  3. Does this happen when something is destroyed near it? May be related to the socket bug.

  6. There is no system in place that would do this naturally but I know what you're referring to as I used to play with them a lot. The reality is, the plugin is old and the original author has abandoned it. I only update it to keep it functional and plan a complete rewrite sometime this year. I did find a solution to the leak but I can't recall as it's been quite a while since I've played on Survival.

  8. You can never be sure if someone is still in the process of looting a crash site which is why we say if you did not participate just stand clear. If someone were to give it away they'd announce it in chat. Warnings are rarely logged unless it's a mild offense. We use warnings to communicate with you without having to call you out in game chat.

  10. Pipes "leak" if the flow rate is greater than the storage capacity of what it's being piped into. Using the splitter, you can limit the amount of stacks it'll split into on the source container.

  15. Old map didn't have launch.
  16. @Geri_Atric (R)eward (P)oints. It has several names but we refer to them as credits.
  17. Is it possible these players were outside of the base because the portion of the base that was removed from inactive purge was where they logged off?
  18. @deer milk Thank you for your feedback! Players are purged after 2 weeks of being offline, assuming there isn't an active player authorized on the cupboard. Zombies cannot walk off the mesh like some of the newer scientists just yet but it's something we're working on. Also, they're attracted to sound and do often horde naturally based on the terrain. I do like the idea of making it into an event. We're always working to balance loot and do so with peak counts in mind. Zombies drop the same loot as junk piles to give players an alternative method of farming components and blueprints, as with fishing, when the server is full. @RakkaDaReal When they're added to the game you'll be the first one behind the wheel. @Warlord Ubba The long term plan for zombies is to have them scale to their attacker using an item scoring metric associated with the contents of your inventory.
  19. Pure and Survival were designed for casual players in mind which is why we've disabled decay. Inactive purge is there to handle players who only play for a couple of days and it takes 2 weeks because that's the threshold of when the purge kicks in. Purge runs every night when dailies reset and purges anyone who's been offline for more than 2 weeks. Even with decay, players could easily afford upkeep on twig for several weeks with an hour of farming. There's no real solution without taxing either noobs or veterans which is why we have the systems in place as we do. Our Scourge server is similar to Survival besides the fact that it has zombies. Even with decay we face the same problems that are quickly solved when said player goes inactive. Overall, it's not perfect and it's something I'm actively working to improve. I appreciate your feedback!
  20. Images are cached in memory during your session. So the first time you open the store it's downloading the images and storing in memory. That's why it loads the second time around. As long as you stay connected those images will remain in memory. Even with 20Mbps you shouldn't have any issues downloading these images as most of them are kbs. If it's not your modem, which I think it is, I can add a special command you can run after logging in to queue all the images we use in batches and download them to your client slowly over time. This should eliminate your issue. Though, finding the source would be beneficial for you going forward.
  21. That definitely sounds network related. I would contact your ISP to have them run signal and line tests. If they don't find any problems request a new modem. If you use your own equipment I would replace your existing modem. If that is not the issue you can always return the new modem, if applicable. PS: I went a full year with the issue you're describing. If I used too much bandwidth the internet would just cut out until I restarted my PC and the modem. I layed new cat6 and replace the router with no success. It turned out to be the modem. Hope this helps!

  23. I'm not able to find any issues on our end and based on the information given, this sounds like a local network issue. I've had similar issues in the past where my internet would go out but I could still use VoIP services. It turned out to be a bad/failing modem. Contact your ISP, if it persists swap out your equipment.
