Was just a simple misunderstanding. I've moved this topic out of the report section as it's no longer a report.

Having a weapon on your back doesn't necessarily means it is in his hotbar as it shows regardless as long as it's in your inventory. I'm sure he may have been using the base to restrict line of sight to prevent being aggroed. I don't think @Dr. Steve Brule was doing it to be malicious.

@ScarletFox We're currently short-handed and trying to manage the chaos of 2 events a week would be very hard.

Events A new month brings a new beginning and an end for the past. As always we host pre-wipe events allowing players to fulfill their dreams of being in the cockpit of a helicopter and most importantly a Bradley APC. All players will be able to drive and operate said vehicles along with their arsenal of weapons to fight other players or destroy bases with no prosecution. Even if you wish to not participate in the pre-wipe events be sure to be on after the wipe to enjoy free airdrops throughout the day! Schedule Survival PvE (12:30 pm - 5:00 pm) Pure PvE (12:30 pm - 5:00 pm) All times listed are in EST Commands /noclip - Toggles no clip (Can also be triggered via console 'noclip') /flyheli - Spawns and mounts a helicopter (LClick Machine guns RClick Missles) /spawntank - Spawns a Bradley APC to enter press E (LClick Rocket RClick Machine Gun Middle Turret)

Thanks to everyone who participated in our first ever chinook event. We'll try and improve it in the future to make it a better experience for everyone. Thanks to @Trifeel for doing most of the work and @Jennyfurkins for helping out!

Important Information If you're affected by NRE disconnects please download our custom BAT file before joining the event to make it easier for both you and event coordinators. If you crash during the event because of this chances are you'll be immediately disqualified. 1) Download .bat file [https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/370253796485496832/434432235765104640/EZ_v.0.2.bat] 2) Place the .bat anywhere on your desktop, just ensure it's easily accessible for step 3. 3) Close Rust completely and run the .bat file. Once done it will automatically launch Rust for you. Do this everytime you launch Rust until told otherwise. Notice If either Rust or Steam is installed on a different drive other than C:\ be sure to make the appropriate changes in the batch file or request assistance from someone who can.

Chinook Racing Event (Sunday, April 29 @ 4:00pm EST) Race your very own chinook across the Rusted wasteland landing at checkpoints along the way to collect items you'll need to combine at the end to win. This race is more than just getting from point A to B, the player with all collected items and is the first one to successfully land on the pad wins. What not to bring Don't bring anything you're not willing to lose. Clothes recommended, armor is optional but is not needed. What to expect Players who do not act appropriately or becomes an issue will immediately be disqualified. If you decide to participate you must listen to any all instruction given to you by an admin or event coordinator. This makes everyone's lives easier. Rewards First place: [$5 EZ store credit + 5 refundable supply drops] Second place: [5 refundable supply drops] Participants: [1 large present + A half hour of fun] Schedule The event will start at 4:00 pm on April 29th be sure to sign in at least 10 minutes early to prepare.

There's already plans to expand on casual with a modded variant but we're simply waiting for the community to grow before we divide it between two servers. We also had a pvp variant of survival but it grew pretty toxic so we had to discontinue it. We value community over all else and will not stand to jeopardize it in any way. Additionally, we plan to relaunch our vanilla PvP server in the near-future following the Creative server which is still in the works. Give us time and we shall deliver, just let us pace ourselves so we spread our community in a healthy manner and prevent underpopulation during expansion.

@Mister Bumbles Interesting idea, but unfortunately, it'll just add way too much additional work for admins so I can't justify making this change. Another simple solution would be to allow players to merge queries together upgrading their yield compacity every time another is stacked.

We've had a full PvP server but it caused nothing but issues and divided our community. Rust PvP is simply too toxic to establish any sense of community we'd like to be considered apart of. We do have casual which is a nice blend of pvp and pve.
