  2. On the modded servers, player vs player damage is not enabled, so you won't take damage from other players. Players who are very new to the server don't always understand PvE and may shoot at others, until they figure it out -- it happens.

Griefing and harassment is against the rules, however.  If it's a case of a player engaging to purposefully harass you, then please tag an admin for the server in Discord or report a player and an admin will handle it.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 19 at 8 PM ET
WHERE: CR2019 Main server (connect 192.223.26.223:29104)

All RustEZ players are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 19 at 8 PM ET for an evening of fun on the Charitable Rust 2019 main server. Charitable Rust is a yearly event that aims to improve the lives of people through the power of playing Rust. As part of this, CR2019 runs scheduled events (like Turf Wars, Tower Penetration and Hunger Games) but also has a 24/7 main server with additional amazing event builds.

While not a complete list, here's what to expect on the Charitable Rust main server: Art contest, Labyrinth, Olympics, Parkour City, Boat Battles, Boat Jumps, Murder Mystery, Escape Room plus boat, car and horse races.

    Team #RustEZ

Joining us for this get-together supports a great cause!

Team #RustEZ – On Tuesday, I will start the donations by pledging $1 per RustEZ community member who shows up for our event (up to 50 players).  Death will match the donation on behalf of the RustEZ community.

We encourage everyone in our community who wants to donate, to do so for Team RustEZ. Simply include #RustEZ in the comments section when you make a donation to keep our community on the leader board! You must include the #RustEZ tag when you make the donation. 100% of all Charitable Rust 2019 donations go Pencils of Promise, a global community that believes everyone deserves access to quality education.

    How to Participate

EZ staff and players can join our Discord (Lobby 1) at 8 PM and head over to the CR 2019 event server. We'll hang out, have some fun and support Charitable Rust 2019! We'll meet at DOA's Bar on Portal Street and jump into events.

    See you Tuesday!

  4. You earn credits by logging in and playing on our Survival and Scourge servers. You will earn 100 credits per hour while on the server, plus earn 5 credits for each NPC kill - including Zombie kills. You can also sell items on the black market (type /shop in chat) to obtain credits. On the Survival servers, you can also loot additional credit rewards from crates.

We'll be adding a FAQ to the RustEZ website in the near future that will help new players find answers to questions like this, but always feel free to post any questions you have in the forums or in our Discord.

  5. Yep, I forgot the RNG Prize for this. Some names are Discord, others Steam/in-game, depending on where you left a reaction. RNG is 14 - Congrats Sharla. Message an admin in-game for your prize.

Join us for a shocking new twist on this gruesome game show. In Kill-A-Watt: The Tesla Terror Edition, players are confined to their own space with their very own fully charged (and ready to fry) Tesla coil. Each coil is attached to a random numbered switch on the board. Players take turns picking a number to try and eliminate other contestants.

Choose wisely! You could very well pick your own Tesla switch!

    Friday, October 18, 8-9 pm EST (US-Scourge)

    How The Event Works:

    • Players join the event with an empty inventory and no access to backpacks.
    • The first 30 players to successfully grab a seat will play for prizes.
    • Once all of the seats have been filled, hosts will start the game.
    • During the game hosts go in order and have players select numbers until everyone has been eliminated except for the final player.
    • There is up to three rounds of play depending on total number of event participants. The final round will award EZ store credit prizes.

    Prizes:

    • 1st: $10 EZ Store Credit
    • 2nd:  $5 EZ Store Credit
    • 3rd: 3x supply signals
    • All final round participants will receive a Halloween Loot bag

Feedback- keep up the good work. been on this server since the beginning pretty much. even with the changes and all the new stuff its been really fun. admin events are also really fun, creative and are one of my fav aspects recently. props to Death and the Admin Team for keeping everything enjoyable and non toxic even with the explosion of new people and conflicting play styles. considering back when i first joined EZ a populated day was like 15 players or something. its been awesome to log in and farm and build when i want to, go out and check out builds and shops, be social and just have fun with randoms.

