  1. We appreciate everyone worried they aren't going to be able to throw us as much money anymore with these changes, but let me assure you every decision we're making is to maximize the amount of money we can extract from you. Give us some time to cook and don't worry too much as the new system will be much more convenient than you think.
  2. Unsure just yet. I want to simplify it and make each level more substantial so I have no clue right now tbh. Basically $5 pj but it would essentially be the same as if you were to buy 2 previously.
  3. Its a feature we've wanted to get rid of but can't since we've had it so long. As I said we try where possible.
  4. We like to avoid magic where possible. The system will be similar in esscense but grounded.
  5. Elysium never had /rec
  6. You would need to sort that out from the remote hopper.
  7. Since we are going off instanced rates each level would be more susbstantial. Level cap will be higher than it is now.
  8. Yes, this is basically virtual but grounded in realism. We like features to make sense and not just be magic.
  9. @PyroMonsterthe station is placed at your base or wherever you want it. They can be programmed to deliver from any point so you can have multiple stations. @silver196543 same price they are now if not less.
  10. This has always been a thing on all of our modded servers. https://rustez.com/features/instancing-r10/
  11. Over the years we've been slowly phasing these out as most of the in-game mechanics have been stripped out of the game, they take too much space and are just a hassle to set up by players. We've discussed previously about simply creating new models but that wouldn't solve one of the major flaws, which is placement. After much consideration, we've decided we're going to phase them both out completely and instead utilize the public instanced quarries and pumpjacks instead. These can be leveled up to improve production exactly as you can now, just they will live at monuments instead of your base. We understand the advantage of having them the way they are is to avoid travel time and unnecessary friction transferring these items from each quarry and pumpjack back to your base and we thought about this. With this change, you will now be able to purchase a Hopper Station from the black market which will enable automatic transfer to and from to restock with fuel and grab production to be processed back at your base. This will allow you to place adapters to properly automate processing material and keeping them fed with fuel to ensure players are able to re-create the previous quality of life from the current system. We're unsure how often transfers will happen, or if we'll allow the station to be upgradable just yet but we'll keep you updated as development continues. Servers that previously did not have quarries like Scourge and Elysium will not be able to upgrade quarries initially, but we do plan to enable this as we figure out how quarries will be obtained. It's likely quarries will join pumpjacks on the store and be a purchasable upgrade. On Survival, these will remain free as they are now but in the interest of improving server funding we may consider moving these to store exclusives eventually. TL;DR Quarries and Pumpjacks removed as player deployables. You'll be able to upgrade public quarries and pumpjacks instead. New deployable added to black market that will auto deliver resources to and from quarries and pumpjacks to allow automation. Non Survival servers will not have upgradable quarries initially. Will likely be a store item as we do for pumpjacks. Survival servers will be able to obtain quarries the same way they do now, but may change later on to help server funding. Feedback Nothing is finalized yet so we'd love to hear your feedback and ideas as we continue development.
  12. What do you mean by vip items?
  13. NPC vending machines have increased stock limits to better support our PvE economy. Once an item sells out, its stock will slowly replenish at vanilla rates, but the machine will not be fully restocked until the daily reset. Limiting full restocks helps protect the server economy. If an item or trading method is ever affected by an exploit, this prevents unlimited purchases and helps minimize the potential damage. NPC vending machines are fully restocked at 12:00 AM Eastern Time alongside our other daily cooldowns and resets. Players can also complete the High Demand Requisition to trigger an NPC vending machine restock as its community reward.
  14. Changed Status to Closed
  15. Loot is expected. While I do agree it needs a buff I'm not going to classify this as a bug.
  16. Changed Status to Working
  17. Most of our custom AI is disabled due to server performance issues. Too much is being added to the game and not enough optimization right now sadly.
  18. Because our VIP is lifetime we have no plans to ever run a sale for it. It's already reasonably priced and the offering far exceeds its value. For comparison, most servers charge the same price for a monthly subscription.
  19. Per the community vote we will be enabling decay on our Pure servers for the month of August at 50% vanilla rate. This will require players to keep their cupboards stocked with the required materials to ensure their bases have upkeep to prevent decay. This change is to help boost economy for basic resources and help restrict unreasonable builds, while not punishing players who just like to build. For the last week of August we will run a new poll to see if players would like to keep it after having experienced it an entire wipe. Based on the results of that poll we will either disable it, or continue running it for the foreseeable future. If it is voted to become a primary feature of the server we plan to scale it to vanilla over the span of a few months, increasing it by 15% each month until we reach vanilla upkeep rates, or until player feedback states otherwise.
  20. Subscriber has completely evolved after we made Elysium free to play. Now it's basically a monthly VIP with the additional benefits it had before. They have access to all in-game VIP perks including the daily VIP. I didn't fully comprehend the feedback here so feel free to elaborate on parts I skimmed over. As for the indexing issue with the action menu that'll be fixed in a new update coming out today. The frontend is still a WIP
  21. We understand people come from different backgrounds and may use certain words differently amongst themselves, but we do not allow racial slurs anywhere on our servers, including sleeping bag names. We have no way of knowing the context or intent behind it, so everyone is held to the same standard. We are making a one-time exception and approving this appeal. Going forward, please keep all names and chat clean. Any similar issue will result in the ban being reinstated without another exception.
