  1. Running a large horse farm inside a closed space should generate a foul stench. This attracts bugs & other pests which may cause issues to production and charisma! I propose that a plugin be developed for the servers to reflect the harsh realities of dealing with large-scale livestock handling: Players who cross a certain threshold of owned composter/horse trough entities should receive a permanent "rottingflies" effect attached to their player model, and perhaps also some of the entities. discuss
  2. Hi Noddy, We understand your position and the argument that the term was not used publicly. However, our community guidelines and rules are in place to foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all players. The use of racist language, regardless of intent or visibility, is a serious violation of these principles. The rule against racism is clear and non-negotiable, and it applies to all forms of communication within the game, including private notes. Such actions undermine the spirit of our community and the gaming experience for everyone. We take these matters very seriously, and as a result, the decision to uphold the permanent ban will stand. This is to ensure that all players can enjoy their experience without exposure to harmful content, even if it is not seen by others. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. We hope this serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining a positive and respectful gaming environment.
  3. Hi @Noddymc74, Thanks for submitting an appeal for the ban. We appreciate your explanation of your motives. With the current cancel culture in the world, racism in all aspects of society is being closely scrutinized. While we do understand that it still heavily permeates music, comedy, movies, and other media, it is something we do not feel is appropriate in our community-focused servers. The word you chose to use is not welcome - in any context. The "No Racism" rule is purposefully positioned in every server's description so that it has maximum visibility - even during the lengthy loading screen. In addition to this - Facepunch's Terms of Service aligns with our stance. We would like to extend to you some resources to help understand our decision-making process: Guide to Allyship Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Glossary Anti-Racism Resources The ban will not be lifted. You are solely responsible for what happens on your account. We wish you the best of luck.

    Bad stuff

Hi xPMx - thanks for logging a ticket on the RustEZ Website Wow that's quite the collection of issues! Low-Grade Missing from Miners Hat This has been an ongoing issue with Rust for quite some time. Unfortunately, the Miners Hat just won't play nice with larger-than-normal stack sizes and occasionally eats extra fuel placed in your hat. This bug has been flagged with Facepunch on numerous occasions but doesn't seem to get much traction. Low-Grade Missing from backpack Does it disappear only whilst you are offline? Are all stacks of Low-Grade removed? or only one? Does anything else disappear? Low-Grade Missing from pipes This can happen occasionally depending on whether an update to the Quarry/Pumpjack storage adapters has been pushed to the servers by Death. Typically all Low-Grade inside Quarries and attached containers are removed in this instance. Playing with a large team Is it possible that one of the other team members is taking the Low-Grade from the containers? Perhaps try putting a codelock on the container and see whether this is a potential fix. Losing Scrap at Bandit Camp We have a custom plugin that prevents players from purchasing oversized stacks of items at vendors. Typically your inventory will be filled to the max with the item you've purchased, and your scrap will remain in your inventory. This is a relatively recent addition to the servers and is going through continuing development. Let us know if you continue to encounter this issue. Signs & Boxes losing skins There is currently an issue with signs on the server - where it can only hold a certain number of signs in the server save file, and when the server restarts and reloads the save file it sets the 'unsaved' signs back to blank. It works on a "first come, first serve" basis with sign entities of smaller Identifier numbers being prioritised. Rust has a long-standing glitch with boxes losing their skins (or sometimes changing into skins that you don't own) when you teleport into your base from another location. This is typically resolved by moving away from your base for ~30 seconds and then returning to your base. I hope that helps - let us know if there's anything else we can do! • Squog [AU] Survival Head Admin
  5. Hi Chinaski, Thanks for reaching out to clarify this matter. The server rules that are accessible by typing /rules into chat state: This differs slightly from what is also available when typing /info and clicking the Prev button: You are correct in saying that Tool Cupboards (TCs) placed to cover a large area do not constitute a breach of these rules, however - as stated previously in this thread - we ask that any TCs placed purely for the purpose of excluding others from occupying a space be removed after 24 hours. This should provide ample time to construct what you require out of twig, or place Quarries/Pumpjacks. This incident does not warrant any form of formal warning being applied to you, and you are free to build as you please on the server, within the aforementioned limits. In future, please reach out to EZ staff directly or use the help section of the forums if you have any queries on this matter.

  8. Hi @DolliPop, Thanks for engaging with the EZ bug report system. Your input is appreciated. Can you expand on the current electricity setup in your base?: How many outputs of the Test Generator are used? How much power does each of the outputs on the Test Generator say they are producing? Have you tried directly connecting an output from the Test Generator to the Car Lift? What troubleshooting steps have you already taken? Let us know how you go with the above.

