Are You Scared? Good.

Will you run and hide or search the maze for weapons to kill the murderous admins before they find you? In this timed server event, players have only one goal... to stay alive.

How The Event Works:

• Players join the event with an empty inventory and no access to backpacks.
• When the staging area door opens, players must enter the maze.
• The door will close, preventing players from entering the maze again if they die.
• Players will try to stay alive for five minutes.
• The last player(s) standing when everybody else has fallen are the round winners.
• There will be multiple rounds of play (to be determined based on total number of event participants).

You may choose to run, hide and avoid contact with the maze murderers and be the last player alive. You may also choose to locate weapons hidden in the maze and kill the murderers before they get you.

Event Times:

Sun 26:  3-4pm ET 
Mon 27: 8-9pm ET

The Murder Maze will also be open to players at various times from Sat 25 th to Mon 27 th. We will make every effort to announce times in advance in this forum thread, in game chat and in Discord, but generally we will run this fun event any time this weekend when we have two admins on and 5+ participants to start the event.

Prizes:

• All event participants will receive in-game event rewards at the end of each timed maze run. 
• All players who win a timed Maze run event with 5 or more participants will receive one in-game prize (supply signal).
• Round winners must meet one of the following: Last Player to Die (or) Any Player alive if all admins die.
• Round winners who stay alive AND kill an admin will also win Gold egg MVP prize.
• Top participant who play final round in the Sun & Mon events will also win a $5 RustEZ store credit.

- The public access beds/bags you place for others can only be used via the respawn menu (not /home)
- Players need to have TC access to place the bed/bag on their own (to use via /home).
- Players also need to have TC auth to /home port to the bed/bag after placing it as well.

Admins always tell players that only trusted friends should have access to your TC, items and inventories for a reason. While we certainly expect players to be respectful and not loot/steal from other players (or damage another player's base/build), keep in mind it can happen if you choose to allow TC access.

If you are looking for a hotel-like public build that is a bit more "troll-proof" (and still allow players to use /home ports) try builds where each room is done with a separate TC, so players can authorize only on a TC for their room -- think cabana, lodge motel or a cottage layout. In fact, we've had some creative trailer parks in previous wipes using this layout.

Rules and Info:

• Rustopoly - EZ Edition is played using simplified Monopoly rules.
• Players start with 200 scrap and collect an additional 200 scrap each time they pass EZ GO.
• Players spin EZ dice wheels to advance around the game board.
• If you spin doubles, you spin again after completing your turn. Three sets of doubles in a row will land you in Banned Camp.
• Players in Banned Camp cannot collect rent, build houses, or conduct trades.
• Players landing on unowned property, servers or utilities may choose to buy the title deeds and charge rent / fees to players landing on owned spaces.
• Collect a matching set of property title deeds and upgrade with a Pookie to increase rental income.
• Players landing on Chance or Community Chest will draw a note from the chest and follow the instructions.
• Taxes and fines are paid to the bank and awarded to players landing on Free Parking.

Notes:

Please join your Scourge game hosts in the RustEZ Discord (US) Scourge channel 15 minutes prior to event start time. (www.rustez.com/discord if you are not already a member).

You will need to have signs enabled in Rust to participate in this event. To toggle signs in game go to: Settings > Options > Censorship (please make sure "Hide Signs" option is set to OFF.

Winning:

• Games will run 1 hour (max) and the winner is determined based on property + scrap + Pookie values at the end of the hour.
• Up to 8 teams (max three players per team) may participate in the Rustopoly event. Teams and prizes may be adjusted, depending on total number of event participants -- or we may chose to run a  second event (with prizes).
• Players who do not remain in the event for the duration of the game will forfeit all Rustopoly items to the EZ Bank and are not eligible to win prizes.

Think you have what it takes to earn the title of "MVP: MGL Zombie Popper" on US Scourge?

OBJECTIVE:  Capture the longest distance zombie kill with the MGL during May wipe. 

RULES:

• You must upload a full-sized screenshot that clearly shows the MGL Zombie hit in the kill feed.  No cropping or editing.
• You must secure your own MGL and ammo to enter the challenge.  
• You can build towers or work in pairs/groups but only the player name shown in the kill feed can enter the screenshot.
• Yes, capturing and posting the kill feed screen is required (see #1).  
• Earn small MGL ammo rewards every time you post a valid challenge screenshot to this forum thread. Ammo may also be rewarded to players who participate in other Scourge server events.
• Players will have from Sunday, May 5 to Sunday, June 02 to submit their best shot.
• No cheating or being dishonest: You will be disqualified from this and all future monthly server challenges.

Even if it's not a winning shot, please feel free upload and share your kill feed attempts, screens of your gear or Zombie tower here for discussion. Combat logs are not accepted for this challenge but you can submit them for discussion purposes.

AWARDS:
The Top 3 Zombie MGL Poppers will receive a supply signal to use on wipe day in June. The top challenger will also earn the MGL and stack of 20 grenade launcher ammo of choice on wipe day in June.

NEXT PANIC PLATFORMS EVENT: SATURDAY MAY 4TH (8 PM ET)

How to Play

This event is a Free-for-all style and the goal is to knock your opponents down out of the twig platforms. Everyone will start at the top of the structure and players will slowly fall down. The foundations are designed so that there are more missing platforms as you go down a level.

Rules and Info

- The last 3 players will receive the top 3 prizes
- Players will be given a set of weapon, ammo, and meds (bow, 100 arrows, fire arrow).
- Each player will have ONE fire arrow that will instantly break a platform. Use them wisely!
- If you hit the water or not in a twig platform you are out.

It is possible to fall multiple levels which could get you in a wounded state, if you don't get back up you are out, although you can try to convince other players to help you back up.

If you fall and hit the next floor you may shoot the platforms above you if there are players above, however, if you are out, you may not shoot platforms any longer. Also, playing and standing on the wall frames will get you a disqualification.

There will be three rounds. The top 3 winners of the first round may participate again for round 2 for fun but will be ineligible to win the top prize.

Scourge admins will review chat logs and player history to determine if a player is indeed breaking the "No player disrespect & no spam" rules.  If additional information is required, an admin with follow up with you.  In the meantime, I sincerely hope that you are able to work these issues out with the other player.

Don't forget to ask an admin for a contest kit. It's a few build and decorative items that you may use. You can request it once you post your contest entry screen + map grid ID in here!

All players should be able to complete a teleport using /friend 10 times per day. There has been additional reports of this not resetting properly when daily cool downs rest, so there does seem to be an issue with this right now. I know this is a frustrating experience for you, but I have added a bug report so Death can look into it further. You can check status of the bug report here:

Also, just to make sure you know about the /home function on Scourge. You can place up to 10 different /home locations on Scourge allowing you and friends to arrive at locations very close to your favorite monuments by placing a bed or bag and all going to the same /home location. There is only a small time cool down on home ports (not a max daily like /friend). You just need in-game credits to use!
