 12/29 HUNT3R logged in and reloaded all their traps and SAM sites, and set them to target all, resulting in another member of the community losing their mini heli. HUNT3R was again warned in English and Spanish that having their traps and turrets set in such a manner only harms other players and does not target the patrol helicopter or animals in case they had placed them for that reason. HUNT3R's traps were placed in defender mode and unloaded for a second time. on 12/30 a third player reported being shot at from SAM sites in the same area as HUNT3R's base. Upon investigation i found that their SAM sites had been reloaded again and placed into target all mode, resulting in the SAM sites again targeting players modes of transportation. At this time the decision was made to place a ban on their account to prevent any further griefing of players flying around the map as well as players passing by HUNNT3R's base. The traps and turrets were unloaded again, so no further members of the community should be targeted by this base.

Offender: Jeffhuatua Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 10:25AM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Harassment More Info (Optional): on 12/15 a player reported a pattern of harassment directed towards them by their neighbor, in which jeffhuatua was shooting at, following, and jumping on their neighbor who asked them to stop multiple times. Shortly after the admin took the report from and spoke to the player jeffhuatua logged in and immediately began their harassing behavior while the admin was present and watching. Jeffhuatua was then spoken to verbally by the admin who took the report and explained the server rules regarding this matter to which jeffhuatua replied that they understood what they were being told. shortly afterwards on 12/15 jeffhuatua was found to have stolen a significant amount of sulfur from a players furnace, and was caught running away from the players base who they stole from and were in possession of the sulfur that was reported to be missing. another console warning was issued to jeffhuatua notifying them that stealing is against the rules of the server and if they had any further questions or clarification to reach out to staff. on 12/16 jeffhuatua logged in and began to follow and harass their neighbor from the original report again, and was again asked to leave, with jeffhuatua persisting with the harassment until they logged off. Given their short amount of time on our server, and an already 5 day running pattern of harassing their neighbor it's become apparent jeffhuatua has no intention of following the server rules, and a permanent ban was placed on their account to prevent them further harassing their neighbor or any other member of our community. Hi @chadalack I'm A3, the head admin on US Pure. After receiving the request to review your ban, I went back into our evidence logs to ensure the facts surrounding this ban are correct. After my review of the evidence, i can see that you did in fact receive two warnings last month (on the 27th as well as the 29th) for the same infractions of laddering/twigging onto other players bases as evidenced by the multiple logs posted above in the original ban post. Regarding todays incident, I reviewed the investigation, as well as the logs on the player in question, and while you may not have taken any items from the players sleeper, it's still against the server rules to access items, players, sleepers, vehicles or deployables that don't belong to you. additionally, it's also against the server rules to enter another player's base without permission unless that base is clearly marked as being open and accessible to the public. the base in question was fully secured with the exception of a hole in the roof which had to be parkoured up on to to be accessed. Given the evidence logged here, as well as having been given three strikes allowing you plenty of opportunity to become a rule abiding member of our community, it's my opinion that the ban is just at this time and will not be lifted. We wish you the best of luck finding another community that's better suited to your style of gameplay. -A3

Offender: Jose Nogueira [PTY] Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 12:21PM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing More Info (Optional): on 11/10 Jose was found to have stolen another players minicopter as soon as they landed it, and left the area. The responding admin found Jose in possession of the mini, and secured it to return the heli to it's rightful owner. Jose was warned that stealing, including players modes of transportation is against the server rules and that they should type /rules in chat to become familiar with the server rules. on 11/11 while observing another player, i watched Jose fly in on a mini and steal that players personal supply drop. The items were removed from Jose's inventory and returned to their owner. Once again Jose was sent a warning notifying them that stealing including other players personal supply drops is against the server rules and that they should type /rules into chat to bring up the server rules to prevent further infractions and/or being banned on our servers. on 11/12 While assisting another player with items stolen from their corpse, i watched Jose fly in on their mini and loot a different players corpse at Dome. Jose has been given ample opportunity to be a rule abiding member of the rust EZ community and has continued to steal from other players trying to enjoy and/or learn the game. Given their short time on our server, and the frequency of infractions, a permanent ban has been placed on Jose's account.