They are also typically beyond the range of any tool cupboards they are authed onto. This means that the Patrol Helicopter should only shoot incendiary rockets, in addition to the door gunners' fire. The fact Starth evidenced another player in the area who shot at the Patrol Helicopter in combination with the instancing determining another player had done sufficient damage to be awarded loot is indicative of someone who was geared in the area drawing the aggro of the Patrol Helicopter. The demeanour in which you confronted Starth on Discord following these events was also reported to admins as disrespectful conduct that is similar in nature to previous entanglements. The context for this incident stretches across several wipes. After players already at launch site engaged with and killed a Bradley from a signal you purchased, you took it upon yourself to attack them personally by writing on the ground with a spray can. This behaviour is not how we would like the community to conduct themselves when dealing with these matters and must be corrected by admins across all servers when it is recognized. After consultation with EZ Leadership, we have decided to accept your appeal, with the caveat that the ban will stay in place for 3 days to allow you to reflect on how the situation could have been better handled. If you have further queries in this matter please reach out to an [AU] Survival staff member. - Squog Head Admin [AU] Survival

  12. Elixil3 is correct. The recent update that implemented the restrictions on the number of bags/beds also changed the icon/stack behaviour when crafting the items. The items are stacked, but the stack size counter is prevented from being displayed.
  13. Hi Rohan, I've seen this behaviour on [AU] Survival and the primary contributing factor was that the player who originally placed the code-lock on the vehicle is not the same player who is reporting they are unable to access the driver seat. The underlying chassis appears to retain which player placed a code-lock on it and prevents others from accessing the vehicle.

  15. Storage Adapters deployed on Pumpjacks and Quarries on the [AU] Survival server don't appear to be "blinking" green/red when the connected conveyor makes a change to the container. Resources are still flowing in/out of the containers normally. This causes the conveyor's "Filter Fail" to be set constantly in some instances, which is not the case.
  16. Hi SHANE, Thanks for logging a bug report on this matter. Can you please try the following steps: Quit Rust (if it's open) Open your Steam Library Right-Click on Rust on the left edge Select Manage > Browse Local Files (this should open a File Explorer window of your Rust folder) Alt-Tab back to your Steam Library Right-Click on Rust on the left edge Select Manage > Uninstall Click the Uninstall button Alt-Tab back to the File Explorer window once the Uninstallation completes Select all files remaining in the folder by pressing Ctrl + A Then delete all files permanently by pressing Shift + Delete Re-install the game from Steam once the folder is cleared Let us know how you go with the above.
  17. Thanks for that info. Based on the information provided and the research conducted into this issue we have determined that this is likely caused by the Oxide/uMod plugin framework that is central to the way the server handles the custom plugins used by all modded servers in the cluster. We are actively working toward replacing Oxide/uMod with a much more performant and stable competitor in the near future. We will continue our investigation in the short-term to see whether a band-aid fix is viable.
  18. Hi Posty, Thanks for logging a bug request. Can you advise on the below: Does this issue occur when both dragging the blue droplet and also pressing the green "take" button when interacting with a deployable water barrel/catcher? Do you use an anti-virus software? And if so - which one? What troubleshooting steps have you already tried? Does the issue occur when playing on other servers? Let us know how you go with the above.
  19. While scrolling Reddit shortly after wipe I found a post where a number of players experienced an issue with blueprints being reverted shortly after they were learned. There have now been a couple of instances on [AU] Survival where players have remarked that their blueprints are being wiped after a few hours of playing. I believe this may be linked to the issue discussed on Reddit. Unfortunately these players leave the server shortly afterwards so finding out more details is problematic. Players impacted: milkweed xMinra
  20. The two Horse Saddles have differing in-game descriptions: Working Saddle: Non-functional Saddle purchased from the Black Market:
  21. Horse Saddles purchased from the vendor are working currently:
  22. After purchasing a single Horse Saddle from the Black Market, players have been unable to complete the purchase of a horse from the ranch. Holding E does not show a pie menu, indicating the horse does not recognise the saddle in the inventory. This does not appear to be an issue with the new Double Horse Saddle when purchased from the Black Market.

  24. My opinion is that players in a PVE environment shouldn't feel the need to compete against each other, and should find ways to enrich their experience by seeking positive relationships with other players. The best part of the RustEZ community is the people you meet along the way - the servers are merely a platform for that interaction to take place on. I see the servers as a "refuge" or "safe haven" from the toxicity found on 99% of Rust servers. Implementing a larger building exclusion zone around TCs will be problematic on the high-population servers in the cluster. The rules that are currently in place need to be applicable in all instances to ensure we are consistent with our approach to moderating the servers.