    Suggestions-

BRING POOKIE TOWN BACK- idc if i get 5fps. or if pookie was just a shack that traded 1000 minnows for 1-wood and everyone built around it. i enjoyed having a big town with cool shops and builds and running into people all the time. not that i havent enjoyed this wipe, because i have, but i do.... i do miss trying to run thru Lag city. XD

I also would like to see that Casino make a come back one wipe. that ish was awesome (forgot who built it but the games were hella fun so thanks whoever did that so many wipes ago)

Thanks again to Death and the Admin team. also a big thanks to this community. the community has been freaking amazing. im glad to be apart of it

Thanks, Dab. I didn't do the snowball machines/Pookie Fishing Pool this wipe because there were already a lot of unknowns about using the custom map (i.e. larger map, more lag for players loading it before the builds even go up).

I do agree though. It creates a place for players to be social, gives the server a fun community vibe and helps players meet and group for shenanigans and chat in-game with admins when we're online.  It will be back next wipe.

The casino is something admins could plan as an event again (with bandit wheel) but it's not something we can do and leave open for players outside of an event time.  Players are welcome to do public builds like this however (*hint hint*).

Instead of making one big server, why not making 2 smaller server.

Monuments are overcrowded, so much, people are bothering each other off

Having rules about stealing from monuments would also be nice. I understand admins cant be everywhere at the same time. But atleast telling players it's wrong to steal, although it shouldnt be told in the first place.

The higher population and large community on the server is why many play here. On a PvE server with 50+ people in the evenings, you have to expect that multiple players will be doing the same loot run as you. It's a community server: share + compromise goes a long way to keeping it an enjoyable experience.

If solo access to loot is something you enjoy in Rust, I would suggest doing the popular loot runs when fewer people are on. You can also give one lower pop EZ servers a try, or Surge if you want to contest other players for loot.

You are correct; admins can't be everywhere at once. We also need time to check logs and time to confer with other admins (when needed) to handle different issues that come up on the server. Issues may not be resolved in the exact instant a player requests help on the server -- but if you bring it to our attention it will be taken care of.

Get your build hammers out and pumpkins on! We're hosting a Halloween build contest for all players on the US-Scourge server. Build an original spooky, Halloween-themed space on the server and enter to win prizes for next wipe.

    Build Requirements

The build must be Halloween-themed and contain a minimum of 5 Halloween items obtained during wipe (graveyard fences, jack-o-lanterns, cursed cauldron, etc.). These items will be easier to find after the Rust Halloween update (expected to hit on the 17th).

    Rules & Info

    • To enter, reply to this forum thread and include a screenshot of your build area and the map grid ID.
    • Once you have posted here, ask an admin for your build package (a few helpful and Halloween items).
    • Builds must be posted here by midnight (ET) Sunday, October 27, 2019.
    • Admins will view contest builds and offer player tours of the builds between October 28 and 30.
    • Players must maintain the tool cupboard (TC) during the contest to ensure no decay prior to midnight (ET) on October 30, 2019.

    Build Tours

Near the end of wipe, admins will host a server event so we can tour the contest build (TBA)

  11. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2019 - 8 PM EST (US-Scourge)

Get ready to run and jump for your life, Scourge!

This deadly but fun challenge is designed to test your patience, skill and luck. As you cross the treacherous spike pit you'll need to constantly jump and move to avoid other participants and the swinging armored doors that are designed to slow you down and hinder progress.

Each round is a timed mad dash to the end – if you die in the spike pit, you can respawn and keep trying until the timer (or your patience) runs out.
Those who make it to the other side of the pit in the first three rounds will earn a spot in the final round where you will compete for RustEZ store credits and in-game prizes.

    How The Event Works:

    - Players join the event with an empty inventory and no access to backpacks.
    - When the event starts, all players will attempt to cross the spike pit as many times as needed in 5 minutes.
    - Players who successfully make it to the end in any of the first 3 qualifier rounds will compete in the final round for prizes.
    - In the final round, winners are chosen in order of making it across the pit (or in order of who died closest to the finish).

    Prizes:

    • 1st: $10 EZ Store Credit
    • 2nd:  $5 EZ Store Credits
    • 3rd: 3x supply signals
    • Players who make it to the final round will receive a Halloween Loot bag.
