Have you tried one of our modded? Despite what it appears on the surface, they aren't that modded compared to most modded servers. https://rustez.com/compare

If you see a client update required message, your Rust client is out of date and needs to be updated through Steam before you can join the server. This usually only happens when Facepunch pushes a forced client update. These updates are commonly released to patch exploits, fix urgent issues, or make sure all players are on the same Rust version. How to fix it Close Rust completely. Open Steam and check if Rust has an update available. You can do this from your Library or the Downloads page. If an update is available, let Steam finish downloading and installing it. If no update appears, fully exit Steam and reopen it. This often forces Steam to check for the latest Rust update. Check Rust again in your Steam Library. If Rust still does not update, verify the game files. Right-click Rust, click Properties, go to Installed Files, then click Verify integrity of game files. Once Steam finishes, launch Rust and join the server again.

Rust has two types of skins: accepted skins and Workshop skins. Accepted skins download with the game. Workshop skins download separately through Steam while you play. If you play on servers that allow Workshop skins, your Steam Workshop cache can grow very large over time. When Rust loads a new Workshop skin, Steam may briefly stall while checking or downloading it. This can feel like lag, freezing, or rubber banding. How to fix it Close Rust and fully exit Steam. Open your Steam folder. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ Go to: steamapps\workshop\content\252490 Delete everything inside the 252490 folder. Go back to: steamapps\workshop Delete this file if it exists: appworkshop_252490.acf Open Steam again. Go to Steam Settings, then Downloads, and click Clear Download Cache. Launch Rust and join the server again. Rust may re-download Workshop skins as needed. This does not delete Rust, your Steam inventory, accepted skins, blueprints, keybinds, or server progress.

Vanilla loot protection is enabled for some containers. Please let us know if everything is working correctly!

This month, we’ll be featuring two monuments for players to explore and loot, each bringing fresh layouts, unique points of interest, and plenty of opportunities for adventure. Sea City A returning offshore city taken over by scientists. Push through the buildings, search for loot, solve the blue keycard puzzle, use ziplines to move around, and keep an eye out for Chinook crate action. Fishermen Freighter A stranded fishing freighter waiting to be picked clean. Climb aboard, search the decks for loot, make use of the recycler, and work through the green keycard puzzle for a compact ocean-side adventure.

July 2nd 2026 will mark the final wipe for our Pure+ servers. They were originally created to offer an alternative gameplay path built upon player feedback. Due to the extremely low population and the complexity it adds to development, we've sadly decided to discontinue these server and instead move over a lot of the positive changes over to our Pure servers, within community guidelines. Pure+ Server Closure

1.4 million stone in 30 days is quite good and I'm sure you're factoring in vanilla decay. Just so you know, with a jackhammer you could get that much stone in less than a day. Some can get that in a few hours. If you have trouble finding stone, use Quarry, GE, or trade wood for stone.
-
It will be enabled tomorrow for testing on all Pure servers.

Sadly not due to community server restrictions. If you are interested in store perks you can try one of our many modded flavors. https://rustez.com/compare

@Brad We're in direct communication with Facepunch to bring a lot of the QoL over to vanilla PvE so hopefully you won't miss anything for long!

Poll is now closed. We will activate decay at a reduced rate (50% of vanilla) during the August wipe and running a new poll to see where the community stands after experiencing the change.

Due to the extremely low population and the complexity it adds to development, we've sadly decided to discontinue these server and instead move over a lot of the positive changes over to our Pure servers, within community guidelines. With all of the feedback collected we plan to make some changes to our Pure servers, specifically some of the changes we decided to branch off to Pure+. This served as a way for us to test some of these changes and gather live feedback without disturbing the main servers. Unfortunately, we found ourselves unable to really explore with the limited player base and frankly an overwhelmed development team. Reuniting Pure We will be closing our Pure+ servers, originally launched to give players an alternative with extra QoL, etc. These servers, along with their admin teams, will rejoin our main Pure servers, along with all of the requested changes from the community within the game's community guidelines. Since the sever didn't differ much functionally from existing offerings and Facepunch working on an improved native PvE system, we don't feel this server is viable long term. We know players enjoyed the additional QoL and access to store features but as its own server it just doesn't make sense. With the upcoming improved PvE system a lot of these QoL changes will be native. While the server did surprisingly cover costs, it was at the expense of stretching Pure admins thin, and having to fork a bunch of our plugins since the server was so niche which drastically increased our workload. Enabling Decay Based on player feedback we'll be enabling decay at a reduced rate (50%) for an entire wipe and running another poll to make sure this is what the community wants. With the nature of forced monthly wipes we can easily flick this back off should the community decide against it. We hope this discourages large player builds and adds a bit more value to basic resources. Loot Protection We will be testing some of the native loot protection features to reduce the amount of theft from unlocked containers. The native protection is very limited, but much better than having nothing at all. Timeline June 30th: Enabling vanilla loot protection to make sure it works as intended before wipe. Completed July 2nd: Closure of Pure+. With all of the changes coming fast, we decided to go ahead and close these servers so we can focus on the bigger changes coming in August. If you purchased any memberships specifically for this server we're happy to refund. Reach out. Completed August 6th: Enabling decay for the entire wipe and collect user feedback to see if we will keep it enabled.

@Baboo We want to avoid excessive UI to preserve the vanilla experience. I can see about adding a chat reminder, though.

You can request to teleport to another player by typing /tp followed by their name or Steam ID. The other player can accept the request using the HUD call-to-action that appears on their screen, or manually in chat with /tpa. Request a teleport Send a teleport request to another player. /tp name Tip: Replace name with the player’s name or Steam ID. Accept a teleport request Accept an incoming teleport request from another player. /tpa Tip: You can also accept using the HUD call-to-action when it appears. How player teleporting works Use /tp name or /tp steamid to request a teleport. The other player must accept the request before you teleport. Players can accept using the HUD call-to-action or by typing /tpa. Each teleport costs Net Worth. Costs increase the more you teleport. Prices reset every night at midnight EST. Note: Teleport requests must be accepted by the other player before the teleport begins. Related How do I set a home?

If you find landmines, bear traps, hostile turrets, spikes, blocked roads, blocked monuments, or blocked public quarries, submit a help ticket with the server and exact location. Include screenshots if possible. Avoid interacting with the traps or structures until staff reviews them.
