Players arent obligated, nor is it a rule to be a personable person to random strangers soliciting for a weapon. While we do promote community oriented gameplay, many players simply want to do their thing and be left alone. You were only warned, and not temp banned because you dont have a history of player harrassment/griefing during your time on our server. If your interaction with others requires admin assistance you should be seeking one out in-game or on discord, because taking matters into your own hands and retaliating will more than likely run you into a speaking to or warning just like this time. As the appeals process has been sorted in this case and bans/appeals are between the player and issuing admin, please keep this thread clear of any more side chatter, thanks! -a3

Upon investigation of the recorder incident, logs showed you BOTH placed the recorders, if you didnt place any, as you claim, your steam ID would not have shown up while viewing those deployables. We do thank you for disabling the trap base however it took three rounds of speaking to you about it and an official warning to have the issue completely resolved. The owner of the base and their individual steam ID is removed to protect that players privacy, and is irrelevant to the overall issue. You were given a temporary ban as the original post said, because this is multiple instances in a very short timeframe of your actions disturbing or impairing the gameplay of others on our server, a temporary ban was handed down instead of a permanent in hopes that you will learn from these mistakes and rejoin us as a rule-abiding and community oriented player. The ban will not be lifted and will be allowed to expire after the original 5 day timeframe, during this break please use the time to review and become familiar with the server rules prior to your return. Offender: GLIZZY_GOBBLER_21 Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 5/14 7:43 PM EST Length: 5 days Reason: Player harrassment and Griefing More Info (Optional): On 5/13 It was discovered that GLIZZY had created a base that would trap players for hours unless they paid 500 scrap for the opportunity to open the door without waiting for the 3 hour timer. GLIZZY was told trap bases were not allowed on our server, and was asked at this time to modify his build such that it was no longer a trap for players wandering by. after GLIZZY made alterations to the circuit(s) controlling the trap base, it was eventually checked on by the admin team a second time and found to still fall within the realm of a trap base. on 5/14 the player was again warned for creating a trap base and asked to refrain from building more trap bases in the future. also on 5/14 after i logged in i was called to another players base claiming they needed some devices removed from their base. Upon arriving at the players location, their base was spammed with 7 cassette recorders repeating annoying noises, and were placed out of reach of the owner to be able to remove them. Investigation revealed GLIZZY and his teammate were the players who placed the recorders after a prior interaction with that player didnt go how they would have liked. This harrassment caused the player to move their entire base location to avoid the griefing and harrassment. Given the recent continued string of actions meant solely to impair the gameplay of others on our server, a 5 day ban was issued with the intention to curb this behavior and bring GLIZZY back in line with the server rules we have in place so everyone can enjoy our community.

Running the maze is as simple as pushing a button and finding your way to the exit door! there are no tricks, combinations, traps, or other oddities, 1 button push either opens a door or it doesn't, and you need to find the correct one! the maze can be time consuming, and it is recommended that you grab some food from the fridge to prevent dying from hunger as well as a flashlight for nighttime play! If you do die from hunger, an admin will not be able to place you back in the area you were at and you will have to begin again from the start! Item storage is also available on site on a first come first served basis! Please make sure your box is locked before entering the maze, and please take your items and unlock the code lock for the next player upon completion! if possible it would be nice to see the output of the hqm quarry expanded to be able to fit the production of a full load of LGF, with the current vanilla stack size of 100 hq ore the output side only handles just over half before it's full.

Offender: schmlif Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 1:50 AM EST Length: Permanent Reason: Stealing More Info (Optional): I noticed a player being killed by high external walls a handful of times and went to that player to investigate in case they were stuck or needed other assistance. Upon arrival i found schmlif attempting to gain access to multiple bases. After checking to make sure they werent teamed with any other players, and reviewing their warning history on our servers it was noted that schmlif was already warned twice previously for entering other players bases and stealing items, griefing, and taking over other players bases as well. During this time, i witnessed schmlif parkour into another players base, access a large furnace, and steal everything that was in it. Given schmlif's prior disregard for the rules of our server, other players enjoyment of the game, and the amount of prior warnings for the same infraction, a permanent ban was placed on their account.

Offender: walls Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 7:20PM CST Length: Permanent Reason: Cheating More Info (Optional): Upon reports of a player griefing other players and rapid firing pump shotguns on discord I logged into rust to assist. After spawning into the game and traveling to the griefing player he killed himself in a manner that repeatedly played the fall damage noise for minutes, lagging the area. Following them to their next spawn, the player was using noclip to float onto player bases, trap other players in position by clipping into them, and clipping into players supply drops. Watching further the player repeatedly walked off cliffs without taking fall damage, walked up vertical cliff faces as if they werent there and found another group of players at which time they began creating water ripples on players heads and on solid ground sometimes using their rock, while other times not making any movements at all. A permanent ban was placed on their account as this behavior runs counter to what's expected in our community. Multiple videos of evidence available upon request.

