just a fyi A windmill actually makes 300 power, it is buffed to double the vanilla. It may be less if down low or it is too close to another windmill or is in a unlucky area/season. Solars are also buffed to double the vanilla.

As noted Scourge does have decay/upkeep however part of playing on a high pop server such as US Scourge is that many build locations may be limited.
If you'd like more options to build you can check out EU Scourge which has a good ping for US players as it's on the same network. There's also AU Scourge which may have even more locations available.

You've noted that a few stone bases decay after 7 days, this could be the inactivity purge removing inactive player and bases from the map which will also take care of any inactive player base regardless of materials.

It's not the role of the volunteer admins to tell players how to play or build, admins do check out areas with spammed tc's that claim a large amount of unused land (if you see them let one know.) It's always best to upgrade a base as it furthers gameplay but this isn't always an option (player may only be on for that day or have pc issues etc.)

I do think upping twig decay is sort of a good idea and it does get mentioned often however it would impact new players just starting out and maybe add to current outpost vending machine material issues (which is already under strain from networth farmers.)

In the survival/scourge servers it's popular thing to do (especially around monuments) to have TP bases. Which are usually just a foundation, tc and bag. It's small on upkeep and land cost which allows more players to build around and in my opinion doesn't break the rule of claiming large areas of unused land. It can be a lazy way to travel and it negates the use of maintaining a car, horse or not exploding a mini (it may work better for players who have pc issues and can't use these transports due to low fps.)
As it gets closer to end of wipe, areas may open up if your fast enough to snatch them up when they become available.

I've seen players actively give an open invite for anyone wanting to shoot a heli to join them at their heli tower before they throw signals, it tends to have a better result.

Rest assured that it's a known issue that the player who has thrown the heli signal can't always loot the crates, it's on the list to fix.

Normally god genetic plants can be crossbred easily without hundreds of plant seeds.

To easily increase berry/corn/pumpkin/potato seeds, plant seeds in the corners of planters. Leave bad genetic ones to fruit, then harvest and eat.

Being able to salvage hammer a plant to get a blank clone cheats the game and quickens progression which leads to boredom.
If all else is too much, support your ingame farmer who has done the work and buy their clones.

this custom monument is still a work in progress, it's best visited on a scourge/survival server where you can revive and teleport out.

if your right click and copy link on the connect button you can grab the IP address from there. It might be an oldschool internet thing of checking where buttons go, but no need to go through BM and still be on the connect page.

During down-time on servers, I like to paint misc. stuff in-game and I know a few others do as well. I thought it might be nice to be able to save your in-game paintings for future wipes. While you can screenshot your paintings, it loses a lot of quality when /sil back into the game. throwing some images of past paintings. 

I've seen this before where there is an ability to upload your sign and it goes through a discord feed. Not sure what plugin this is or if it creates lag.

for whatever reason you decide to build where you do another player may have the same or different reason of why that spot appeals to them (or it may be built in haste before they logged off.) I think it's all part of playing on a map that you share with other players. Discussing with your neighbour politely if possible is a great way to gain a friend. I'd suggest looking out for your neighbour and offering compensation should they want to move while not being disrespectful.

Unfortunately this happens occasionally, admins don't have access to fix that issue and we all wait it out as it's just a temporary feature.
