    The Basics
Before attempting to take on the Bradley please keep in mind that it could very well be broken and or completely overpowered following its recent implementation. The Bradley will  only be found patrolling the launch site and it will shoot  anyone  it sees naked or not. These new NPC's will respawn every 15 minutes.

    Loot
The APC shares the same loot tables as the helicopter offering a wide variety of weapon attachments, ammunition and occasionally advanced weaponry such as the M249. Like the helicopter, you can also harvest the APC's main body using tools for HQM and fragments.

    Defensive
The Bradley has both a primary and a secondary  weapon which includes a  turret-like machine gun and an explosive round barrel that can strike players from several yards away. It's recommended to engage at an elevated vantage point or risk being barraged by rockets.

    Offensive
You're limited to only a few ways of destroying the Bradley and all of which include only splash damage from explosives. Before setting off here is what you'll need to successfully  destroy the APC with minimal resources lost.

C4  - As C4 does the most damage and only takes 2 to destroy the APC one might consider the possibility of no return as it will be extremely difficult to get close enough to the APC to use such tool without being gunned down in the process.

Rockets   - One of the better choices for assaulting  the APC as players can use distance as an advantage out ranging the APC's secondary weapon. If all your hits are true you'll expect a clean victory with 6 rockets.

Explosive Rounds  - The only method of destroying the APC using a rifle is to use explosive rounds that will deal small amounts of splash damage which will affect the APC's overall health pool. Using this method is not recommended as 1 hit from an explosive round only deals 1 damage so you'll need well over 1000 bullets to destroy the APC. That's if you land every shot of course.

  2. It's a nice plugin to have but sadly not a thing we can give to players as it would cause huge performance hits and if applicable, crashes. Even for admins, the risk is not as high as the award. Thanks for your suggestion, as always!

  3. Big recoil changes! Larger spawn areas, Bradley progress, Fog reduced, Garbage collection, fewer logs, Garbage collection, Heavy plate armor buff, Small monuments coming soon. Other things: Riot helmet no longer requires sewing kit, More description fixes and updates, A bunch of fixes for OSX, Removed max draggable from items (except liquids.)  Progress on the AI branch.

  4. You can now earn caps by playing any of our servers. You'll be rewarded every 15 minutes for playing which can then be used on our caps store which will include items such as supply drops, resources and other in game items. Your bank will be stored per server and then merged together using the vault system on our online platform.

You will start to see your points accumulate when the system is fully intergraded in Beta 9 releasing later this month.

  5. As a one-time only courtesy, I will lift the ban but be warned that any other infraction accumulated  with our zero tolerance policy will result in a permanent ban. Your ban has been lifted.

  6. This topic has been brought up ever since the dawn of time and it really should be addressed now before further misinformation is spread throughout players. As we most know, FacePunch does what they call "forced wipes" which forces servers to wipe before updating to the newest build. They typically only do this if they make changes to proc gen but it seems this has become a norm every month.

With that being said I think it's wise we adjust our wipe cycle to accommodate the ever changing landscape in Rust by reverting from our 3-month cycle and instead wipe only when forced. Once Rust either progresses further or fully releases this will no longer be an issue but as of right now this needs to be changed.

Wiping in PvE sounds pointless, I know, but the efforts of transferring inventories will start to burn out players and leave them with nothing else to do which will eventually drive them away from Rust completely. PvE is very different compared to PvP as the risk and reward factor is there where as in PvE you can stockpile to your heart's content which leaves out the possibility of loss which Rust was built around.

    TL:DR
All PvE servers will now only wipe when forced which may very well be a monthly thing until Rust progresses in development.

There was talk about something to add fuel back to lights that were empty.   I think you said when there's a soft reboot or something the fuel may drop 1 - so if you took out all the fuel but 1 it would go to zero.   Not knowing that - we emptied a lot of lights to 1 and now we have groves of lights burned out.   Even if it was 3 fuel or something so it couldn't be exploited would be a help.

As a lesson's learned we will not be taking fuel out of the lights in the future!!

    Still working on a solution.

I did the campfire quest and it seemed to eat the campfire I had made.  I could have missed it in my bag.  you might want to test it.

It will "eat" the one you craft and then reward you with another.

If we can sequence quest so they open up based on completion of others we could walk new players through the basics of:

    chop wood

    make a map

    Drink (from a river)

    find corn (by a river)

    find pumpkin (by a river)

    get some more wood

    get some stone

    make tools (axe and pick)

    collect cloth

    make an bow and arrows

    .... etc.

It's generic atm as quests only have the option of cooldowns but I am working on solutions to allow chains and one time quests.

  8. @Fyreswrath A few were added yesterday under various categories. More will come soon but I would like to get a quest expire system going to reduce repetitiveness in questing. More quests will also be added in slowly so it's not overwhelming.

@Skivies  the current quest plugin is very basic in terms of quest and reward but regardless I will see to that quest being added.

  9. Looting, in general, is not tolerated but looting someone else's heli kill in particular is very disrespectful as it takes time and skill to down one. Use this as a learning experience and be sure to read the servers rules before reconnecting. I have lifted the ban and look forward to you rejoining our community.