Offender: МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 12:34pm EST Length: Permanent Reason: Griefing and looting More Info (Optional): on 1/25/23 we were notified via the help channel on discord that a player had their horse stolen, and were being griefed by a player. with no admins available to login, МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ was kicked by another admin with a notice in russian to read the rules before rejoining, and that they should make an effort to translate all of them to ensure they remain compliant with the server rules. upon logging in a short while later, МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ and their teammate were being observed from time to time. During one of these periods while i was observing МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ i watched them access another players large furnaces, dumping loot from their own inventory to steal metal and sulfur ore from the furnace, at which point i again kicked the player with a request to read the rules before they rejoin as well as sending them a warning in russian that player harrassment, stealing and griefing is not allowed on this server and that they should use /rules to become familiar with the server rules to continue playing on our server. МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ rejoined again, and shortly afterwards i was called to another player who reported they were being griefed. upon teleporting to that player i found МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ and his teammate in the area continually shooting and hitting the player with a rock as well as chasing them all around the map. at this time I posted a PSA in russian notifying them that player harrassment and griefing is against server rules and that /rules should be used to become familiar with them once again. after the PSA was posted, МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ left the area. after returning to my base, a different player mentioned they were being griefed in chat, and upon arriving at their location i found МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ in their base as well as МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ's name on deployables within that base. given МАЛЫШ НА ПЕНСИИ's continued disregard for other players in the server, and the rules all players need to abide by to play on our server, even after multiple attempts to guide them towards playing within the rules, it was decided a permanent ban would be placed on their account.

These rules include: -No raiding, griefing, or looting of any kind. -No mic or chat spam, player disrespect, racism, or harassment. -No camping loot rooms, monuments, or any highly concentrated areas. -No building around monuments, or large areas of unused land. -You may build on rivers as long as you're not blocking passage for other players. -You may build in caves but you must ensure safe passage for other players. -No controversial or politically-forward verbiage and/or imagery. The second time you accessed the base you were found in, there was no hole in the walls, you accessed it via the raid ladders you had placed on your previous bout within the compound. Given the lack of a sincere appeal, and concern only for playing with the rest of your team instead of being apologetic to those you stole from, at this time the ban will remain in place. Offender: Alfo Battlemetrics | Steam Server: US Pure Time: 0701 EST Length: Perm Reason: raiding and griefing. More Info (Optional): This morning i was contacted on discord by a member of our community regarding a theft. Upon logging in and investigating the report it was found that Alfo had laddered into another players compound over their high external walls, then stole and/or crashed their scrap helicopter. Alfo also laddered into the players base and stole items from every container that was accessible. To conclude my investigation of this incident a console warning was sent to Alfo notifying them that raiding, stealing, looting, player and base griefing are all against the rules on RustEZ servers. The warning also included asking the player to use /rules in chat to become familiar with the server rules and continue playing with us as an upstanding member of our community. After concluding the prior investigation, i noticed a player report in the chat logs of Alfo entering a different players base and stealing from them, which i decided to investigate as the first admin online since the report. My investigation of that incident revealed the same, Alfo entering the players base and stealing items out of any container that was accessible. A warning was not sent for this base as it was grandfathered in under the prior warning. After wrapping up i noticed Alfo had logged into the server, and i figured given their history i'd observe their gameplay briefly to ensure their compliance with the rules. As soon as i arrived i found Alfo had laddered back into the compound he was warned for stealing from, and was accessing that players furnaces and refineries again. Given Alfo's disregard for the server rules, other players gameplay, their immediate disregard to their console warning, and the volume of theft Alfo has been involved in in only 5 hours on our server, i made the decision to place a permanent ban on their account.

"A fair share of the loot for a fair share of the work" was addressed for those events which required such in the form of instanced loot for heli and brad. Additionally a situation such as this is impossible to take action on without having physically been present to see what actually happened, as it's hard to judge exactly what the other player did or didnt do while you're also focused on eliminating targets yourself. If it was determined that a player was acting in bad faith in this regard, it wouldnt warrant more than a speaking to verbally as this specific issue isnt included in the server rules. As far as the "be a decent human being" rule is concerned, our team on US Pure dont believe that's a blank check for enforcement of rules we make up on the spot, and instead use it as a last case scenario. We would much prefer speaking to and reforming players instead of heavy handed admin actions with no backbone for the sake of sending out warnings. At the end of the day we enforce the rules, we do not enforce not rules, and player disputes are best handled amongst themselves both as a communication building tool as well as a dispute resolution tool. ~a3

hello @c0rd0v4n! i'm sorry to hear you ran into an issue with another player while participating in the oil rig monument! on our servers public monuments are open for any and all players to participate and loot. This means that players and teams cannot call dibbs on a monument, even if you were there first, cleared the entire monument, or killed the most scientists. While the other players actions may have been unsavory to say the least, what they did was not against the rules. We do encourage players share loot in these instances, and would suggest speaking to the other player(s) as soon as you notice their presence to come up with an agreeable plan of action beforehand for the best outcome for all parties involved. Again i'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with your oil rig run, and if there's anything else you would like to discuss or clarify, dont hesitate to reach out to an admin in game (green names)! ~a3

I love this tbh. Net worth grind/obsession is one of the reasons i avoided the modded servers as a player, and i feel it takes away from the spirit of the community.

The purge system goes off last log OUT not login or currently active. So if you're on day 7 and dont log out before the purge system runs unfortunately all your stuff poofs 😞
