    I bought VIP, but it is not working in-game

    VIP requires your RustEZ website account to be linked to the correct Steam account before your perks can sync in-game.


    Before submitting a ticket, please try:

    • Confirm your Steam account is linked at rustez.com/link.
    • Make sure you are logged into the correct RustEZ account.
    • Reconnect to the server.
    • Make sure you are checking the correct server.
    • Remember that some VIP perks are not available on every server.


    If VIP still does not work, submit a help ticket with your order number, SteamID, and the server where perks are missing.

    Do store purchases carry through wipes?

    Most store purchases are not permanent account unlocks unless the product specifically says so. Consumables and delivered items are one-time purchases and last until they are used, lost, destroyed, wiped, or otherwise removed through normal gameplay.

    VIP is permanent, but individual items such as supply drops, weapons, vehicles, deployables, or placed objects may not be permanent unless stated on the product page. If you believe a purchased item should have survived a wipe or was lost due to a delivery issue, submit a help ticket with the order number and server.

    Can I refund a store purchase?

    Refunds are reviewed case by case. Please create a help ticket and include your order number, what was purchased, the server/region, and why you are requesting a refund.

    If the item was already delivered, used, consumed, placed, or lost through normal gameplay, it may not be eligible. If you purchased for the wrong server or account, let us know before using the item so staff can review your options.

    Please do not open a chargeback, as that can create account and payment restrictions.

    Why didn't I receive my items I purchased?

    Store purchases are usually delivered automatically, but delivery depends on your RustEZ account being linked to the correct Steam account.

    If you purchased before linking Steam, bought on the wrong account, selected the wrong server, or still have not received your item, submit a help ticket with your order number, SteamID, server/region, and the item purchased.


    Before submitting a ticket, please check:

    • You are signed into the correct RustEZ website account.
    • Your Steam account is linked.
    • You are playing on the correct server/region.
    • You have reconnected to the server after purchase.

    How do I use my VIP recycler?

    VIP members have access to a portable recycler that can be opened anywhere, allowing you to recycle items without needing to travel to a monument. Does NOT work on Pure or Elysium.


    Open the recycler

    Use the recycler instantly without needing to visit a monument.

    /rec

    Tip: Run this command from the in-game chat.

     

    Optional: bind it to a key

    Set up a keybind to open the recycler instantly with a single key press.

    1. Press F1 to open the console.
    2. Paste this bind command:
    bind <key> chat.say /rec

    Example: bind b chat.say /rec

     

    Note: Key binds are saved client-side, so you only need to set this once.

    How do I claim my VIP supply drop?

    Claim your free daily VIP supply drop on each RustEZ server, giving you a consistent bonus every day you play.

    Tip: Run this command from the in-game chat.


    The cooldown resets daily at midnight (EST). You may claim one VIP supply drop per day, on each RustEZ server.

    Can I transfer store purchases between servers?

    No -- but should you mistakenly login to the wrong server after purchase please send us a help ticket and we'll get it sorted.

    How does no fuel consumption work?

    No fuel consumption for ovens lets you to smelt ores or refine crude oil without the need for fuel (i.e. wood). It works with the furnace, large furnace and small oil refinery. Please note that this VIP perk is not available on our Pure servers.

    Can I transfer VIP to a new account?

    We do allow memberships to be transferred to alts accounts or other players. Keep in mind that once it is transferred it no longer is yours (unless you own the other account as well.) Send us a help ticket to request a transfer.
