We're hosting a new build contest for players on all RustEZ servers. Build a themed player shop and enter to win store credits and other in-game prizes for next wipe! The shop theme can be anything you choose (food market, tea shop, weapons, car parts, etc.), however it must follow these rules: Stand-alone shopfront not connected to your base or any other build Maximum foundation size of 15 Themed to sell one item /related items At least one accessible and stocked vending machine Contains a sign or banner with your shop name HOW TO ENTER You may enter only one build. Reply to this forum thread and provide the following details by Midnight EST (5 am GMT) Sunday, May 16, 2021. Post your entry in advance of your final build so we can follow your progress! Your in-game name The server your contest build entry is on (AU, EU, or US) Survival, Pure, Scourge, or note as Admin Build The map grid ID location of the build One screenshot showing the shopfront (Tips for taking full screenshots) PRIZES Finalists will be chosen by staff and participant votes during the build tours event (date TBA). Prizes will be awarded (per server) as follows: First Place: $10 RustEZ store credit Second Place: $5 RustEZ store credit Third Place: 3x Supply signals Participant's Choice: 3x Supply signals BUILD TOURS Staff will host several Build Tour Events. On the Scourge servers, flame turrets can be used by players to take out wandering hordes nearby, and on other servers as base deco. There is always the option to recycle them down for extra mats as well!

#1 When resources exist in the tool cupboard (TC) prior to the base taking damage, the damaged portions will utilize the materials to self-repair. In the future should you wish to fix a building mistake, simply equip the Salvaged Hammer tool in-game and use it on the part of the build you want to fix (i.e. wall or foundation). The piece of the structure you hit will be removed. #2 Launch Rust From the left-hand menu select "Options" and verify the following: - Options> Streamer Mode: Off - User Interface > Show Hud: ON, Show Chat: On, Mute Global Chat: Off, Auto-Switch: Off If you still have issues with using chat after verifying these settings, let us know. #3 Use the Salvaged Hammer to pick up the pool (unlike building pieces that are removed, placed items hit with a salvaged hammer will return to your inventory). Upgrade and then place the pool on the newly upgraded foundations. Should you have any further questions about our server mods or general Rust game options, please use our website forums or Discord.
