Thank you for taking time to give feedback!  Unfortunately, I can't make people submit an application to join staff and help the community out in an admin role.

The rule is no camping. If you are aware this is happening, take a minute of your  time to report the player(s) to ensure admins on your server are aware. Don't assume they already know about it -- assume they don't and report it.

Public monuments and events are server-wide events in public spaces and typically aren't meant to be soloed. If others want to participate there's nothing you can do about it – they want to have fun, the same as you. Compromise is a big part of playing on a community server.  

- If players join and participate: share the loot. Most players do. If they don't  report them.
- If players join and take the loot w/o participating (or fires one arrow kind of deal and say "BUT I HELPED" and snags the crates) , report them.
- If players are being greedy and claiming (hogging) events and not letting others participate, report them.

More Info: ToM1x entered another player's base while they were building and putting lock on their door. Took their vehicle from lift and smashed around inside the base, while trolling and being toxic to the players in voice chat.  ToM1x  refused to  exit the vehicle and leave the base, after being warned by admin in voice chat.

Your efforts certainly do help curb the problem and the time you spend posting in #help or on the website is appreciated.  Admins are not automatically in the know or see everything happening on the server. Admins are players too. Sometimes we're fighting a horde of zombies, smacking trees to build a base or doing admin stuff --  like dealing with another player or doing an event -- and miss it. 

The best "admin tool" we have to find and remove these players from the servers is the community.  Making the choice  to TP away and ignore the problem player -- well, that's certainly your choice to do so -- but admins are not mind readers. We need the community to report these players, to ensure we're aware.  If Player A stole your loot, report them. If Player B is trolling you with and endless supply of rockets, report them. 

If you feel that reports you do make are ignored then that's valuable feedback. It tells me that we need to work on making sure players who do report are aware of  the action taken against the player, so you're not left feeling ignored.

Being a world class asshole is not exclusive to new players. We've been taking a firmer stance on banning players who fit the "havoc" description with improved ban filters to immediately ban these players and making sure staff has a good process to handle the ones not caught by the script.  Players who troll, harass others, exhibit toxic (or racist) behavior and create drama in the servers and community are not welcome here. This applies to new players and existing players who instigate, disrupt and ruin the PvE community experience for all of us. Warnings and bans are applied equally, regardless of the player's role  and how much time they've spent in the community.

Totally get that @souptime_365 . Your post isn't "bitch mode" you are voicing valid concerns that are not going unnoticed.  

I've stayed in this community for as long as I have because this stuff gets handled. When I first started playing here RustEZ was 3 servers and a community a fraction of the size it was last wipe. Many things are amplified because of server instability issues we have with the higher pop servers right now. Death will continue to work on these problems and will roll out fixes, upgrades and whatever is necessary to smooth this out for this wipe and provide a better experience in the future.

Player behavior issues are also frustrating for admins. We need the community to report problem players so they can be dealt with. 

Unfortunately, problem players are not limited to the standard community member role. Over nine servers, I am just as likely to see a VIP or Subscriber reported for stealing loot, monument camping, bullying, disrespect, or generally just being a toxic asshat in chat as I am any member of the community.  When players have been around for a while they know how to toe the line, skirt rules, and how to avoid detection.  I'm not saying your idea is a bad one – I just want to point out that a player doesn't change their behavior simply because they choose to spend $5 on a subscriber role.

Thank you for sticking with us while we get it together and for taking time to voice your concerns about the community. We know this wipe is a tough go for players and staff. If your usual server is just not an enjoyable experience for you right now, try one of the lower pop EU or AU servers, while we get our shit together on the other high pop servers (and we will). We should not have to "warn" people that racism is wrong and not acceptable.  Racism in any space where our PvE community participates is not tolerated. Rules are clearly displayed to every person who joins our community of servers. 

Your ban will not be lifted.

That's the point of making sure you report it to admins. Admin have tools that allow us to see combat logs for server events. When a player reports it, if we're not online to see it ourselves we can go back through the logs to get a good understanding  of what that player has been doing.

If it's an issue, we'll either have a chat with said player in game, issue a warning on their account or take other action as required. If you report a player, an admin will typically follow up with you to let you know they took action.

Report it.

It's important to make admins aware of these players and their actions; otherwise, said player will potentially continue the behavior, without repercussion.  

• If a player takes all the loot /doesn't share when multiple players participate, report them.
• If you believe a player is camping brad spawns – report them.  

If you are not comfortable with reporting a player breaking the rules in our #help channel in Discord (example message: "@(US)Survival PlayerName is not sharing the brad loot and taking it all") then you can message the head admin from your server via the Staff page. You can also send a private report via the Help page.

The NPC garrison and some server events were temporarily disabled while we focused on server performance to manage the influx of new players to our community this wipe. This event is enabled for the time being.

For issues like the planter, the best way to notify us of a server bug is to use the Bug Report section of the website. I see this bug has already been reported – you can follow the thread to receive notification when the issue is resolved.

Custom monuments and changes  to loot are not out of the question, as some of these things were in the works/planned, but is on hold for now as the focus has shifted to balancing server performance and hardware upgrades as we deal with the influx of new players this wipe.

In the meantime we have recently updated the website FAQ to include helpful information on common questions about calling dibs, loot camping and hogging monuments.

If you encounter an issue with loot/monument camping, please let an admin from your server know about it! You can ping an online admin in game chat, post in #help on Discord (tag the server -- valid tags are pinned in this channel) or send an admin from your server a message via the staff page.
